Two talented actresses of Marathi film industry namely Sonalee Kulkarni and Amruta Subhash will be coming together for the first time, through forthcoming Marathi film ‘Parinati – Badal Swatahsathi‘ . Produced by Parag Mehta and Harsh Narula and directed by Akshay Balsaraf, this film is ready for release on 1st August 2025.

The poster of this film ‘Parinati’, which was released recently on social media, shows two women on the backdrop of a Bar, shows two women from different background in close relationship. One of them sitting on a bench with colourful costumes and bold looks, while the other woman with simple looks, sitting on the ground and resting her head on her legs. With this there itself, the poster of this film has already raised a lot of curiosity among the film lovers.

Producer Paraag Mehta, who is also renowned casting director of Bollywood films, therefore feels that regional films will also have to depend on OTT platform, as an alternative to get their films released. “Somebody had to take the lead and I have done so, by taking this decision to release this Marathi film ‘Parinati’ through OTT platform . And we have been receiving positive response . Very soon we will announce the date of release.” he said.

This film stars Amruta Subhash, Sonalee Kulkarni and Akshar Kothari in the lead roles and is directed by debutante Akshay Balsaraf.

‘Zund’ Marathi play, Actor Kiran Mane

Kiran Mane has always kept a low profile. Having started his acting career through experimental theatre, Kiran came to Mumbai from Satara via Pune , when he broke the journey to join the theatre of workshop of Pt. Satyadev Dubey . Thereafter, he began his journey on stage with  ‘Gandhi Virrudh Gandhi’, ‘Manomilan’, ‘Wada Chirebandi’. Later, with sensational Marathi play ‘Govind Ghya Kuni Gopal Ghya’, ‘Maayleki’, ‘Tee Geli Tevha’, ‘Shree Tashi Sou’ and ‘Perfect Mismatch’ , he established himself as a  versatile actor, having won several awards for his performance. Kiran was also seen in  television serials, but theatre has always been his first love.

Kiran will now be seen in forthcoming Marathi play ‘Zund’, the inaugural show of which will be held on 14^th December 2019 at Prabodhankar Thackeray Auditorium , Borivali. This will be Kiran’s 10^th commercial play and he seems to be very excited with the kind of  challenging role he is playing in this play. ” This is a Mind boggling subject. And my character in this play will take me to greater heights.”  Written by Samar Khadas, produced by Santosh Kanekar and directed by Pradeep Mulye, this play also stars Akshar Kothari, Shriram Gadgil, Sagar Athlekar, Pradeep Patwardhan, Sagar Pawar and Pooja Raibagi. This play is presented by Zee Marathi.

खरी शांभवी म्हणजेच राणी वाड्यामध्ये पोहचली असून खोटी शांभवी तिला सर्जापासून दूर ठेवण्याचे बरेच प्रयत्न करत आहे ‘चाहूल २‘ या मालिकेमध्ये. सर्जाला सत्य पटवून देण्यात राणीला अजूनही यश मिळाले नाही तसेच सर्जाला राणी अजूनही शांभवीच्या तावडीतून सोडवू शकलेली नाही. या सगळ्यामध्ये वाड्यात अजून एक विचित्र गोष्ट घडली आहे ती म्हणजे सर्जा सारखाच दिसणारा दुसऱ्या व्यक्तीचा देखील वाड्याशी संबंध आहे हे सर्जाच्या लक्षात आले आहे ज्याचे नाव साहेबराव आहे.

‘चाहूल’ मालिकेला लवकरच एक वेगळे वळण मिळणार आहे. कारण मालिकेमध्ये सर्जाला म्हणजेच अक्षर कोठारीला भुताने झपाटल्याचे प्रेक्षकांना बघयाला मिळणार आहे. निर्मलाच सर्जावर जीवापाड प्रेम आहे त्यामुळे जेनी असो वा शांभवी तिने कोणालाच सर्जाच्या जवळ येऊ दिले नाही. तिने सर्जाला आपलसं करण्यासाठी अनेक गोष्टी केल्या, सर्जाला सत्य कळू नये म्हणून तिने शांभवीला अनेकदा नवीन नवीन जाळ्यामध्ये अडकवले. पण, आता निर्मलाच हे अतिरेकी प्रेम सर्जा वर हावी पडणार आहे.

शांभवी सध्या वाड्यामधील भुताच्या शोधात असून तिला वटपौर्णिमेच्या दिवशी वाड्यातील भूत हे एक स्त्री आहे हे कळले आहे. आता निर्मला हे कळल्यापासून अजूनच सतर्क झाली आहे. सर्जाला वाड्यातील भुताने झपाटले आहे. त्यामुळे सर्जा स्वत:ला मारण्याचा प्रयत्न करत आहे, त्यामुळे शांभवी समोर अजून एक आव्हान आहे सर्जाला बरे करण्याचे. तसेच वाड्यातील भुताची अजून एक गोष्ट देखील शांभवीला कळणार आहे. हे सगळ बघणे रंजक ठरणार आहे.

कलर्स मराठी वरील ‘चाहूल‘ मालिकेतील सर्जेराव म्हणजेच प्रेक्षकांहा लाडका अभिनेता अक्षर कोठारी याने आपल्या busy दिवसांमधून वेळ काढला. पण, हि संधी अक्षरला मिळाली. चाहूल मालिकेच शूटच्या दरम्यान त्याला अचानक कळाल कि आजचा दिवस संपला आहे आणि आता सगळे घरी जाऊ शकता. त्यामुळे अक्षर कोठारीने थेट लोणावळ्याला जायचा प्लान केला. खोपोलीमधील आदिवासी पाड्यातील आदिवासींना देखील भेटला, त्यांच्या बरोबर जेवला.

अक्षर म्हणाला,”सध्या मी बऱ्याच कामांमध्ये व्यस्त आहे त्यामुळे मला स्वत: साठी वेळ काढणे जमत नाही. पण त्यादिवशी packup लवकर झाले त्यामुळे मी लगेच निर्णय घेतला आणि बाहेर पडलो. मला मध्यंतरी स्लीप डिस्कचा त्रास झाला होता त्यामुळे मी गाडी चालवू शकत नव्हतो. पण, आता तो त्रास बराच कमी झाला आहे त्यामुळे मी एकटाच मस्त drive करत गेलो. खूप मज्जा आली, पण मी मानसी ला नक्कीच मिस केलं “.
