Arvind Singgh Rajpoot who has produced & directed the popular song ‘Bhagwaan Bachaaye’ and who has been a creative director with films like ‘FootFairy’, ‘Sur Lagu De (Marathi)’ and many more has launched his own banner ‘Scinemasters Entertainment’. This Banner will foray into Marathi cinema and already has a line-up of 3 films that will release in the next three to four months.

‘Scinemasters Entertainment’ banner films will be distributed by ‘Pickle Entertainment’ which has earlier been involved in super hit films like ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai’, ‘ Jhenda’,  ‘Boyz’,  ‘Takatak’ and many more.

This banner will mark their entry into Marathi cinema with the much-awaited movies ‘Raghuveer’, ‘Hoy Maharaja’ and ‘Umbrella’.

 Talking about the same, Arvind Singgh Rajpoot of ‘Scinemasters Entertainment’ said, “We are very excited that we will have 3 Marathi Films releasing in the next three to four months, and this is just the start. We as a banner believe in backing content-driven films and we are here for the long haul. We aim to have 10 films released in both Hindi and Marathi by the end of 2023.”

Produced by Three Star Entertainment and Vinod Bardade Productions, this film is directed by actor turned director Sancheet Yadav who has also made his debut through the film ‘Be Eke Be‘. Sancheet is also playing an important role in this film. The other lead artistes of this film are, Arun Nalawade, Kamalesh Sawant, Poornima Vavhal- Yadav, Amit Chavan, Trushant Pate, Sudesh Mhashilkar, Prabhakar More, Ankur Vadave, Abha Velankar, Sandeep Juvatkar, Manasi Sankpal, Amit Shinde, Sameer Kalambe & Sachin Khandagale.

With script and lyrics of ‘Bhutiyapanti’ film penned by Vinay Yerapaley, the music is composed by Abhinay Jagtap. Cinematography by Lavkesh Vishwakarma, art direction by Devendra Tawde and choreography by Santosh Ambre are the other credits.

Mathematics professor directing a Marathi film is itself a big news and that too a professor from a place like Tirupati in South India. It so happened that Narsinh Panthula who teaches maths to students appearing from IIT-JEE exams developed liking for films and was inspired by some foreign films including films from Iran. He has even made some short films. But, a sensational happening in Maharashtra which became a big news at national level in newspapers, invited the attention of this professor and he made up his mind to make a film on this subject. Accordingly, he wrote the script of his film ‘Angai Geet‘ . He even sought help from ‘Shwaas‘ film maker Sandeep Sawant.

Soon, he found a producer and presenter for this film in the form of Arun Kumar Mulye and Chandrashekhar Rayavar and now the film is all set to release on 16^th February 2018. The film ‘Angai Geet‘  is set on the backdrop of rural Maharashtra and this social subject revolves around three main characters of Bhikaji, Anusaya & Siddhu. The lead artistes of this film are, Arun Nalawade, Abhay Khadapkar, Neeta Donde, Pratiksha Sable & Raj Bane.

What do you expect when two experienced and popular artistes come face to face on screen ? In the past, we have seen such combinations through films like ‘Pinjara‘, ‘Sarkarnama‘, ‘Valu‘, ‘Deool‘, ‘Natasamrat‘ and many other films. With the presence of such versatile artistes, the director takes up the challenge to extract the best out of them, to present the best war of words between them. Now, in the forthcoming Marathi film, ‘Happy Birthday‘ the Marathi film lovers will witness one such pair in the form of ‘Shwaas‘ fame Arun Nalawade & ‘Ringan‘ fame Shashank Shende. Incidentally, both their films won National awards and therefore there are big expectations from their forthcoming film.

‘Happy Birthday‘ presents the story of a sixteen year old boy suffering from Thalassemia, a genetic blood disorder. Produced by Dilip Kolte , this film is directed by Narayan Gondal, who has presented his vision, giving cinematic form to this story. The film is all set to release on 24^th November 2017.
