As a student, She has acted and also worked in various other departments like costume design, Music etc. for plays like ‘Sakharam Binder‘, ‘Nag-Mandaal‘, ‘Hamlet‘, ‘Mruchchkatikam‘, ‘Nashibwan Baiche Don‘, ‘Sita Swayamwar ‘.
At Lalit Kala Kendra, She was fortunate to have attended workshops and classes taken by Vijaya Mehta , Bhakti Barve, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Girish Karnad, Satish Alekar, Vijay Kenkre, Waman Kendre, Mahesh Elkunchwar, Rajiv Naik, Samar Nakhate to name a few.
An award is very important for any actor. It is an assurance that people know you as an actor and also like your work. It is also a guarantee that you are not doing the same kind of work. Mukta was elated, when she got an award for ‘Chakwa‘. Receiving the first award is always important.

Shruti Marathe made her acting debut through Marathi serial ‘Peshwai‘, while she was studying in 10th standard. Those days, she was studying in St. Mira’s School, Pune. Born in Baroda, Shruti Marathe came to Pune along with her family, when she was just one year old. Since then, she was brought up in this cultural hub of Maharashtra.
Though Shruti made her debut in Marathi films, through a small role in Shreyas Talpade’s film ‘Sanai Choughade‘, she had to wait for lead role in Marathi, till she was selected for the title role of Radha, in Marathi serial ‘Radha Hi Bawari‘ now running on Zee Marathi. Shruti was part of three Tamil films ‘Indira Vizha‘, ‘Naan Avanillai 2‘ and ‘Guru Sishyam‘. In fact, her debut tamil film ‘Indira Vizah‘ was based on a Hollywood film. She did receive lead roles in few films including ‘Tujhi Majhi Love Story’; but these films didn’t do well at ticket windows. But, her performance was noticed in films like ‘Rama Madhav‘, ‘Taptapadi‘.

Sayaji Shinde is a Marathi film actor who is popular in Bollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood. He was born in a small village near Satara, Maharashtra.
His career started with a decent role in School but it was the Tamil film Bharathi, directed by Gnana Rajasekaran, that made his career. In spite of not knowing the Tamil language, he played the role of Tamil Nadu’s greatest ever poet and writer, Subramanya Bharathi, and was honored with a state award for his efforts.
