Vaibhav, Sankarshan, Alok & Prajakta Mali trapped in ‘Teen Adkun Sitaram’
Ever since its announcement , Marathi film ‘Teen Adkun Sitaram’ is in the news , either for its unusual title or its star cast comprising of popular artistes like Vaibhav Tatvavadi, Sankarshan Karhade, Alok Rajwade & Prajakta Mali who are in the lead roles. Now, with the release of the film’s second poster, it is becoming very clear that this will be a comedy film, on the backdrop of cheating or fraud case, as the lead artistes are seen behind the bars and the others waiting outside with handcuffs in their hand.
Presented by Nitin Vaidya & Supreme Motion Pictures Pvt.Ltd and produced by Lalsaheb Shinde, Rajendra Shinde & Nitin Prakash Vaidya, this film is written and directed by Hrishikesh Joshi. Besides Vaibhav, sankarshan, Alok and Prajakta, this film also stars Gauri Deshpande, Anand Ingale, Samir Patil, Vijay Nikam & Hrishikesh Joshi in lead roles. Speaking about his film, director Hrishikesh Joshi says, “This is an entertaining comedy for the entire family and will keep the audience engaged to their seats. From our side, we have tried our 100% to give the best to the audience.Now, we are eager to know the reaction of the audience. This film will be released on 29th September 2023.
Prajakta Mali launches her own brand of Jewellery ‘PrajaktaRaj’
Popular Marathi actress Prajakta Mali known for her acting and anchoring talents, recently launched her own collection of traditional Maharashtrian Jewellery. Chief guest MNS Chief Raj Thackeray launched her brand collection ‘Prajaktaraj’ in Mumbai in presence of guest of honour renowned writer Vishwas Patil .
Speaking about her collection of Jewellery, Mr. raj Thackeray was all praise for her unique collection. “When I was shown this traditional collection, I was myself not aware of them. I appreciate her enthusiasm while presenting this rare collection,” he said. Mr. Vishwas Patil also praised Prajakta’s efforts in creating her own brand , while keeping the Maharashtriyan tradition alive.
Speaking on this occasion Prajakta said, “ I had never even thought that one day I would launch my own brand of jewellery. But, this new journey has begun. I have really workd very hard to lanch this collection. Many experts have helped me. Even the the brand name ‘PrajaktaRaj’ given to this collection is most suitable to keep the Maharashtrian tradition alive.
Mukta Barve receives spontaneous response from audience
Mukta Barve starrer Marathi film ‘Y’ has been receiving very good response from the audience especially in Pune. Ever since her film’s poster showing her carrying torch in her hand was released, her fans were curious to know about her character in this film. And now, after watching her protagonist character the audience seem to have convinced with the message offered by this film, through her strong character.
During one show of this film in Pune theatre, some women carried torch in their hands to show open support and solidarity to the lead character of this film played by Mukta Barve. This was happening for the first time in a cinema hall. Responding to this spontaneous reaction from the audience, Mukta Barve said, “This film speaks about a burning issue , which happens around us but majority of the people ignore these issues. The film has therefore tried to reach out to the people and invite their attention. Now, people are taking such issues seriously and this is our big achievement.”

Amruta Khanvilkar and Prajakta Mali come face to face in ‘Chandramukhi’
Marathi film ‘Chandramukhi (चंद्रमुखी)’ which is all set for release on 29th April is the topic of discussion among Marathi film lovers, as the promotion of this film has already impressed them. Now, the fresh talk is about the Lavani in this film, which is pictured on Amruta Khanvilkar and Prajakta Mali, who have come face to face for this musical jugalbandi.
This Lavani has lyrics by Guru Thakur with music composed by Ajay Atul. Singers like Madhura Datar, Priyanka Barve and Vishwajeet Borwankar have rendered their voices for this Lavani with choreography by Deepali Vichare. Mahesh Manjrekar unveils the poster of ‘Luckdown’
Poster of much awaited Marathi film ‘Luckdown (लकडाऊन)’ was recently unveiled by film maker Mahesh Manjrekar on the sets of ‘TV Show ‘Big Boss’, which is hosted by him. On this occasion, the entire team of ‘Luckdown’ was present. Mr. Manjrekar wished them luck. ‘Luckdown’ will be released during the new year on 28th January 2022 all over Maharashtra.

Starring Ankush Chaudhari and Prajakta Mali together for the first time, the poster of this film shows them as husband and wife. The entire shooting of this film was held Junnar at Kille Shivneri during the period of lockdown. Produced by Sharad Sonavane, Darshan Phulpagar, Ajit Sonpataki and Sagar Phulpagar, this film is directed by Santosh Manjrekar. Written by Ravindra Mathadhikari, the music of this film is composed by Avinash- Vishwajeet. Editing by Paresh Manjrekar, Choreography by Phulwa Khamkar and sound recording by Abhijit Deo, are other credits of this film.
‘Luckdown’ to be released on 28th January 2022
It seems that some Marathi film makers have preferred the ‘Wait n Watch’ policy during the month of December and have taken a decision to release their films during the new year 2022. One such film is ‘Luckdown … Be Positive (लकडाऊन)’ and makers of this film Sharad Sonavane, Ajit Sonpaatki and Sagar Fulpagar have announced the release date of their film on 28th January 2022.
Directed by Santosh Manjrekar, this fun filled film based on marriage preparations set on the backdrop of lockdown period, stars Ankush Choudhari and Prajakta Mali in the lead roles. Story of this film is written by Ravindra Mathadhikari and the entire film shooting has taken place at Fort Shivneri, Junnar. Music of this film is composed by Avinash Vishwajeet while Paresh Manjrekar has done the editing. Sound recording is by Abhijaat Deo and choreography is by Phulwa Khamkar.
Prajakta Mali releases her collection of Poems ‘Prajaktaprabha’
As an actress, dancer and anchor Prajakta Mali has already established herself in Marathi film and television industry. Now, she will be seen in a new role as a poet. Granthali have published collection of her poems and the same has been released at the hands of renowned poet and lyricist Praveen Davane. Present on this occasion as guests of honour were Amruta Khanvilkar, Pushkar Shrotri, Abhijit Panse and Akshay Bardapurkar.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Pravin Davane said, “The reason behind Prajakta to turn as a poet is hidden in her collection of poems. You will notice her sensitivity and softness of mind while reading her poems.” He also wished her all the success in her new journey as a poet. Reacting herself Prajakta said, “I was writing these poems not with the intention of posting them on social media or getting them published but was writing for myself. Never expected that it would turn into a collection and get published. So, it is a big surprise for me and I am happy that they found a publisher. “
This collection is of Marathi, English and Hindi poems written in simple language.
