Mahesh Manjrekar is film director, actor, writer and producer .He is credited with directing the critically acclaimed film ‘Vaastav -The Reality‘. He has won a National Film Award and two Star Screen Awards. Mahesh Manjrekar is going in a big way. His Ashwami Films, which has produced sensible films like ‘Aai‘, ‘Matichya Chuli‘,’De Dhakka‘, ‘Mi Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy‘, and ‘Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho‘, has tied up with Mirah Entertainment (the company involved in distribution of Bollywood and Hollywood films) to form a new company – ‘Great Maratha Entertainment’ for this purpose.
