‘Hashtag Prem’ getting ready for release on 17th December
With the passage of years, the love expressed has undergone many changes. No wonder, the titles of the films based on ‘love’ also try to speak the language of love. The forthcoming Marathi film ‘Hashtag Prem’ is therefore expected to give a similar experience. This film’s release, which had been postponed for a long period of time because of the lockdown and the pandemic, is now all set to be released on 17 December, 2021
Produced by Anil Govind Patil under the banner of Mauli Film Productions, this film will be distributed by Sameer Dixit and Rishikesh Bhirangi under their banner Pickle Entertainment & Coproduced by Arvind Govind Patil. The interesting trailer of the film had received good response in the form of huge appreciation. Rajesh Balkrishna Jadhav has directed this film. The extraordinary chemistry between the brand new pair of Mitali Mayekar and Suyash Tilak is expected to be the biggest attraction.
According to director Rajesh Balkrishna Jadhav, once again the entire team of the film ‘Hashtag Prem’ is busy with its efforts to release the film. Love is a subject which is loved by all kinds of spectators right from the youth to the older generation. Jadhav has also expressed his opinion that with a blend of brilliant lyrics and music, The story and the screenplay of the film have been penned by Nikhil Katare, while Raja Phadtare has cranked the camera as the DOP for the film. Lyrics penned by Sanjali Rode and Kautuk Shirodkar have been set to music by composer Pravin Kuwar. Singer cum music director Rohit Raut has scored the background music. Keshav Thakur is the art director while Mahesh Bharambe is the Executive Producer of this film.
‘Hashtag Prem’ready with trailer, to be released on 19th March
In today’s age of social media, the language employed by the youth has also undergone a rapid change radically. Director Rajesh Balkrishna Patil says that the film needed the casting of a fresh new pair and that was the reason that he had opted to cast talented actors like Mitali Mayekar and Suyash Tilak for his film. As the film has been targeted towards the youth and as the title itself reveals, the plus point of the film is its young new pair. Nikhil Katare has written the story as well as the screenplay. Pravin kuwar has composed the songs which have been crooned by Rohit Raut, who has also scored the background music for the film. Raja Phadtare is the DOP. “Hashtag Prem” is slated for release all over Maharashtra on March 19th, 2021.

Singer Savani Ravindra makes her debut in acting
Marathi playback singers turning towards acting is not new to all of us, as Ketaki Mategaonkar has been doing this balancing act successfully. Now, another popular singer from Marathi Savani Ravindra has also made her acting debut recently, through a web series ‘Galimaar’ on youtube , produced by Aditi Dravid. In this web series she has performed with popular television actor Suyash Tilak.
Speaking about her acting debut, Singer Savani Ravindra says, “I have always given top priority to singing and have been rejecting acting offers coming to me. But, when my old friend Aditi Dravid approached me with this offer, I could not say ‘no’ to her. It was all because of our good friendship. Moreover, Suyash has been my friend since my college days and hence there was no tension while acting. Actually, it was a good experience and I enjoyed it.”
‘Runji’ fame Pallavi Patil to return on small screen with ‘Baapmanus’
Forthcoming Marathi serial ‘Baapmanus’ on Zee Yuva has been creating a buzz on social networking sites. Thanks to the efforts made by actor Suyash Tilak, who is also part of this serial in an important role. Another highlight of this serial is return of ‘Runji’ serial fame Pallavi Patil who will also be seen in a lead role. It may be recalled that Pallavi had won the hearts of thousands of home viewers earlier, playing the title role of Runji. The talented actress will now be returning to small screen, with another challenging role, to prove her mettle.
Besides Pallavi and Suyash, this serial also stars versatile artistes like Ravindra Mankani, Pooja Pawar, Ajay Purkar, Sangram Samel, Sanjay Kulkarni, Shivraj Valvekar, & Namrata Awte in lead roles. Along with them there are other artistes like Abhijit Shwetchandra, Aishwarya Tupe, Abhilasha Patil, Anand Prabhu, Shruti Atre, Jyoti Patil, Amol Deshmukh and child artiste Maithili Patwardhan. Suyash Tilak plays female character for Santosh Kolhe’s Web series
Santosh Kolhe along with Shridhar Chitnis have launched an entertainment channel ‘Virus Marathi‘ on you tube which presents two web series ‘Awesome Twosome‘ and ‘Shock Katha‘ and they have been receiving good response. Recently, Santosh Kolhe auditioned seven artistes chosen for his web series in different characters and Suyash Tilak was asked to perform a young lady from respected family and his new look has been captured in the video.
The other six artistes working in the web series are, Samir Patil, Sharmila Shinde, Chhaya Kadam, Richa Agnihotri, Akshay Shimpi and Chaitanya Sardeshpande. The script for all these seven characters who will now play different characters has been written by writer Mukesh Machkar. Presently, the previous episodes of these two web series of Virus Marathi are receiving good response from young viewers on you tube.
‘Sakhya Re’ all set to air on Colors Marathi from 9th January
Based on the story idea of ‘Eka Pahatechi Don Swapna- Ek Purna Tar Ek Apoorna‘ , (which in English means ‘Two types of dreams seen during early morning hours- One Complete and one incomplete’) a new Marathi serial ‘Sakhya Re‘ written by Chinmay Mandlekar and produced by Blue Well Media is all set to air on Colors Marathi, from Monday 9th January 2017.
Highlights of ‘Sakhya Re‘ serial are, veteran actress Rohini Hattangadi returns to small screen with lead role, while popular television actor Suyash Tilak will also seen in the lead role along with Ruchi Savarn and newcomer Dnyanada Ramtirthkar. The other artistes of this serial are, Ajay Purkar, Meena Naik, Vivek Apte, Ashwini Kulkarni & Rahul Mehendale. As claimed by the makers, the serial will connect very strongly with home viewers. In the recent past, Colors Marathi has offered variety of popular serials and programmes like ‘Ganapati Bappa Morya‘, ‘Asa Sasar Surekh Bai‘, and ‘Kon Hoil Marathi Crorepati‘ and therefore there are big expectations from this serial too.
