Forthcoming Marathi film suitably titled ‘My Lek’ which is based on delicate Mother and daughter relationship will release on 19th April 2024. Presented by Sonali Saraogi under the banner of Blooming Lotus Productions, produced by Kalpita Khare & Bijay Anand this film is directed by Priyanka Tanwar. The film stars Sonalee Khare, Sanaya Anand, Umesh Kamat, Bijay anand, Shubhangi Latkar, Sanjay Mone, Mahesh Patwardhan, Vansh Agrawal in lead roles. Nitin Prakash Vaidya is Associate Producer of this film.

‘Alibaba Aani Chalishitale Chor’ to release on 29th March
We have all heard about the folk tale ’Alibaba Aani Chalis Chor’. But, have you heard about ‘Alibaba Aani Chalishitle’ Chor’? Actually, this is the title of the forthcoming Marathi film, which stars many renowned artistes from Marathi film industry. Therefore, for Marathi film lovers, this film will be a big treat. Recently, the release date of this film was officially announced as 29th March 2024.
Presented by Nitin Vaidya Praductions and Produced by Mrudgandha Films L.L.P; this film is directed by Aditya Ingale. The film stars Subodh Bhave, Mukta Barve, Umesh Kamat, Shruti Marathe, Atul Parchure, Madhura Velankar and Anand Ingale in lead roles. Script of this film is written by Vivek Bele.
Speaking about his film, director Aditya Ingale says, “ Crime Committed by these thieves in this film is that all of them are married and in their forties. Now, what punishment is given to all of them, will be known only after the film’s release.”
Now, Biopic on Namdeo Dhasal
The Bioscope Films will present a biopic on Rebel Poet and Founder of Dalit Panther Movement Mr. Namdev Dhasal. This Marathi film titled ‘Dhasal’. The makers of this film Producer Sanjay Pande, writer Varuna Rana and director Pratap Gangavane have obtained official production rights from the family members of Mr. Namdev Dhasal and have done extensive research on this subject for the past two years.

The actual production of this film will begin in September 2024 and the film will be released in the year 2025. According to producer Sanjay Pande, “Padma Shri Namdev Dhasal was committed leader of Dalit Panther movement and he was the first poet to take Marathi literature at Global level. His life was like a burning torch. I am fortunate that I am making a film on his inspiring life.” Late Namdev Dhasal’s wife Mallika Amar Shaikh has wished all the good wishes with a salute to the team of this film.

Padma Shri Nayana Apte to be felicitated on her 75th birthday
Padma Shri actress Nayana Apte who inherited the artistic talent from her legendary singer and actress mother Late Shanta Apte right from the little age of 4 years, later established herself as a complete singer and actress in entertainment industry. Today, Nayana Apte has completed 70 years of her acting career and therefore to celebrate this occasion and also her 75th birthday, she will be felicitated through a special entertaining programme suitably titled ‘Amrutnayana’.
This programme will be presented by Sawaigandharva and Sanskruti Seva Nyas’ at Kalidas Natya Mandir, Mulund on 24th February 2024. The programme has been designed in three parts. The first part will present Natya Sangeet, Natya Pravesh and Kathak dances by reputed performers. The second part will be felicitation of Nayana Apte by renowned personalities. ‘Hee Anokhi Gaath’ trailer released
After releasing the first poster few days ago, Writer- director Mahesh Manjrekar has released the trailer of his forthcoming Marathi film ‘Hee Anokhi Gaath’ recently. Starring Shreyas Talpade, Gauri Ingavale, Rishi Saxena, Sharad Ponkshe and Suhas Joshi in lead roles, the film will be released on 9th March 2024. The film is presented by Zee Studios along with Mahesh Manjrekar.
Speaking about this film actor Shreyas Talpade says, “ Now days, we are missing good love stories. And therefore, when Mahesh Dada approached with the story of this film, I immediately agreed to do it. Mahesh Dada does very selective films and his subjects are always different For me, working with him and Zee Studios was a wonderful experience. Rap Song ‘Navroba’ from the film ‘Kanni’ released
As 8th March which is the release date of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Kanni’ is approaching closer, the makers of this film have released the first song video of the film on social media. This is a rap song titled ‘Navroba’ picturised on lead actress Ruta Durgule, who is seen waiting for the arrival of her would be husband. In other scenes during this song, though she is seen dancing along with her co- artistes Shubhankar tawde, Vallari Viraj and Rishi Manohar, her mind is in search of her would be husband.
This song which is penned by Chaitanya Kulkarni, is rendered by singers Jyoti Bhande and Caesar on the music of Agnel Roman. Written and directed by Sameer Joshi, this film is produced by Amit Bhargad, Gagan Meshram, Vaibhav Bhor and Sunny Rajani. Speaking about the songs in this film, writer- director Sameer Joshi says, “ I always wished that If a film revolves around friendship, love and dreams, the songs of the film should be energetic. And with this ‘Navroba’ song my wish was fulfilled.”
First song of ‘Lagna kallol’ picturised on Bhushan and Mayuri released
The first song of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Lagna kallol’ picturised on Bhushan Pradhan and Mayuri Deshmukh has been released. The song titled ‘Sanai Sang..’ ideally suited for marriage ceremonies is rendered by Avadhoot Gupte and Juilee Joglekar. With lyrics by Mandar Cholkar and music by Swapnil Godbole and Praful Karlekar, the choreography of this song has been done by ‘Dance India Dance’ fame Prince.
The song presents the scenario of Mehendi ceremony during marriage and therefore depicts the enthusiasm of youngsters, colourful dresses, music and dances. Produced by Mayur Tirmakhe films, this film is directed by Mohammed S Burmawala and Dr. Mayur Annasaheb Ramachandra Tirmakhe. Written by Jitendrakumar Parmar, this film is set for release on 1st March 2024. Speaking about this song, Director Mayur Tirmakhe says, “ This song is presented to fill in that required energy for all those who will be part of the wedding celebrations.”
