The subject of this film is based on a Honest and efficient Municipal Officer, which according to the makers will inspire the audience. Written and directed by Shivraj Waichal, this film stars big names like Bharat Jadhav, Siddharth Jadhav, Om Bhutkar, Shrikant Yadav, Parn Pethe, Praveenkumar Dalimbkar, Prajakta Hanamghar, Kiran Khoje and Ashutosh Gowarikar. The shooting of this film began soon after the Muhurat ceremony.

Marathi film ‘Loose Control’ is all set for release during the new year. Recently, the music of this film was launched in a big way, at the hands of Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel, entire team of the film and  other invitees. The film is produced by Ajit Satam, Inamdar Riyaz, Jignesh Patel,Saqib Shaikh, Mihir Bhatt ,directed by Ajay Singh and presented by Prem Jhangiani   this film is about the three engineering students and their lifestyle.

Speaking on the occasion Ameesha Patel recalled her Marathi connection, to surprise all those present. “I am Maharashtrian from one side, as my grandmother is Gokhale and belonging to Pune. During my childhood, whenever I used to visit  Pune, I used to watch Marathi plays along with my Granny. Ashok Saraf and Laxmikant B erde used to be my favourite artistes those days. Even today, whenever I find time, I watch Marathi films. In my house there are many DVD’s of Marathi films.”

Ameesha wished all the best for this film and also felt that Hindi remake of this film be made. The big star cast of this film comprises of  Madhura Naik, Akshay Mhatre, Manmeet Pem, Shashikant Kerkar, Kushal Badrike, Shashank Shende,Bhalchandra Kadam,Aarti Solanki, Tia Atharwaa,  Binod Rai Bantava, Bunty Chopra, Namrata Awate, Prajakta Hanamghar,Namrata kadam, Ajay Purkar, Umesh Jagtap and others. Marathi films released during the past few years have tried to present some realistic themes based on what is happening around in our society. Cheating people who become members of chit fund has also been one of the breaking news on news channels. At the same time, many financial scams have been uncovered after the complaints received from the victims. Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Dhingana’ is also based on one such chit fund scam.  It presents the story of a young villager Rajaram , who comes to the rescue of the entire village which has become the victim of a chit fund scam.

Produced by Sameer sadanand Patil and directed by Chandrakant Dudhgaonkar, the film is getting ready for release on 8^th December 2017.Highlight of this film is the appearance of four Bollywood villains together. Stalwarts like Raza Murad, Shahbaaz Khan, Avtaar Gill & Kunica will be seen in the lead roles along with  Priyadarshan Jadhav, Prajakta Hanamghar, Anshuman Vichare, Swapnil Rajshekhar & Prakash Dhotre. Music by Amitraj & Shashank Powar, choreography by Sujit Kumar, cinematography by I Giridharan are the other credits of this film.

Combining our Marathi stars with Hindi film stars is not new to Marathi cinema. But, forthcoming Marathi film ‘Dhingana‘ produced by Samir Sadanand Patil and directed by Chandrakant Dudhgaonkar promises a musical entertainer. This has been suggested during the music and trailer launch of this film recently in Mumbai. There is variety in the songs and one of the songs is in three languages, Marathi, Hindi and English. Above all, popular singers like Anand Shinde, Adarsh Shinde along with debutant Radni Tyagraj. Music of this film is composed by Amitraj & Shashank Powar.

‘Dhingana‘ presents the theme of a chit fund scam and has Priyadarshan Jadhav, Prajakta Hanamghar, Anshuman Vichare, Swapnil Rajshekhar, Prakash Dhotre along with Hindi film artistes Raza Murad, Shahbaz Khan, Avtar Gill and Kunika in lead roles. Written by Hemant Edlabadkar, the cinematography of this film is done by I.Giridharan. Art by Sandeep Inamke & editing by Faisal Mahadik are other credits. The film is all set to release on 8^th December 2017.

In the recent past, we have seen many Bollywood personalities forming part of Marathi films. And now, to add to that list will be popular Bollywood artistes Raza Murad, Shahbaaz Khan, Avtaar Gill and Kunika. All of them will be seen in Sameer Sadanand Patil’s forthcoming Marathi film ‘Dhingana’ directed by Chandrakant Dudhgaonkar. The film is at present in the post production stage.

All these Bollywood artistes will form the star cast of the film headed ‘TimePass-2‘ fame actor Priyadarshan Jadhav and Comedy Queen of small screen Prajakta Hanamghar. The other lead artistes of this film are, Anshuman Vichare & Swapnil Rajshekhar. Story of this film has been scripted by Hemant Edlabadkar, which music is provided by Shashank Powar and AmitRaj. According to the makers of this film, this will be a musical entertainment. Now, it remains to be seen, whether Priyadarshan will be able to generate Time Pass entertainment, in the company of Prajakta.
