For the past fifteen years, he has been branded as a comedy actor in Marathi entertainment. Anshuman Vichare grabbed all the attention through popular Comedy skit show ‘Fu Bai Fu’ where he won the best comedian award. He was invited for similar shows; but Anshuman was eagerly waiting for a role, which was of serious type to enable him to attempt something different to prove his real acting skills. And this opportunity came to him during this year.

In the latest Marathi play ‘Mansaa Mansaa Hup Hup’, Anshuman plays the lead role, which deviates him from his usual comedy. This has certainly made him happy, as he has got an opportunity to not only perform a serious type of role, but a distinctive role through this sensible play. When this role was offered to Anshuman, he preferred to do research on his own and kept watching national geographical channel for almost six months, before performing his character on stage. No wonder, critics have applauded his role in this play.
