Aakash Thosar, Sayali Patil in Movie ‘Ghar Banduk Biryani’

According to Music director Prafullchandra, “All the romantic songs from Nagraj Manjule  films  are heart touching and every frame of the song is beautiful. Therefore I have tried to make the wordings of this song more melodious. You will experience this through this song.”

Nagraj Manjule was also all praise for music director Prafullchandra. “ He has really worked very hard for the past four years for the songs of this film. I feel that music is the soul of the film. Whatever we cannot explain through story, can be explained through music. And Prafullchandra has done this through his music. I am sure the audience would appreciate the songs.” This film will be released on 7^th April 2023.

Much talked about Marathi film ‘Ghar Banduk Biryani’ by Nagraj Manjule produced in association with Zee Studios is getting ready for release during the new year 2023. The shooting of this film has been completed. In the past Nagraj Manjule and Zee Studios had made successful films like ‘Fandry’, ’Sairat’ and ‘Naal’ and therefore there is a lot of curiosity about this film’s subject. Though Nagraj Manjule has produced this film, he will not be directing it. The film is directed by Hemant Jangal Awtade. But, Nagraj Manjule will be playing an important role of a Policeman in this film.

Along with Nagraj, the film also stars Sayaji Shinde and Aakash Thosar in lead roles with others.This film will be released simultaneously in Marathi, Hindi Tamil and Telugu languages. Speaking about his film, Nagraj Manjule says, “ I have worked with Zee Studios in the past and my experience of working with them was very satisfying. I am happy for having completed the shooting of this film, but at the same time I have turned emotional for having spent so many days together with my unit. Sometimes, before the release of a film, a lot of buzz is created through the clever strategy adopted by the makers of that film. Actually, the live launch of the teaser was held in Mumbai previous evening, in presence of artistes and other unit members of ‘F.U.- Friendship Unlimited’ film. Aakash Thosar, who attained popularity after release of his debut film ‘Sairat‘ is now getting ready with his second Marathi film ‘F.U.‘ s release on 2^nd June 2017. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the film’s teaser poster was released recently by Bollywood star Salman Khan. The poster of the film clearly indicates that it is a style film of the popular hero for the youth.

According to the makers of  ‘F.U.’ film, the next poster of the film will be released on social networking sites on 14^th April 2017 at 11.35 am. Now, it remains to be seen, whether Aakash Thosar will be seen in his new look on this poster. Even otherwise, this film has raised high expectations from the Marathi film lovers. By the way, there are other artistes in the film, but the focus is only on Aakash Thosar.

After earning 85Cr. Till date, Marathi film ‘Sairat’ has turned out to be the biggest blockbuster in Marathi. With this success, ‘Sairat’ has also recorded highest grosser film in all languages in Maharashtra. And, this is a big news for Marathi cinema. Makers of ‘Sairat’ had another feather in their cap, when during the success party held on Saturday evening in Mumbai, Zee studios, the host, introduced well known South Indian film producer Mr. Venkatesh, who has agreed to make ‘Sairat’ in all the four south Indian languages. Beginning with telugu version , which is to be directed by Nagraj Manjule, Mr. Venkatesh was all praise for music directors Ajay Atul, for their wonderful music.

The south Indian versions of this film are to be jointly produced by Zee Studios, with Mr. Venkatesh. Zee Group, also made another good announcement on this occasion, about election of their chairman, Mr. Subhash Chandra to Rajya Sabha. Mr. Sachin Pilgaonkar, who was the guest of honour, was all praise for the film and expressed his happiness, over the achievements made by the film and greeted Mr. Nagraj Manjule . The lead pair of Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru were the main attraction at the function, as even the hotel staff, where the function was held, were busy clicking their photos. Also present on the occasion were, director Ravi Jadhav, Aditya Sarpotdar, Ankush Choudhari, Amruta Khanvilkar, Adinath Kothare, Urmila Kothare, besides the entire star cast of the film.
