After ‘Hirakani’ Sonalee gets ready with ‘Vicky Velingkar’ coming Friday

With about 12 years of experience on big screen and two dozens of films, actress Sonalee Kulkarni was seen very recently in Marathi film ‘Hirkani’ based on history. And now, coming Friday her next Marathi film ‘Vicky Velingkar’ is all set for release. Sonalee is playing an interesting title role of a comic book artiste and a watch seller, who gets entangled in a murder mystery. The teaser and trailer of this film which were out on social media received mixed reactions from Marathi film lovers but one thing is sure that they would want to watch this film for a change.

In Marathi action filled suspense films are rarely seen. And, it all depends how the film receives treatment from the writer-director. For this film, the director of this film is from Bollywood, having done films like ‘Mickey Virus’, ‘7 hours to Go’ and ‘Solid Patels’. Moreover, other popular artistes like Sangram Samel, Spruha Joshi, Gaurav More, Vanita Kharat, Jui Pawar and others are part of the film’s star cast. More importantly, this film is produced by big names like GISSIMS, Anuja Chauhan Kudecha, Ritesh Kudecha, Sachin Maruti Lokhande and Atul Janardan Tarkar all coming together with other team of co producers.

So, it remains to be seen how our film lovers would respond to this new style of action filled suspense thriller this Friday?

Sangram Samel to star in ‘Vicky Velingkar’

Known for his memorable role in the film ‘Braveheart’ and few Marathi serials ‘Undga’ ‘Lalit 205′ and Marathi plays like ‘Ekach Pyala’, ‘Kusum Manohar Lele’, Marathi actor Sangram Samel will now be seen in an important role in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Vicky Velingkar’ which is getting ready for release on 6^th December 2019. Sangram will be sharing the screen for the first time with actress Sonalee Kulkarni.

Speaking about this film, Sonalee says, “I am really delighted that I got an opportunity to work in this film. I have worked with Sangram for the first time and I really enjoyed working with him. In this film, Sangram plays a very close friend of Vickky and his friendship is like helping his friend through his heart.In the film Sangram plays a hacker.”

Actually ‘Vicky Velingkar’ is a salesperson of watches and she comes across a strange experience. How she overcomes all these problems is what the story of this film is all about. In this film Spruha Joshi is also playing an important character of Vidya along with other artistes like Vinita Kharat, Ketan Singh, Jui Pawar, Gaurav More and Rama Joshi.

अर्जुन सिंग बरान आणि कार्तिक डी निशाणदार व प्रणय चोकसी आणि डान्सिंग शिवा प्रस्तुत मराठी चित्रपट ‘विक्की वेलिंगकर’ चे नवीन पोस्टर नुकतेच प्रदर्शित करण्यात आले. या पोस्टरमध्ये अभिनेत्री स्पृहा जोशी दिसत असून तिचा वेगळा लूक पाहायला मिळत आहे. ‘विक्की वेलिंगकर’ हा मराठी चित्रपट ६ डिसेंबर रोजी होणार प्रदर्शित होणार आहे.

‘विक्की वेलिंगकर’ ही कॉमिक पुस्तकातील व्यक्तिरेखा असून तो एक घड्याळ विक्रेता आहे. आयुष्यातील एका अनपेक्षित अशा गूढतेशी या व्यक्तिरेखेचा सामना होतो. या चित्रपटाची नायिका ही आपल्या सर्व आव्हानांवर आणि अडचणींवर मात करत खंबीरपणे उभे राहते, तिची ही कथा आहे, त्याचबरोबर स्पृहा जोशी या चित्रपटामध्ये विद्या नावाचे पात्र साकारत आहे. नक्की स्पृहाची भूमिका काय आहे हे पाहण्यासाठी प्रेक्षकांना ६ डिसेंबरपर्यंत वाट पाहावी लागेल’ आहे. ‘मिकी व्हायरस’ आणि ‘7 अवर्स टू गो’ आदी चित्रपटांचे दिग्दर्शन केले दिग्दर्शक सौरभ वर्मा ह्यांनी ह्या चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शन केले आहे.

सोनाली कुलकर्णी ही या चित्रपटामध्ये मध्यवर्ती भूमिकेत दिसणार असून तिच्याबरोबर स्पृहा जोशी देखील या चित्रपटामध्ये महत्त्वाच्या भूमिकेत प्रेक्षकांना पहायला मिळणार आहे. सौरभ वर्मा यांच्या दिग्दर्शनाखाली तयार होत असलेल्या या चित्रपटाची निर्मिती जीसिम्सचे अर्जुन सिंग बरान आणि कार्तिक डी निशाणदार तसेच प्रणय चोकसी, डान्सिंग शिवा प्रॉडक्शनचे अनुया चौहान कुडेचा, रितेश कुडेचा आणि लोकीज स्टुडीओचे सचिन लोखंडे आणि अतुल तारकर यांची आहे.
