‘Vitthala Shappath’ to present a new pair
Not only Bollywood but even Marathi film industry has offered many new lead pairs , which later turned out to be hit pairs on big screen. Now, writer – director Chandrakant Pawar who will be presenting a new lead pair of Vijay Sairaj and Krutika Gaikwad through his forthcoming Marathi film ‘Vitthala Shappath‘, which is all set to release on 15th September 2017. This is the first film of Vijay and Krutika together. While Krutika has some experience of acting, for Vijay has faced the camera for the first time, through this film.
While Vijay plays the character of Krushna, Krutika is playing the character of Nayna. The film ‘Vitthala Shappath‘ presents the story of a father and son and is set on the backdrop of faith in Lord Vitthala by his true devotee. The director was in search of a new face to play this young hero and he found his choice in Vijay. Besides Vijay Sairaj and Krutika Gaikwad, the film also stars Mangesh Desai, Anuradha Rajadhyaksha, Uday Sabnis, Vidyadhar Joshi, Sanjay Khapre, Anshuman Vichare, Ketan Pawar, Vijay Nikam, Pranav Raorane and Rajesh Bhosale. Chinar- Mahesh have composed the music of this film.
‘तू माझा सांगाती’ मालिकेमध्ये भरत जाधव विठ्ठलाच्या भूमिकेत
‘तू माझा सांगाती’ मालिकेमध्ये प्रेक्षकांना तुकारामांची विठूरायावर असलेली निस्सीम भक्ती बघायला मिळाली. आता मालिकेचे नवे पर्व सुरु होणार आहे पहील्यांदाच महाराष्ट्राचा लाडका अभिनेता म्हणजेच भरत जाधव विठ्ठ्लाच्या भूमिकेत तर स्मिता शेवाळे रखुमाईच्या भूमिकेत दिसणार आहे.
विठ्ठल म्हणजे कृष्णाचं रूप, पण यामागे देखील आख्यायिका आहे. असे म्हणतात कि, रुक्मिणी काही कारणास्तव कृष्णावर रुसली आणि द्वारिका सोडून पृथ्वीतलावर आली. आपल्या रुसलेल्या पत्नीच्या शोधात कृष्ण विठू रायाच रूप घेऊन पृथ्वीवर आला. पण, नव्या रुपात समोर उभ्या ठाकलेल्या कृष्णाला रुक्मिणी ओळखूच शकली नाही. आपल्या चतुर बोलण्याने विठ्ठ्लाने रुक्मिणीचे मन जिंकले आणि तिचा सखा बनला.
‘तू माझा सांगाती’ पर्व दुसरे या मालिकेविषयी बोलताना कलर्स मराठी प्रमुख Viacom18 निखील साने म्हणाले, “रंगमंच्याचा हुकमी एक्का ठरलेला, तसेच निव्वळ विनोदच नव्हे तर आशयपूर्ण भूमिकादेखील तितक्याच ताकदीने साकारलेला कलाकार म्हणजे भरत जाधव. कुठलीही भूमिका सहज, सुंदरपणे साकारून प्रेक्षकांच्या हृदयात स्थान मिळवणे हा भरतचा हातखंड आहे“.
या मालिके विषयी बोलताना भरत जाधव म्हणाले, “मी खूप खुश आहे कि, मला ही भूमिका साकारण्याची सुवर्णसंधी मिळाली. कलर्स मराठीकडून जशी ही भूमिका माझ्याकडे आली मी लगेच माझा होकार कळवला. याच महत्वाचं कारण असं कि, आमच्या घरी गेल्या बऱ्याच वर्षांपासून गोकुळाष्टमीचा सण साजरा केला जातो“. तेंव्हा बघायला विसरू नका ‘तू माझा सांगाती’ पर्व दुसरे – विठ्ठल रखुमाईची संसारगाथा ६ सप्टेंबर पासून सोम ते शनि संध्या ७.३० वा. फक्त कलर्स मराठीवर.
Mukta Barve grabs all the attention in ongoing TV serial ‘Rudram’
Many a times the selection of a particular artiste for an important role makes a big difference in popularizing a TV serial. And, if that artiste is a popular star, the viewership of the serial certainly goes up. At present, popular actress Mukta Barve is grabbing all the attention in Zee Yuva‘s ongoing suspense filled TV serial ‘Rudram‘. Playing the role of Ragini, a young widow who has lost her family except her mother in a car accident, Mukta perfectly fits into the character of an angry young woman.
But, what is important is that the character penned by the writer Girish Jayant Joshi is tailor made for talented actress like Mukta and she has given full justice to that character in few initial episodes telecast so far, since its beginning three weeks ago. In every scene she appeared, she seemed totally involved into this character of Ragini, who doesn’t think anything else than revenge against all those evil people, behind the murder of her family members. Girish Jayant Joshi who has written the story has also penned the screenplay and dialogues of this serial directed by Bhimrao Mude.
Besides Mukta Barve, there are renowned artistes like Dr.Mohan Agashe, Vandana Gupte, Mitali Jagtap, Sandeep Pathak, Sagar Talashikar and above all Suhas Palshikar in equally important roles. Looking at the instant popularity of ‘Rudram‘ serial, the makers had telecast 3 hours special show, covering all the past happenings on 27th August 2017 and that gave an impression of a suspense filled murder mystery. However, when we watch a particular episode, we find very little happenings in that half an hour long episode, with commercial breaks. Why can’t the makers think of playing one hour long episode? Even otherwise, this serial is limited to 60 episodes and some more actors like Kiran Karmarkar are yet to appear.
Will ‘Bandookya’ deliver the social message effectively ?
We are all aware that the Nomadic Tribes and Denotified Tribes consist of about 60 million people in our country, out of which about five million live in the state of Maharashtra. There are 315 Nomadic Tribes and 198 Denotified Tribes. Now, there is one particular tribe ‘Pardhi‘ in Maharashtra, which is part of Nomadic tribes and not much of attention has been paid towards their reforms from the traditional old practices observed by them.
But, when it comes to inviting attention of the people towards the most neglected tribes in our society, our Marathi films play a very important role. In the past, there have been award winning films like ‘Khwada‘, ‘Fandry‘ and few others, which have not only invited the attention of audience but also our Government. This Friday release film ‘Bandookya‘ also revolves around the lifestyle of one such ‘Pardhi‘ community under the Nomadic tribes in Maharashtra.
Produced by Rajendra Borse and Pratibha Borse and directed by Rahul Manohar Chaudhari, the film will present the problems faced by a particular tribe . With a combination of some versatile and new artistes, it remains to be seen, how the writer director is able to present the subject effectively. But, there is certainly some hope from talented actor like Shashank Shende, who was also part of award winning Marathi film ‘Khwada‘ which was also based on a similar subject. The film’s music is by Parikshit Bhatkhande with popular singers like Javed Ali, Mahalaxmi Iyer and Adarsh Shinde having rendered their voices for the songs in this film.
By the way, ‘Bandookya‘ is the only Marathi film releasing after a long break of two weeks. And, this film has already received awards at the Maharashtra State awards. So, it remains to be seen, whether ‘Bandookya‘ will deliver the social message effectively ?
‘विठ्ठला शप्पथ’ या चित्रपटात पहायला मिळणार एक नवी कोरी जोडी
गुरुदर्शन फिल्म्स आणि पहेल प्रोडक्शन एल.एल.पी यांची निर्मिती असलेल्या ‘विठ्ठला शप्पथ’ या चित्रपटातही प्रेक्षकांना एक नवी कोरी जोडी पहायला मिळणार असून हा चित्रपट येत्या १५ सप्टेंबरला आपल्या मनोरंजनासाठी येत आहे.
चंद्रकांत पवार दिग्दर्शित ‘विठ्ठला शप्पथ‘ या चित्रपटाच्या निमित्ताने विजय साईराज आणि कृतिका गायकवाड ही जोडी प्रथमच एकत्र आली आहे. या चित्रपटामध्ये पवार यांनी विठ्ठलाच त्याच्या भक्ताशी असलेलं भावनिक नातं अधोरेखित केलं आहे. वडील आणि मुलगा यांच्यातील नात्यावर आधारित असलेल्या या चित्रपटात मुलाची भूमिका साकारण्यासाठी एका नव्या चेहऱ्याची गरज होती. ऑडीशनद्वारे बऱ्याच जणांचा शोध घेतला पण हवा तसा चेहरा दिग्दर्शकांना मिळत नव्हता. मात्र ओळखीतून विजयचं नाव समोर आलं.
दिग्दर्शनासोबतच चंद्रकांत पवार यांनीच ‘विठ्ठला शप्पथ‘ चित्रपटाची कथा-पटकथा लिहिली असून, विजय-कृतिका या जोडीसोबत या चित्रपटात मंगेश देसाई, अनुराधा राजाध्यक्ष, उदय सबनीस, विद्याधर जोशी, संजय खापरे, अंशुमन विचारे, विजय निकम, प्रणव रावराणे, या कलाकारांच्याही भूमिका आहेत. राहुल देशपांडे, स्वप्नील बांदोडकर, आनंदी जोशी, आदर्श शिंदे, प्रवीण कुवर या मराठीतील आघाडीच्या गायकांच्या आवाजात या चित्रपटातील गीतरचना रसिकांना ऐकायला मिळणार आहेत. मंगेश कागणे, क्षितीज पटवर्धन यांनी लिहिलेल्या गीतांना चिनार-महेश या मराठी चित्रपटसृष्टीतील सध्याच्या आघाडीच्या संगीतकार जोडीने संगीत व पार्श्वसंगीत दिलं आहे.
‘छंद प्रितीचा’ चित्रपटाचे पोस्टर लाँच

या चित्रपटाचं लेखन आणि दिग्दर्शन एन. रेळेकर यांनी केलं असून चित्रपटनिर्मिती चंद्रकांत जाधव यांनी केली आहे. छायाचित्रदिग्दर्शन जितेंद्र आचरेकर यांचं असून संगीत दिग्दर्शन प्रविण कुंवर यांनी केलं आहे. प्रेमला पिक्चर्स निर्मित ‘छंद प्रितीचा’ हा चित्रपट येत्या 10 नोव्हेंबर ला संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात प्रदर्शित होणार आहे.
Marathi celebrities spread the message of Eco Friendly Ganapati
We are all aware that actress Sai Tamhankar is doing a commendable work of preparing the idol of eco friendly Ganapati and later converting it into a a small tree after immersing it into a an earthenware pot . The concept was designed by artiste Dattadri Kothur and Sai has promoted it this year. Those who have taken this idol home, are happy with the entire eco friendly process.
Another Marathi actor who has prepared Ganapati idol himself is Rakesh Bapat. This is also Eco Ganapati made of soft sand found at the bottom of the river. He has painted it with natural colours. Rakesh Bapat whose Marathi film ‘Rajan‘ will be released soon, has appealed to all the devotees of Ganapati to spread the concept of Eco Friendly Ganapati idols.
Marathi actress Shubhangi Latkar has also opted for Eco Friendly Ganapati . She has even avoided use of plastic and thermocol material in the decoration around Ganapati idol. Another popular Marathi actress Sonalee Kulkarni has also preferred eco friendly tiny idol of Ganapati . She spends 12 days with her family in Pune to celebrate this festival and immerses the idol in the artificial Pond created by the Municipal Corporation near her house at Nigdi, Pune. Actor Gashmeer Mahajani also believes in Eco friendly Ganapati idol. Gashmeer himself performs Pooja and stays at home during the festival.
Music and Trailer launched for the film ‘Anaan’
Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Anaan‘ which presents Prarthana Behere in her new look, recently launched the Trailer and music at a grand ceremony held recently. Producers Raunak Bhatia & Hemant Bhatia of Rohan Theatres were present on the occasion along with director of this film Rajesh Kushte. The other artistes of this film, namely Omkar Shinde, Sukhada Khandkekar, Suyog Gorhe, Yatin Karyekar, Rajendra Shirsatkar, Uday Sabnis, Uday Nene were also present on this occasion apart from other special invitees.
The trailer of ‘Anaan‘ film clearly indicated that the film was offering a new subject. Music directors Saurabh-Durgesh have also offered a different style of music, with Sonu Nigam, Anandi Joshi, Ravindra Sathe & Saurabh Shetye rendering their voices for the melodious songs in this film. Out of 5 songs in this film, three songs penned by Rajesh Kushte were launched on this occasion. The film is ready for release all over Maharashtra soon.
New Marathi film ‘Hero’ offers song on Ganapati for the fest
Come Ganapati festival and every film maker wants to take advantage of the festival time to release the song from his film, so as to popularise during the festive mood. RPG Productions and Rajashree Gaikwad also released a song on Ganapati ‘Sukhakarta Tu Dukhharta…‘ from their forthcoming film ‘Hero‘, keeping in mind the mood of people during coming Ganapati festival. The song is rendered by Aman Trikha on the music of Ankit Shah.
Written by Kaustubh Pant, the choreography of this song is done by Firoz Khan and is picturised on actors Bhushan Patil, Kunal Shinde and actress Vaishnavi Karmarkar. Since this song has been released well in time before the coming Ganapati festival, the biggest festival in Maharashtra, director of the film ‘Hero‘ N.N.Siddiqui is confident that it will generate a lot of interest among devotees of Lord Ganapati.
After ‘Chaurya’ Sameer Asha Patil to direct film ‘Phurrr’
Eeffronn Entertainment headed by Mr. Kushal and Mr. Anirudh Singh are entering into Marathi film industry with their film titled ‘Phurrr’, which will be a content driven film by Sameer Asha Patil, after making his debut as a director through previous film ‘Chaurya’. Speaking about their film, producer Kushal said “Entertainment has two geners , one is pure entertainment and other is thought provoking entertainment which makes the audiences to think.”
While contemplating their first venture, they were searching for a director who has his own unique, creative and entertaining style of presentation on screen. Accordingly they met Sameer. During narration it was felt the Story of ‘Phurrr’ is not regular ‘run of the mill’ type. The story is written by Mehul Agaja. Sameer has a good grasp and vision which he proved already. That’s why we thought of debuting into Mararthi feature film with Sameer as his fourth Marathi Film. The film will be on floor soon.
