Trailer of Bhushan Pradhan and Prarthana Behere starrer film ‘Ajinkya’ has been released on social media, which has received very good response. Written and directed by debutant A. Kadir, this film is all set for release in theatres in Maharashtra on 19^th November 2021. The film speaks about the economic crisis noticed in rural and urban areas. In this film, Bhushan who is seen in a corporate look has plenty of scope while portraying this character. Prarthana is also having an equally important lead role in this film, as noticed in the trailer.

The film also stars other important artistes in prominent roles. They comprise of Uday Tikekar, Arun Nalawade, Ganesh Yadav, Aniket Kelkar, Prasad Javade, Padmanabh Bimb, Triyug Mantri, Vandana Vaknis and Pallavi Patil. Rohan- Rohan music will also be one of the highlights of this film with four well composed songs, which have been receiving good response from the  music lovers. There are many Marathi films, which were supposed to be released last year. However, due to Corona pandemic, they could not be released. One of them is Bhushan Pradhan and Prarthana Behere starrer film ‘Ajinkya’ (अजिंक्य ).  Now, with announcement of reopening of theatres, Film ‘Ajinkya’ is all set for release on 19^th November 2021. The film is directed by A. Kadir, who has also written the script of this film. This is his debut film as a director and for the first time the lead pair of Bhushan and Prarthana are working together in this film.

This film is produced by a big team producers comprising of Arunkant Shukla, Neeraj Anand, Raghvendra K Bajpayee, Babalal Shaikh, Rahul Londhe and Ved P Sharma while Umesh Narvekar is executive producer. Presented by Luminary Cine World and Exotic Media Pvt. Ltd. Besides Bhushan and Prarthana,  this film also stars Uday Tikekar, Arun Nalawade, Ganesh Yadav, Aniket Kelkar, Prasad Javade, Padmanabh Bimb, Triyug Mantri, Vandana Waknis and Pallavi Patil in lead roles.

Writer – director has used ideal locations in Jat in Sangli district along with Kolhapur and Mumbai suited to the film’s requirement. According to him the hero of this film is one amongst us and therefore while watching this film those who believe in chasing their dreams with cyclonic speed will connect with his character. Now, it remains to be seen how the chemistry between Bhushan and Prarthana works in this film.

Speaking about the film Mr. Rohan Gokhale said, “Songs from films are seen and liked more than a teaser or a trailer of the same and the songs are now becoming the Firstlook of the films as well. This means that as Music Directors we are also equally responsible for the film with Producers and the Director. Audiences now are very particular about the words as well as garnishing of music for them. Speaking about her fine gesture, Pallavi says, “I regularly visit and work for social organisations in Jalgaon and Pune . And therefore on my birthday I am either at these two places or at my village with my parents. But, this time since I was busy with my work in Mumbai, I decided to celebrate my birthday with orphans from a social organisation in Mumbai. It was a pleasure meeting these children and their teachers at Vatsalya , which gave me enough energy to work till my next birthday. These children rendered songs for me , which was also a memorable experience for me.”

Arun has selected a suitable location in Bhor village in Maharashtra. Going with the tradition of the pre independence era, particularly in villages, the director had instructed all the lady characters, including the lead female character played by Pallavi Patil, during the course of shooting, to move barefoot. And therefore, during the entire day of the shooting Pallavi had to move barefoot. Initially she did have a problem. As being very particular about cleanliness, she used to wash her feet after every scene. But, later she realised that she had to be a perfectionist and hence practised her walks barefoot while moving from one house to another.

On many occasions, she had to stand barefoot, while giving photo pose before shooting a scene with her husband played by Bhushan Pradhan who used to be in chappals to go with the tradition. This web series is now getting ready for release on 15th August 2019. And with this series the web world is likely to be more popular among Marathi viewers.
