National award winning director Santosh Davakhar recently released his next Marathi film ‘Gondhal’ trailer in a grand way,  recently. The function was held in a traditional way with the help of music and dances . The trailer of this film, which was released on this occasion, has now become popular on social media, with big expectations from this film.

The trailer clearly hints at some mystery in the story and has therefore generated more interest among the film lovers. Moreover, the grand presentation, effective cinematography and use of technology is clearly noticed through this trailer. Writer- director Santosh Davkhar is confident that his film will not only entertain the audience but also create a deep impact on them.

Starring Kishore Kadam, Ishita Deshmukh, Yogesh Sohoni, Nishad Bhoir, Anuj Prabhu, Suresh Vishwakarma, Madhavi Juvekar, Aishwarya Shinde, Kailash Waghmare and others, this film will be released on 14^th November 2025.

The second ‘E – Natyashodh Multilingual One Act Play competition‘ was dominated by Marathi plays. The first prize was won by ‘Adam Tadam‘ presented by Dombivali’s Swami Natyagan and written- directed by Rajesh Shinde, while the second prize was won by ‘Anaesthesia‘ written by Dr. Chandrashekhar and directed by Srinivas Narvekar. The special Jury award went to Bangalore’s Hindi play ‘Panchi‘, while the Critics award went to Marathi one act play ‘Dehasakta‘ directed by Nashik’s Poonam Patil.

The competition was held in four languages, Marathi, English, Hindi and Gujarathi and 24 entries were technically eligible out of which 9 one act plays were shortlisted for the final round. According to Ravi Mishra , head of Astitva, the intention of this competition is to preserve the one act plays and to enlighten the new generation with the technical aspects.
