‘Gurukul’ promises quality music
New Marathi film ‘Gurukul’, presented by Anil Kabra and directed by Rommel Rodrigues, is getting ready for release on 7th August 2015. Recently, the music of this film was released at the hands of well known RPI leader Ramdas Athavale in presence of dignitaries like Singer Udit Narayan, Raja Hasan, Actor Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali production’s CEO, Sandeep Singh. On this occasion the director, presenter, lead actors of this film Nagesh Bhosale, Vidyadhar Joshi, actor Swapnil Joshi(Jr.), Pradip Kunwar, Prashant Mohite, Sonali Shewale, Rinna Liman, ‘U’ vaa Fame actress Neha Khan were also present.
To make this event entertaining, Preeti Sadaphule did an item number, on the lavani sung by veteran singer Asha Bhosle, for this film. Speaking on the occasion, RPI leader Ramdas Athawale stated, that if ‘Gurukul’ film does not find theatres, his party can help them. According to the makers, this film will help to build bonding between teacher and students .
The other songs from this film are sung by legendary singer Suresh wadkar, Sachin Pilgaonkar & Neha Rajpal. The Music of this film has been composed by SanjayRaj Gaurinandan and lyrics are by Prashant Ingole, Rajesh Bamugade & Madhukar Arkade.
Raj Thackeray launches music of ‘Nilkanth Master’
Having directed more than 40 films, during the past 12 years, renowned Marathi film director Gajendra Ahire is now coming with his new film ‘Nilkanth Master’, produced by Meghmala Balbhim Pathare. Recently the music of this film was launched in a big way in Mumbai, at the hands of Maharashtra Navanirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray. On this occasion all the three main artistes of the film, namely Pooja Sawant, Omkar Govardhan, Neha Mahajan & Adinath Kothare were present , along with music director duo Ajay Atul and well known singer Javed Ali. The film has total four songs in the voices of Javed Ali , Ajay Gogavle and Shreya Ghoshal. The other two important artites of the film are Vikram Gokhale & Kishore kadam.
On this occasion, the video clippings of the songs picturised on lead artistes were shown. The film is set on the backdrop of the period of 1940s and also covers the dawn of India’s freedom, with Vande Mataram song. The song was played live, by 15 singers, who were part of the chorus, along with Ajay Atul. Though Omkar Govardhan , who plays title role was dressed up in simple clothes, both Pooja and Neha presented themselves with designer clothes, for this occasion. While speaking on the occasion, Mr. Raj Thackeray praised singer Javed Ali, for his clear pronunciation of Marathi in the song. He also recalled the olden days, when late Mohammed Rafi used to visit his music director father, to learn proper Marathi pronunciation from him, to enable him to sing Marathi songs on his music.
The show was anchored by Abhijit Khandkekar, who did a good job, interviewing all those important persons connected with this film. ‘Nilkanth master’ is due for release on 7th August 2015.
Anil Kapoor releases music of ‘Manatlya Unhat’
Kailash Waghmare, who was part of the award winning Marathi play ‘Shivaji Underground in Bhimnagar Mohalla’ is now making his debut through forthcoming Marathi film ‘Manatlya Unhat’. Recently, during the music launch ceremony of this film, he was fortunate to have Bollywood Superstar Anil Kapoor to wish him success. So overwhelmed was kailash on the occasion, that he reacted , “I am playing a character from a young man of 20 till 65 years age and I have tried to imbibe their nuances in this character. The film shows, how unforeseen incidents happen in the life of a common man and how he faces them with great resilience. This can be seen in the film and I am thankful to director Pandurang Jadhav for casting me in this film”.
Anil kapoor, while releasing the music CD, said that he was very much impressed by the song in this film, which had beautiful lyrics and excellent music. There were many other special invitees on the occasion. Prominent among them were Vijay Patkar and Usha Jadhav. Usha had come to wish her sister Ranjana , who has rendered the song.
‘Manatlya Unhat’ is producer Vijayshree Patil’s first production, directed by Pandurang Jadhav and stars three award winning artistes Mitali Jagtap, Kishore Kadam and child star Hansraj Jagtap. The other artistes in the film are Kailash Waghmare, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Ruchita Jadhav, Nagesh Bhosle, Chhaya Kadam, Manthan Patil and Avshiksha Patil. Lyrics by Vishwaraj Joshi ,music by Rahul Mishra, background music by Ashwin Srinivasan and DOP Nagraj Diwakar and editing by Nilesh Navnath Gawand are other credits. The film will be released on 24th July 2015.
‘Olakh – My Identity’ first look and music unveiled
Produced by Harshdeep Sasan,co-produced by Shital Rajveer & directed by Jamil Khan, new Marathi film ‘Olakh- My Identity’ is getting ready for release on 31st July 2015. Recently, the first look and music of this film was unveiled in presence of artistes of Alka Kubal Athalye, Bhushan Patil, Khushboo Tawde, Arun Nalawade & Ganesh Yadav.
The film has two songs penned by Swapnil Mahaling, on the music of Rajesh, Kamal & Pranay Pradhan. One of the songs is a sufi song rendered by Bollywood singer Mohammed Irfan. This is a debut film of Bhushan Patil who is called the first six pack hero of Marathi films. Veteran actress Alka Kubal Athalye plays his mother’s role in the film, while the leading lady of the film is Khushboo Tawde.
Music of ‘Online Binline’ launched
Music of Ganraj Associates’ new Marathi film, produced by Shreyas Jadhav and directed by Kedar Gaikwad, was launched on Wednesday evening in Mumbai, in presence of entire team of the film and media people. The two lead actors of the film Siddharth Chandekar and Hemant Dhome anchored the show, introducing each and every important person associated with the film. Initially, they invited their leading lady Rutuja Shinde from Pune, who is making her debut through this film.
The film is set on the backdrop of today’s internet addicted youth, creating a Rom Com through its story .There are five songs in the film, out of which one is promotional Rap song , which is a of remix of Leslie Lewis and Hariharan’s hit Pop song composed 14 years ago. For the other four songs, the makers have engaged different music directors like Nilesh Moharir and group comprising of Hrishikesh , Saurabh and Jasraj.
New singer Priyanka Barve, Prasanjit Kosambi, Hrishikesh Ranade , who are part of the team of singers were also present along with lyricist Mandar Cholkar, director Kedar Gaikwad & producers Shreyas Jadhav and his mother Neeta Jadhav. The film will release on 3rd July 2015.
Celebrities galore at music launch of ‘Aga Bai Arechha-2′
The music launch of ‘Aga Bai Arechha-2‘ was a glittering event, with the presence of celebrities like Bollywood actress Sridevi and many others from Marathi film industry. Speaking on the occasion, the popular celebrity actress said, “I have a close bond with Maharashtra and the story of ‘Aga Bai Arrechha-2′ is a simple and sensitive story and and the music composed by newcomer Nishad is really wonderful and I am sure we will meet again at the silver jubilee of the music”
In the film the character of Shubhangi resembles Sridevi’s character of Shashi from the film ‘English Vinglish’ and hence kedar Shinde the director, thought of Sridevi as an apt choice for releasing the music of this film. The music of this film is composed by Nishad and it is all set to release on 22nd May 2015.
There are five songs in the film rendered by popular singers . Produced by Narendra Firodia,the film stars Sonali Kulkarni playing the lead role, along with Bharat Jadhav, Prasad Oak, Dharam Gohil, Surabhi Hande and others.
‘Vighnaharta Mahaganapati’ music launched
It is strongly believed by many that on prayers, Lord Ganesh removes all the obstacles from one’s life, and that’s the very reason he is referred to as Vighnaharta. There are different forms of Ganapati which also includes Khavale Mahaganapati, from Taramumbari village in Deogad region. An upcoming Marathi movie ‘Vighnaharta Mahaganapati‘s story is an amalgamation of a story about Khavale Mahaganapati and a story about the faith of a businessman and his family .
‘Vighnaharta Mahaganapati’ is being produced by Suryakant Khavale and directed by Rajesh Chavan. The music of the same was released recently by Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. The film has about five songs, which are composed by music director Chaitanya Aadarkar on lyrics of Sanjay Navgire. Stalwarts like Suresh Wadkar and Roop Kumar Rathore have lent their voice for couple of songs. Aadarsh Shinde, Rahul Saxena and Prasanjeet Kosambi also have a song each, in the film.
‘Vighnaharta Mahaganapati’s story, screenplay, dialogues are by director himself and the cast comprises of Sameer Dharmadhikari, Priya Marathe, Alka Kubal-Aathalye, Tej Rane, Vijay Chavan, Sharad Ponkshe, Ruhi Jadhav, Aashalata Wabgaonkar, Jayant Savarkar, Aniruddha Harip. Incidentally, ‘Khavale Mahaganapati’ also features in Limca Book of National Records.
Grand Music Launch of ‘Ek Hotee Ranee’ in Sangamner
Producer Yogesh Bhalerao & director Prasad Tarkar had a grand music launch of their film ‘Ek Hoti Rani’ at Sangamner. Mr. Ranjit Singh Deshmukh was the chief guest on the occasion. This film is a romantic comedy, starring Aniket Vishwasrao, Minal Ghorpade, Usha nadkarni, Uday Tikekar, Kishori Ambiye & Ashwini Ekbote.
Presented under the banner of Swaroop Samartha Entertainment, the film’s story and screenplay is written by Mahendra Patil; which shows how circumstances changes a person from good to bad. Music of this film has been composed by Salil Amrute, with well known singers like Shaan, Mahalaxmi Iyer , Hrishikesh kamerkar, Neha Rajpal, Janhavi Prabhu rendering their voices for the variety of songs in this film.

Music of ‘Prime Time’ released in presence of celebrities
Today, in Marathi films, music is playing a very important role, in film’s success. No wonder, a lot of importance is given to music release ceremonies today. Producer Himanshu Patil and director Pramod kashyap also released the music of their film ‘Prime Time’ recently in a big way, in presence of celebrities like Mr. Chagan Bhujbal, MLA, Mr. Kesari Patil of Kesari Tours, filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar and actor Sachin Khedekar. On this occasion, songs of this film were shown, which are penned by Prashant Jamdar on the music of Niranjan Pedgaonkar. They are in the voices of Shreya Ghoshal, Savani Ravindra, Jhanavi Prabhu Arora and others. These songs have been shot at picturesque locations.
The film stars Sulekha Talwalkar, Milind Shintre, Nisha Parulekar, Kishore Pradhan, Anurag Worlikar, Krutika Deo and Swayam Jadhav. ‘Prime Time’ will be released all over Maharashtra on 29th may 2015.
‘Runh’ music launched in presence of celebrities
Miss India Universe Manasi Moghe is not part of new Marathi film ‘Runh’; but, she was invited as chief guest, along with her debut Marathi film co-star Kashyap Parulekar, to launch the music of this film. Produced by Mukund Mhatre and Eknathi Bhopi for Shree Samarth International Films, this distinctive film is directed by Vishal Gaikwad.
Present on the occasion were lead actress of the Narayani Shastri, Rajeshwari Sachdev , who is making guest appearance and music directors Sangeet and Siddharth Haldipur , who are making their debut through this film. Two of their songs were played on the occasion. The film’s lyrics are penned by Guru Thakur and Dr. Ganesh ChandanSheve, while popular singers from Bollywood, Shaan along with Divya Kumar, Keshab Barua , Nandini Sarkar & others have rendered their voices for the songs.
