Film maker Mahesh Manjrekar is going in a big way. His Ashwami Films, which has produced sensible films like ‘Aai’, ‘Maatichya Chuli’, ‘De Dhakka’, ‘Mi Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy’, and ‘Shikshanachya Aaichha Gho’, has tied up with Mirah Entertainment (the company involved in distribution of Bollywood and Hollywood films) to form a new company – ‘Great Maratha Entertainment’ for this purpose.
This new company has drawn big plans for providing all type of technical assistance to Marathi films, through a well managed studio, shooting floor, acting and training school etc. Isn’t that a good news for Marathi cinema ?
