Her’s is rare combination of beauty, talent and brain, Mrinal Kulkarni, an eminent actress from the Hindi and Marathi entertainment industry, with high educational qualifications, a rich experience and a varitable treasure trove of accolades and awards, that speaks volumes for her acting prowess.

Having won the Sa. Ga. Malshe scholarship for studies in Literature and Linguistics, she did her Masters in Literature from the University of Pune.

Her tryst with histrionics began on stage, during her college days; although, she shot to fame and became a household name after her first television serial ‘Swami‘. After that Mrinal Kulkarni has not looked back, having had the opportunity of working with some of the best producers, writers and Directors in the industry like, Gajanan Jagirdar, Ved Rahi, Ravi Rai, Vikas Desai, Sanjay Surkar, Sanjay Khan, Surendra Mohan, Basu Bhattacharya, Jabbar Patel, Kumar Sohoni, Sharabani Deodhar, Amol Palekar and Gajendra Ahire to name a few.
Mrinal Kulkarni, the actress, has had the rare opportunity of experimenting with a wide repertoire of characters, having assayed various diverse personae like Ramabai, Meera, Draupadi and also a scintillating double role in the Marathi film ‘Jodidar‘ that, won her two awards in the same year. Always looking forward to challenges, Mrinal has handled historical characters and contemporary roles with aplomb. A persevering and sincere performer, her sincerity is reflected in all her characters, which have endeared her to millions of viewers all over the country. Her strong screen presence, mass appeal and riveting performance have won her a place in the hearts of critics too.
