The new poster of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Bol Rani Bol’, which was released recently, has generated a lot of curiosity about this film’s subject . This poster also shows the four lead artistes namely Sai Tamhankar, Subodh Bhave, Chinmay Mandlekar and Sambhaji Sasane with serious expressions with guns in their hands.

One thing is sure that it will be a mystery filled film , with each character hiding something from the other. According to director of this film Sid Vinchurkar, through this new poster of the film, they have revealed a glimpse of the mysterious and  dangerous  happenings from the film. He is confident that this film will keep the audience engaged from beginning till the end.

Produced under the banner of New Zealand Motion Pictures, by producers Apoorva Motiwale Sahay, Sid Vinchurkar, Amit Bhanushali and others, will be released in theatres from 17^th July 2026.

At a time when new directors are making their presence felt, through variety of new subjects, we have one more name in this list, in the form of Shekhar Bapu Rankhambe. Now, Shekhar is making his debut as a director through forthcoming Marathi film ‘Rubaab’. This film is presented by Zee Studios and Produced by Zankar Films. Recently, teaser of this film was released and was also appreciated on social media.

Before taking up this independent assignment as writer-director of ‘Rubaab’, Shekhar had to go through lot of hardships, right from doing odd jobs for survival, he did many back stage duties during plays. He also worked as assistant to few directors and also produced two short films ‘Rekha’ and ‘Pamplet’ which got him recognition, as both these films received appreciation and awards.

The lead artistes of his film ‘Rubaab’ are Sambhaji Sasane and Sheetal Patil and this film is set for release on 6^th February 2026.

The teaser gives a glimpse of a story of a dashing ,stylish hero and his dream girl. According to director Shekhar Bapu Ranakhambe, ‘Rubaab’ is about the strong voice of young generation. Their love is sincere but there is a swag in it.” We have tried to show this in our film,” he said.

Zee Studios Business head Bavesh Janavlekar feels that the Marathi film audience is always looking for something fresh and stylish and ‘Rubaab’ contains a strong love story, to invite their attention, besides entertainment. This film stars Sambhaji Sasane and Sheetal Patil in lead roles and it will be released on 6^th February 2026.
