Three years ago we saw a sensible Marathi film Killa ( The Fort) directed by Avinash Arun. The film revolved around an 11-year-old child played by Archit Deodhar who faces a difficult time coping with the death of his father and transfer of his working Mother ( Amruta Subhash) to other place. The film was selected for the 64th Berlin International Film Festival where it won the Crystal Bear by the Children’s Jury in the Generation Plus Selection.
Now, Amruta Subhash and Archit Deodhar are returning through another film ‘6 Guun’ , where they will be playing the roles of Mother and son respectively. The film is all set to release on 14th April 2017. The poster of this film was launched on social media recently, clearly indicating that this film is set on the backdrop of education. The film also stars versatile actor Sunil Barve in lead role. Produced by Ujwala Gawde, the film is directed by debutant Kiran Gawde.
