The title song of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Aga Aga Sunbai! Kay Mhantay Sasubai’ was released recently. This song covers all the humour filled interactions between Sasubai and Sunbai played by Nirmiti Sawant and Prarthana Behere.  This song is penned by Valay Mulgund and music provided by Kunal- Karan.

Singers Vaishali Samant and Priyanka Barve have rendered this song in their voices. According to Kedar Shinde, the director of this film, is confident that the audience would appreciate this film and this song will become popular during the traditional rituals like ‘Mangalagaur’.

Produced by Zee Studios and Sunflower Studios, the story and dialogues are written by Vaishali Naik and Omkar Mangesh Dutt, while screenplay is written by Vaishali Naik. Cinematography and editing is by Mayur Hardas, this film will be released on 16^th January 2026.

According to the makers, this will be an entertaining film and presently shooting of this film is in progress in Mumbai.

As a producer this is the first film of Kalpak Joshi; but his father Sadanand Joshi was associated with Marathi film industry in the past; having produced 1996 film ‘Putravati’ for which he had written the story, screenplay and lyrics. This film had won top 14 awards at the state and national level. With Nirmiti Sawant playing an important role in this film, there are big hopes from this film.

But, Kshiti Jog has found this opportunity through her own production Zimma’ where she will be seen working under the direction of hubby Hemant Dhome for the first time. Till now, Kshiti has made her presence felt as a talented actress by performing variety of roles on stage, television and films. But now, she presents herself in a new role as producer as well as actress in the film ‘Jhimma’, which is directed by Hemant Dhome.

This film starring Kshiti Jog along with Nirmiti Sawant, Suhas Joshi, Sonalee, Sayali Sanjeev, Mrunmayee Godbole, Suchitra Bandekar and Siddharth Chandekar is jointly produced by Kshiti Jog along with Swati Khopkar, Ajinkya Dhamal, Viraj Gavas, Urfi Kazmi and Anupam Mishra. Amitraj has provided music of this film, while cinematography is by Sanjay Memane. This film’s story is written by Hemant Edlabadkar. While Guru Thakur and Abhay Inamdar have penned the lyrics for this film, music is by Chaitanya Aadkar. From ‘Bindhaast’ to ‘Gangunbai Non Matric’ ( The film) versatile actress Nirmiti Sawant has presented variety of characters, entertaining the Marathi film audience, for the past 16 years through her 16 films. Now, her forthcoming Marathi film ‘Bai Go Bai’ is all set to release on 4^th December 2015.  Recently, the music release of this film, was held in Mumbai, in presence of  team members and invitees.

Produced by Pradeep Patil & Naresh Thakur , the film is directed by Vijay Pagare, who is making his debut as a director through this film. Earlier, he had assisted Kedar Shinde in his two projects. Film’s music is by Vijay Gatlewar.  Incidentally, Vijay Gatlewar was the winner of 2006 TV reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma’ as a singer. While speaking on the occasion, Nirmiti Sawant expressed satisfaction of doing this film and hoped that the film will be appreciated by the Marathi film audience.

Besides Nirmiti Sawant, the other artistes of this film are, Vijay Patkar, Nayan Jadhav, Shashikant Kerkar, Sheetal Phatak, Jaywant Bhalekar and others.
