Known for his fitness smart looks and solid performance in Marathi film industry, Bhushan Pradhan has scored a boundary of films on Ultra Jhakaas Marathi OTT platform. Till recently, Ultra Jhakaas have released Bhushan’s films like ‘Unn Savali’, ‘Fake Marriage’ and ‘Lagnakallol’. And now, on 17th May 2024 his latest film ‘Rangeet’ has been released with World Digital premiere on this platform.

It may be recalled that Bhushan’s characters like Pranay in ‘Unn Savali’, Mihir in ‘Fake Marriage’ and Atharva in ‘Lagnakallol‘ had impressed the OTT audience. Now, his latest character of Siddharth in ‘Rangeet’ is also well accepted. In all these four films he played variety of characters. Speaking about the success of his films, Bhushan says, “I am glad that my characters are well accepted by audience in all age group.”

The first song of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Lagna kallol’ picturised on Bhushan Pradhan and Mayuri Deshmukh has been released. The song titled ‘Sanai Sang..’ ideally suited for marriage ceremonies is rendered by Avadhoot Gupte and Juilee Joglekar. With lyrics by Mandar Cholkar and music by Swapnil Godbole and Praful Karlekar, the choreography of this song has been done by ‘Dance India Dance’ fame Prince.

The song presents the scenario of Mehendi ceremony during marriage and therefore depicts the enthusiasm of youngsters, colourful dresses, music and dances. Produced by Mayur Tirmakhe films, this film is directed by Mohammed S Burmawala and Dr. Mayur Annasaheb Ramachandra Tirmakhe. Written by Jitendrakumar Parmar, this film is set for release on 1st March 2024. Speaking about this song, Director Mayur Tirmakhe says, “ This song is presented to fill in that required energy for all those who will be part of the wedding celebrations.”

Few days ago poster of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Lagna kallol’ was unveiled, wherein we saw three artistes with their back to camera. Now, through the latest posters of this film it has been disclosed that they are Siddharth Jadhav, Mayuri Deshmukh and Bhooshan Pradhan. All three of them are seen with their wedding attire with garlands in their hands.

However, it is not known as to who will be chosen by Mayuri Deshmukh as her husband. This secret will be out only on 1st March 2024 when this film is released in theatres. Produced by Mayur Tirmakhe Films and directed by Dr. Mayur Annasaheb Tirmakhe, ‘the story of ‘Lagnakallol’ is written by Jitendrakumar Parmar. According to the Producer- director, “We had already finalised the artistes earlier, but now their looks have been presented through the latest posters.This film will offer a complete entertainment.”

At first sight, after watching the trailer, one realizes that this film is telling the story of a good ‘Anya’. It is seen in the trailer that it touches on the important issues of today such as espionage, truthfulness, sex trafficking, child labour, orphanage, farmer suicides, etc. According to the makers, the film is based on true events and sheds light on human trafficking. An attempt has been made to present the bitter reality and frightening truth of the society on the basis of a documentary.

Director Simmy Joseph has also written this film and the dialogues are penned by Mahendra Patil. Atul Kulkarni, Raima Sen, Yashpal Sharma, Govind Namdev, Prathamesh Parab, Tejashree Pradhan, Bhushan Pradhan, Krutika Deo, Sunil Tawde will be seen in important roles in this film. Dr. Sagar and Sajeev Sarathi has written songs for Hindi cinema, while Prashant Jamdar for Marathi. Composer Vipin Patwa along with Raam Naath, Rishi S. Trailer of Bhushan Pradhan and Prarthana Behere starrer film ‘Ajinkya’ has been released on social media, which has received very good response. Written and directed by debutant A. Kadir, this film is all set for release in theatres in Maharashtra on 19^th November 2021. The film speaks about the economic crisis noticed in rural and urban areas. In this film, Bhushan who is seen in a corporate look has plenty of scope while portraying this character. There are many Marathi films, which were supposed to be released last year. However, due to Corona pandemic, they could not be released. One of them is Bhushan Pradhan and Prarthana Behere starrer film ‘Ajinkya’ (अजिंक्य ).  Now, with announcement of reopening of theatres, Film ‘Ajinkya’ is all set for release on 19^th November 2021. The film is directed by A. Kadir, who has also written the script of this film. This is his debut film as a director and for the first time the lead pair of Bhushan and Prarthana are working together in this film.

This film is produced by a big team producers comprising of Arunkant Shukla, Neeraj Anand, Raghvendra K Bajpayee, Babalal Shaikh, Rahul Londhe and Ved P Sharma while Umesh Narvekar is executive producer. Presented by Luminary Cine World and Exotic Media Pvt. Ltd. After making a foray into production with the films ‘Ashley’, ‘Dessa Dhimmari’ and ‘Pension’ which is ready to release in next week on Eros now OTT Platform,  Swatantra Goel popularly known as Savi Goel completed the post production of yet another Marathi film ‘Kaalich Lagn’. Now, Producer Mr. Savi Goel is set to venture into Direction with Marathi film ‘Contract Marriage’ starring Bhushan Pradhan, Neha Mahajan, Dipti Dhotre, Swati karnekar, Prasad Ozarkar music by Dushyant Dubey and Kirti Kiledar. The story, Screenplay & dialogues also written by Mr. Goel under the Banner of Saveena Creation.

Producer-Director Savi Goel completed the shooting of ‘Contract Marriage’ and the film is now in the post production stage.  However, other details about the film are still unclear. He is the only producer in Bollywood who made five films in just five-year span.

 Mr. Goel was born and raised in Patiala, Punjab. He started his career as a Bank officer with State Bank of India. Then immigrated to the USA in 1996 for better prospects, after resigning from lucrative Bank job. He got instant success there in the petroleum business, owning a bunch of petrol stations/convenience stores.

 Since Mr. Savi Goel was active and interested in theatre from his college days, he decided to fulfil his dream to associate with Bollywood in 2014. Now he is actively working in cinema industry.

According to Producer Neeraj Anand the title role of Ajinkya played by Bhushan Pradhan in this film is just not a character but a protagonist who will inspire and connect with the audience. And this will also help the farmers. He feels that this character of Ajinkya relates to the decisions taken by the prime Minister to benefit the farmers. And therefore, with the kind of response received by his twitter handle, he is confident that the timely release of this film in cinema halls will receive good response .

Writer – director has used ideal locations in Jat in Sangli district along with Kolhapur and Mumbai suited to the film’s requirement. According to him the hero of this film is one amongst us and therefore while watching this film those who believe in chasing their dreams with cyclonic speed will connect with his character.
