Gashmeer Mahajani all set to grab the attention of Marathi film lovers
Having already debuted in Hindi, six years ago through the film ‘Muskurake Dekh Zara‘, it took little more time for Gashmeer Mahajani , to make his grand debut in Marathi as the new action hero through the film ‘Carry On Maratha‘ in 2015. This was followed by his role as a young scientist in the super hit film ‘Deool Band‘.
Now, Gashmeer is all set to grab the attention of Marathi film lovers, with the release of much talked about film ‘Kanha‘, which is releasing on coming Friday, followed by much awaited ‘One Way Ticket‘ .In ‘Kanha‘, he is playing a parallel hero along with Vaibhav Tatwawdi, while in multi starrer ‘One Way Ticket‘ he has equally important role. But, after watching the trailer of both these films, one expects him to invite all the attention. Gashmeer has a good screen presence and he has a rich voice with equally good dialogue delivery .
Being the son of the Famous Marathi film actor Ravindra Mahajani, he invites media attention more. His education includes studies at Abhinava Vidyalaya in his hometown of Pune, followed by studies at BMCC Pune. Gashmeer has also worked at Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai for four years, which shows his attachment to the city of Mumbai. He also runs an academy for contemporary dance training and martial arts and has also directed a few Marathi plays. Isn’t that enough to describe his plus points ?

हल्ली इंग्रजी, हिंदी चित्रपटांप्रमाणे नवीन मराठी चित्रपट सुद्धा प्रदर्शनाच्या ६-८ महिन्यांच्या आतच छोट्या पडद्यावर दाखवले जातात. एखाद्या चित्रपटाने खूप कमाई केलेली असते, बॉक्सऑफिसवर चित्रपट सुपर हिट असतो, एखाद्या चित्रपटातील स्टार कास्ट मोठी किंवा फेमस असते, तर कधी काही चित्रपट वाहिनीच्या आर्थिक गणितात योग्य बसलेला असतो. ह्या पैकी कुठलेली कारण असले तरी, चित्रपट छोट्या पडद्यावर दाखवल्या गेल्यामुळे नक्कीच अधिकाधिक प्रेक्षेकांपर्यंत तो पोहोचण्यात व वाहिन्यांचे टी आर पी वाढण्यात काही अंशी नक्कीच भर पडते.

‘हद्द बघितलीस…आता जिद्द बघ’ अशी जबरदस्त कॅचलाईन असलेला हा चित्रपटमहाराष्ट्र,कर्नाटक सीमाभागातील नायक नायिकेच्या प्रेमकथेवरआधारित आहे. दोन प्रेमीयुगुलांचं फुलणारं प्रेम व ते मिळवण्यासाठी करावा लागणारा संघर्ष या चित्रपटातूनपहायला मिळणार आहे.चित्रपटाच्या नावाला साजेसे तडाखेबंद डायलॉग्ज प्रेक्षकांचे पुरेपूर मनोरंजन करणारे आहेत.अभिनेता गश्मीर महाजनी आणि अभिनेत्री कश्मीरा कुलकर्णी यांच्या अभिनयाने नटलेल्या या सिनेमात मराठीबरोबरच कानडी संवादाची मजा घेता येणार आहे.

First look of ‘Carry on Maratha’ introduce Gashmeer and Kashmira
Till now, we had only heard about their names and their forthcoming film ‘Carry On Maratha’. But, yesterday evening filmmaker Sanjay Londhe raised the curtain, to introduce his lead pair, during the first look of his film ‘Carry On Maratha’ in a club in Mumbai. After doing the formalities of introducing the producers Ms. Nanda Thakur and Ms. Shashikala Kshirsagar , the lead pair of Gashmeer Mahajani and Kashmira Kulkarni gave a fine live performance, to give glimpse of their chemistry, in the intense love story of their film.
Incidentally, the story of this film is about a Maharashtrian boy and a girl from Karnataka, set on the backdrop of Maharashtra Karnataka border. Having assisted reputed directors from Bollywood like Abbas Mastan, Priyadarshan, Ashutosh Govarikar and Nikhil advani, for the last 15 years, director Sanjay Londhe has also engaged bollywood music directors Shail & Pritesh for his film’s music. For film’s cinematography, he has engaged his friend Arun Prasad from South. The other star cast of the film comprise of Arun Nalawade, Devika Daftardar, Usha naik, Shantanu Moghe, Sachin Deshpande, Kishore Chougule and others. The film will be released in July 2015.
