I personally don’t celebrate Maharashtra Day in a particular way, but I participate in all public celebrations like the ‘Diwali’ festival and I feel that different political parties celebrating separately is a good thing because many more people can participate in it since it’s for a common cause.
My message to all Maharashtrians is to bring back prosperity to the state which has fallen from its top position to third or fourth and to strive hard for solving major problems like load-shedding and other related problems like cleanliness, etc..

I will be part of two shows to celebrate Maharashtra day, by performing ‘lavnis’ , one for Raj Thackeray’s show on the 30th night which will be a dazzling laser show and another show on May 1. I am very happy to perform for Maharashtra Day, since it is such an important day for all the Maharashtrians. I really can’t comment on the political imbroglio regarding the celebrations for obvious reasons. But, my message for the people is that Maharashta Day is like a ‘New Year’ or ‘Diwali’ celebration and all Maharashtrians should rejoice about ‘Marathi’manoos reaching high places and prospering in all walks of life in just 50 years’. Now, we can think about all that we can achieve in the next fifty years.

I like to work even on Maharashtra Day and I don’t consider it as a holiday. The recent spate regarding the celebrations is something I don’t follow as I am not following any controversies. My message to people is to consider Maharashtra not only for a specific community but accept all those staying here as their own, without any linguistic or religious or parochial differences..

I am definitely going to celebrate Maharashtra Day, since we got our statehood on this day and also because it is International Labour Day. I am going to treat it like a holiday and stay at home without doing anything special. However, since there is a Satyanarayan Pooja on the Police Grounds near my house , I will grace the occasion with my physical presence. I am really troubled by the infighting in political parties over the mode of celebrating the Maharashtra day. My message is that let all Maharashtrians come together and celebrate it in unison, peacefully and without any disputes.
