‘गोठ’ या मालिकेत नीलकांती पाटेकर साकारतायत ‘बयो आजी’
ज्येष्ठ अभिनेत्री नीलकांती पाटेकर आता छोट्या पडद्यावर पदार्पण करत आहेत. स्टार प्रवाह वाहिनी वरील ‘गोठ ‘ या नव्या मालिकेत त्या ‘बयो आजी’ ही करारी व्यक्तिरेखा साकारताना दिसणार आहेत.
आजही आपल्या समाजात पुरुषसत्ताक संस्कृती असताना या मालिकेतून ‘स्त्रीचे निर्णय तिच्याच हाती ‘ हा विचार मांडण्यात आला आहे. फिल्मफार्म निर्मित या मालिकेचे दिग्दर्शन विघ्नेश कांबळे करत आहेत. कथानकाला असलेली तळकोकणाची पार्श्वभूमी, तिथली संस्कृती, संस्थानिक घराण्यांचा प्रभाव, बदलते कोकणी जनमानस आणि युवापिढी हे या मालिकेचं वेगळेपण ठरणार आहे.
नीलकांती पाटेकर यांनी पूर्वी दोन टीव्ही मालिकांची निर्मिती केली. चित्रपट, रंगभूमीवर काम केलं. मात्र ‘गोठ ‘ ही त्यांची अभिनेत्री म्हणून पहिलीच मालिका आहे. “दर तीन चार महिन्यांनी मला मालिका करण्याबाबत विचारणा व्हायची. मात्र, एकही भूमिका मला पसंत पडली नाही. टीआरपीच्या गणितानुसार व्यक्तिरेखा बदलणं मला पटत नाही. मला रोबोसारखं काम करायचं नव्हतं. त्यामुळे चांगली भूमिका ही माझी मुख्य गरज होती. ‘गोठ ‘ या मालिकेसाठी विचारणा झाली. भूमिका संवेदनशील होती. कथानक समजून घेतल्यावर आणि दिग्दर्शकाशी बोलल्यावर काहीतरी वेगळं करण्याची ही संधी वाटल्यानं ही मालिका स्वीकारली,”असं त्यांनी सांगितलं.
“या व्यक्तिरेखेला अनेक पैलू आहेत. मालिकेतली प्रत्येक व्यक्तिरेखा वेगळ्या पद्धतीनं लिहिली आहे. सिनेमॅटिक पद्धतीनं मालिका होणं हे खूप वेगळं आहे. या मालिकेच्या संपूर्ण टीमला नेमकं काय करायचं हे माहीत आहे. त्यामुळे कथानक खूप वेगळ्या पद्धतीनं समोर येणार आहे. या मालिकेत काम करताना मला वेगळे काम केल्याचे समाधान मिळते आहे. अशी वेगळ्या पद्धतीची मालिका केल्याबद्दल स्टार प्रवाहचं कौतुक करावंसं वाटतं. प्रेक्षकांनाही ही मालिका नक्की आवडेल,” असं त्यांनी आवर्जून सांगितलं.
Hansraj Jagtap and Rajeshwari Kharat together in ‘Itemgiri’
Both of them have been part of national award winning films. While Hansraj Jagtap won national special jury award for best child actor, Rajeshwari Kharat was part of the film ‘Fandry’, which won national award for the film’s director on debut. Though Hansraj had plenty of scope to prove his talent in ‘Dhag’, Rajeshwari didn’t have much to do in ‘Fandry’. But now, both these teenagers have been brought together in a so called different love story, through the film ‘Item Girl’.
Recently, the first teaser of this film has been released on social networking sites and it clearly gives an indication that it has much more than only the love story. After the success of ‘Sairat’, now, Marathi film makers are also paying attention on the subjects of teenagers, on the rural backdrop. And, hence ‘Itemgiri’ is just another example. Produced by Amit Taware, Pradeep Beldare and Santosh kadam, it is directed by Pradeep Tonge and Mangesh Shendge. DOP Vikas Singh, music by P.Shankaran , background music by Rohit Nagbhide are other credits.
Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati 3 to offer chat lifeline to contestants

With another game show ‘Vikta Ka Uttar‘ also to be aired next week on Star Pravah Channel , it remains to be seen, which show will attain big success.
Akshay Kumar & Dimple Kapadia release music of ‘Kaul Manacha’
Bollywood celebrities releasing music CD of a Marathi film is not new to Marathi film industry. In the past, many Bollywood personalities like Subhash Ghai, Rishi Kapoor, Jitendra, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Boney Kapoor, Sridevi and others have attended such functions with their presence as chief guests. Now, it was the turn of Akshay Kumar and his mother in law Dimple Kapadia coming together, to release the music of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Kaul Manacha‘ at a Juhu hotel yesterday afternoon.
Speaking on this occasion, Akshay Kumar recalled his schooldays, after watching the trailer of ‘Kaul Manacha‘ film and narrated one such incidence in his school life, when he was debarred from school for two days, for expressing his love openly. He also appreciated Marathi films and stated that there was more profit and less loss in production of Marathi films. Ms. Dimple Kapadia also wished this film all success and said that the audience would also appreciate this film.

‘Prem Sankat’ promises an absorbing love story
If given an opportunity new artistes can also prove their ability. This has been experienced in few films of the recent past. Actually, making a film with new artistes is a risk; but, some film makers do accept this risk. Producer Diksha Yuvraj Surwade has taken this risk by presenting five newcomers through her forthcoming film ‘Prem Sankat’, which is all set to release on 14th October 2016.
This love story of this film revolving around two boys and three girls is written and directed by Datta Mirkute and all the five songs in this film composed by music director Vishal Wankhede are receiving good response. They are rendered by popular singers like Sadhna sargam, Anand Shinde, Adarsh Shinde, Amir Shaikh, Nisha Bhagat and Pratibha Bagel.
The newcomers in this film are, Raj Surwade, Monalisa Bagal, Rahul Bhise, Ankita Parmar, Damini Dolas, who will be performing along with senior artistes like Nishigandha wad, Satish Pulekar, Latika Gore, Rajendra Shisatkar & Yatin Karyekar. Ravi Bhat has done the cinematography of this film.
Pushkar Shrotri presents Team ‘Ghantaa’ in a humorous way
Known for his humorous way of entertaining the audience, as an anchor Pushkar Shrotri is a popular choice at many events of Marathi entertainment. On Wednesday evening, he played that role, while introducing the lead artistes of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Ghantaa‘ produced by Nitin Vaidya, Ninad Vaidya, Shailesh Kale & Rohit Shetty and directed by Shailesh Kale. The three lead artistes of the film who were targeted on this occasion were Amey Wagh, Saksham Kulkarni & Aroh Velankar. They were later joined by leading lady of the film Anuja Sathe Gokhale.
During this function, those special invitees who toasted the three lead artistes were Mahesh Manjrekar, Amruta Khanvilkar, Amruta Subhash, Jitendra Joshi and Pushkar Shrotri himself. Ramesh Bhatkar & Ashok Shinde together in Marathi film ‘Charlie is back’
Ramesh Bhatkar and Ashok Shinde are two veterans of Marathi film industry. But, they are still evergreen and fit enough to perform any type of role. We have witnessed their enthusiasm in recently concluded Marathi TV serial ‘Majhe Pati Soubhagyavati‘. Now, both of them will be seen together in prominent roles in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Charlie Is Back‘, muhurat of which was performed with the blessings of Lalbaugcha Raja,during the auspicious Ganapati festival.
Directed by Prakash Bhalekar, his film will be a tribute to world famous actor Charlie Chaplin and hence will offer complete entertainment, according to the makers. Besides Ashok Shinde and Ramesh Bhatkar the film also stars Sushant Shelar, Pooja Sawant, Sara Shravan, Rupesh Palav and Junior Charlie in lead roles. Music release of film ‘Rairand’ held in Chinchwad
We have been hearing about music releases of Marathi films either being held in Mumbai, Pune or other big cities of Maharashtra. But, the music release of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Rairand‘ was held in Chinchwad, Pune, that too on the platform of Pimpri Chinchwad Mahanagar Salesman Union. While releasing the music of this film, Beti Bachao Andolan Chief Dr. Ganesh Rakh said that if the child labour turn towards education, after watching this film, it will be a biggest award for this film, which will be much bigger than the Oscars. Many dignitaries along with the entire star cast of this film were present on this occasion.
‘Rairand‘ has been produced by New Talent Search Movies and Samruddhi Movies and was shot in Puntamba in Nagar District of Maharashtra. The film throws light on the lives of Wanderers and child labourers in Maharashtra . There are two songs in this film, penned by Ashish Ningurkar and Bhavesh Londhe and music has been provided by Vikas Joshi. The film stars Anant Jog, Ranjit Kamble, Shyamkumar Shrivastav, Ashish Ningurkar, Karan Kadam, Anand Wagh, Ajit Pawar, Pravin Bhabal, Sunil Jain, Suresh Dabhade, Rekha Nirmal, Gorakh Pathare, Zakir Khan, Nana Shinde, Santosh Choradia and Anurag Ningurkar.
Speaking about this film, writer Asish Ningurkar said, “Music plays very important role in Marathi films. And I am sure, the two songs in this film would appeal to the audience. Subject of this film being on social issue, we will be visiting foreign countries, to create awareness about this film’s subject among Marathi people living abroad. “
Actress Amruta Patki to give science lessons
Glamorous actress & Miss India 2006 Amruta Patki is now days busy giving science lessons to students, to create interest in them about this subject. This is part of promotion of her forthcoming Marathi film ‘Kaul Manacha‘ , which is all set to release on 21st October 2016. The film is being produced by Shree Sadichha Films , presented by Red Berry Entertainment and directed by Bhimrao Mude.
Speaking about her role in ‘Kaul Manacha’ film, Amruta Patki says, “My character in this film has a different shade. I am playing a teacher, who is trying her best to understand the inclination of the children in different fields. Proper counselling is necessary, to understand their interests. The film makes a statement about this issue, which is so relevant.”

Now, Nitin Manmohan will also produce a Marathi film
After witnessing Bollywood bigwigs like Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ajay Devgan and Priyanka Chopra entering production of Marathi film, now popular Bollywood film maker Nitin Manmohan has also decided to make a Marathi film. Nitin had earlier produced super hit Bollywood films like ‘Baghi‘, ‘Laadla‘,’Bol Radha Bol‘,’Bhoot‘,’Yamla Pagla Deewana‘, ‘Dus‘ and others.
Through his ‘One Up Productions‘ Nitin Manmohan is all set to launch new faces in the star cast of this forthcoming Marathi film . At present the production is in search of these faces.
