Renowned Hindustani Classical Vocalist late Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande‘s grandson Rahul Deshpande has already earned name and fame through his performance of on stage as well as in film. Now, his grand- daughter Dipti Mate ( sister of Rahul Deshpande ) is also making her debut as a play back singer through forthcoming Marathi film ‘Baapjanma‘, which is now all set to release on 29^th September 2017. Dipti has rendered a song ‘Mann Shevantiche Phul‘ in her voice for this film, which is penned by Kshitij Patwardhan on the music of Gandhar Sangoram. ‘Baapjanma‘ film directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari , stars Sachin Khedekar, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Sharvari Lohokare, Satyajeet Patvardhan & Akarsh Khurana in lead roles.

Incidentally, Dipti Mate has been singing for Marathi musical dramas and now has made her debut in ‘Baapjanma‘. Speaking about her debut, Dipti says that it was a real challenge for her, as the music composed for this song was based on 35 year old style that raised concern and also created fear in her heart. “I have sung many songs for Marathi dramas and has also sung Bhavgeets. My grandfather and my brother Rahul Deshpande have taken our family singing levels to such a great height that any mistake from my end would have damaged the prestige of our family. But music composer Gandhar Sangoram and my brother Rahul encouraged me for this song and I am really thankful to them for their support.”

The song and teaser of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Baapjanma’ were released recently in Mumbai, in presence of two important artistes of the film Sachin khedekar, Pushkaraj Chirputkar and director Nipun Dharmadhikari. Produced by Sumtilal Shah & Sixteen By Sixty Four Productions and presented by Sanjay Chhabriya’s Everest Productions, this film is all set for release on 29th September 2017.

‘Baapjanma’ is the debut film for Nipun Dharmadhikari as a director, who had earlier performed on stage. According to producers of this film, Nipun is today’s generation writer- director, who knew his job very well, while presenting this subject on father and son in a different way. Nipun however considers himself fortunate, to get a chance to direct renowned actor like Sachin Khedekar in his very first film as a director. Besides Sachin and Pushkaraj, the film also stars Sharvari Lohokare, Satyajit Patwardhan and Aakash Khurana in lead roles.

Teaser Poster of Everest Entertainment’s next Marathi presentation ‘Baapjanma‘ was unveiled recently.  It may be recalled that Everest entertainment has so far given hit Marathi films like ‘Mee Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy’, ‘Shikshnachya Aaichha Gho’, ‘Hapus’, ‘Tukaram‘, ‘Happy Journey‘, ‘Coffee Aani Barach Kahi’, ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai-2′ besides few other films.

Their new film will be directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari who is also a writer and actor of past few films, besides being a theatre personality. The film has therefore raised lot of hopes from the makers and artistes. Producers Sanjay Chhabria and Sumatilal Shah have announced that their film will be  released on 15^th September 2017 all over Maharashtra, but star cast of this film has not been revealed yet.

The official announcement to this effect was made by Sanjay Chhabria of Everest Entertainment, Sumatilal Shah and Sixteen By Sixty Four Productions.

The young and talented Director Nipun Dharmadhikari , who founded Natak Company in 2009 to stage and produce Marathi plays, is also known for reviving century-old musical dramas & also five-act plays which are performed through the night in Shakespearean tradition. Known as a futuristic director of plays which are ahead of their times, Nipun Dharmadhikari has also earned kudos as an actor and writer of Marathi films including ‘Nautanki Saala!‘ (2013) and ‘Harishchandrachi Factory‘ (2009).

Now, the title of his new film ‘BaapJanma‘ is a term which is often used by Marathi folks, has already aroused curiosity.
