Teaser of forthcoming Marathi film ‘8 don 75′ with a tagline ‘Fakta Icchashakti Havi’ was launched recently. The release date of this film has also been announced as 19th January 2024. The highlight of this film is its fresh subject, which has invited the attention at various film festivals in India and abroad, where this film was screened. So far, the film has won 90+ awards at these film festivals before its official release.

Starring Shubhankar tawde and Sanskruti Balgude in the lead, the film also stars renowned artistes like Sharvani Pillai, Sanjay Mone, Anand Ingale, Radhika Harshe- Vidyasagar, Ashwini Kulkarni, Vijay Patwardhan, Chinmay Sant, Dr. Nikhil Rajeshirke , Seema Kulkarni and Pushkar Shrotri in guest appearance. Multi starrer Marathi film ‘Dil Dimag aur Batti’ which introduces newcomer Sagar Sant is now all set to release on 22nd April 2022. Recently, the trailer and music launch of this film took place in a big way. On this happy occasion, the entire star cast of this film along with writer director Hrishikesh Gupte, presenter Dr. Nivedita Ekbote and technicians of the film were present.

Earlier the poster of this film had taken the viewers down memory lane of the Eastman colour period of 80s and now the trailer of this film has promised them dual entertainment. It will offer the entertainment formula of 80s in the present time. Highlight of this film is the entry of an promising actor like Sagar Sant, who has already proved his ability as an actor on Marathi stage through Purshottam Karandak one act plays, followed by his experience of directing a Hindi short film.

Marathi film ‘8 Don 75′ is in the news now days. This film has received several awards at different international film festivals. On the occasion of Father’’s day, the entire team of forthcoming Marathi film ‘June’ has paid unique tribute in the form of a song on ‘‘Father’ which is a reprise version of a song titled ‘Baba’ from this film. This song has been penned by Nikhil Mahajan on the music of Shalmalee Kholgade and rendered by Anandi Joshi. For the reprised version, this song has received support from Anandi Joshi , Neha Pendse Bias, Shalmalee, Resham Srivardhan, and group of common friends comprising of Amruta Khanvilkar, Priya Bapat, Girija Oak Godbole, Mrunmayee Godbole, Parna Pethe, Gaura Nalawade &  Sanskruti Balgude .

Speaking on this occasion Music director of this film Shalmalee said, “We don’t give as much of importance to our Fathers, which they actually deserve. Producers Vikas Hande, Lokesh Mangde, Sudhir Kolte performed the muhurat of their Marathi film ‘8 Don 75′ with a tagline ‘Fakta Icchashakti Havi’ in Pune recently. The muhurat clap was given by MNS Chief Raj Thackeray , when lead pair Shubhankar Tawde and Sanskruti Balgude faced the camera while sitting on a motor cycle.

 The film is directed by Sushrut Bhagwat who had earlier directed films like ‘Mumbai Time’, ‘A Paying Ghost’ and ‘Asehi Ekada Vhave’. Sushrut himself has written the screenplay of this film along with Sharvani Pillai while dialogues are written by Sanjay Mone. Besides Shubhankar and Sankruti, the big star cast of the film comprise of Sharvani Pillai, Sanjay Mone, Anand Ingale, Radhika Harshe Vidyasagar, Ashwini Kulkarni, Vijay Patwardhan, Chinmay Sant and  Dr. Nikhil Rajeshirke. Pushkar Shrotri will make a guest appearance in this film. Lyrics by Vaibhav Joshi and music by Avadhoot Gupte are the other credits of this film.
