Five new Marathi films will be premiered at the forthcoming North American Film Association ( NAFA)  Festival which will be held between 7^th and 9^th August 2026 at San Jose in California, USA. This festival is being organised in association with Maharashtra Government.

The five films to be premiered at this festival are, ‘Tu Mee aani Amaira’ , ‘Na Avadati Goshta’,  ‘Dwidhaa’, ‘Paro’  and ‘Frame’. Besides these five films 11 award winning short films will also be screened at this festival. All these films are on variety of subjects to create awareness about various issues related to human relations. Among these selected short films,  ‘Undocumented.pdf’ will be the main attraction, as it throws light on recent social sensitive issue of immigration. This film is produced by NAFA.

According to the organisers of this film festival, this event will help to promote the Maharashtrian culture worldwide through cinema.
