After a long time, veteran actor of several films in Hindi as well as Marathi, Mohan Joshi will be seen in producer Dr Vimal Raj Mathur’s upcoming Marathi film ‘Abhaya’. The second shooting schedule of the film is going on in Mumbai swiftly, where several scenes featuring Mohan Joshi. Incidentally, Mohan Joshi is leading a calm and serene life in lush greenery in Pune, far away from the crowded city of Mumbai.

Producer Rupesh D. Gohil said that Mohan Joshi is essaying a very central character in the film ‘Abhaya’. “The plot of the film revolves around the character of Mohan Joshi. We went to meet him personally to his farmhouse in Pune and narrated to him the story of ‘Abhaya’ and he liked the shades and layers of the story and readily agreed to act in the film. Mohan Joshi came especially to shoot for the film from Pune to Mumbai.” he said.

Mohan Joshi stated that he is extremely happy to be a part and parcel of the Marathi film ‘Abhaya’. “I play a negative role with grey shades in the film, which has a plot that will shock the viewers . I appeal to the viewers to go and see ‘Abhaya’ as and when it is released very shortly.”

This Marathi crime thriller ‘Abhaya’ is being produced under the banner of Gradiente Infotainment Limited and RDG Production Private Limited . ‘Drishyam’ fame Kamlesh Sawant is essaying the role of constable Sawant, whereas Yogita Bhosle is playing the role of Savitri in the film, written and directed by Yusuf Surti. The other artistes of this film are, Harsha Nikam , Shraddha Wagh and Arohi Bhoir while Vimal Mishra is the cinematographer.

Producer of ‘Abhaya’ Dr. Vimal Raj Mathur said that many projects are coming under his banner Gradiente infotainment limited. He is also coming up with an OTT platform, business channel and music channel soon. Producer Rupesh D Gohil said that the shooting of the first schedule of the film has been completed while the second and final schedule will be shot next month. The film is planned to be released in Marathi, Hindi and South languages on the occasion of Vijaya Dashmi.

Story of ‘Abhaya’ is about Savitri, a rural housewife who is troubled by her crooked husband. You will have to watch the film to know how Savitri copes with these circumstances and what happens in the end. In this film, Drishyam fame Kamlesh Sawant has played the role of Constable Sawant, while Yogita Bhosle will be seen in the role of Savitri.

The film is written and directed by Yusuf Surti. Among the rest of the actors in the film, the names of Harsha Nikam, Shraddha Wagh and Aarohi Bhoir are notable. The music of the film is composed by R.P Soni and the cinematographer is Vimal Mishra.
