]]> Ganapati festival is considered to be the most auspicious time to launch or promote the Marathi films. Many film makers take advantage of this festival period by organising events at popular community Ganapati festivals in different parts of Mumbai and Pune. Kavya Dream Movies who are producing forthcoming Marathi film ‘Pratignya’ had organised unveiling of poster of their film at the Ganeshgalli Community Ganesh Festival, Lalbaug, to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha recently.

During this ceremony all those connected with this film were present, including writer Ashish Ningurkar, actor-and co producer Ajit Vasant Pawar, artistes Pradeep Kadu, Sunil Jadhav, Siddhesh Dalvi, production managers Pratish Sonavne and Swapnil Nimbalkar. Speaking on this occasion writer Ashish Ningurkar said that his film is based on real life incident and therefore besides entertainment would also send across a strong social message. Popular drama artiste Pradeep Kadu also expressed his views stating that such subjects should be highlighted through feature films to create awareness in the society.
