It portrays the grit and determination of the person, who said it and these words are the utterances of the great leader of the nation Bal Gangadhar Tilak, during the rule of Britishers.

On the occasion of Independence day,  Zee Marathi is premiering ‘Lokmanya Ek Yug Purush’. The film will be a special treat to this Independence Day to home viewers. The movie comments on the socio-political situation in India today, with a Voiceover narration in the beginning of the movie, by Nana Patekar in his typical style.

‘Lokmanya, Ek Yugpurush’ is being produced by Neena Raut for Neena Raut Films and is directed by Om Raut. The film has Subodh Bhave playing this challenging role of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak.

The movie premieres on Zee Marathi today. on 15st August 2015 at 12 noon.
