Written and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, there are big expectations from this film, as the lead actor Siddharth Bodke has already shown his ability through his powerful dialogues through the first look of this film. The trailer of the much-anticipated Marathi thriller ‘Devmanus’ was officially launched on April 8th at PVR Mall, Andheri. The film, set to release on April 25, 2025, marks Luv Films’ debut venture in Marathi cinema and has already stirred excitement among fans and film enthusiasts.

Present at the trailer launch were lead actors Mahesh Manjrekar, who plays the lead character Keshav and Renuka Shahane, portraying his wife, along with other artists. Both expressed their gratitude towards Luv Films for the opportunity to be part of such a gripping narrative. The cast also includes notable names like Siddharth Bodke, Subodh Bhave, and Abhijeet Khandkekar. The film is written by Neha Shitole and directed by Tejas Deokar, with Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg serving as producers.

 Renowned film maker Mahesh Manjrekar is now getting ready to stage his Marathi play ‘Filter Coffee’, taking into account the demand for Marathi plays from Marathi audience. Made under the banner of Advait and Ashwami Theatres and presented by Mahesh Manjrekar, this play is written and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. ‘Filter Coffee’ will be ready to serve the Marathi theatre audience from 6^th April 2025.

Produced by Dilip Madhav Jagtap and co-produced by Rahul Bhandare, this play stars Virajas Kulkarni, Vikram Gaikwad, Kunal Meshram, Ankita Lande and Urmila Kanetkar Kothare in lead roles. Speaking about this play, Mahesh Manjrekar says, “ I wanted to present this play in the year 1992, but couldn’t present it that time. Now, I will be presenting it, besides directing. Like perfect filter coffee this coffee will also taste sweet and bitter combination and will be a suspense thriller. I am sure, the Marathi theatre audience will enjoy it.”

Virajas Kulkarni who will be performing on stage for the first time, is excited , as he has got an opportunity to present himself on stage under the direction of reputed director like Mahesh Manjrekar. Music by Hitesh Modak, Light effects by Shital Talpade, production design by Sandesh Bendre and costumes by Laxman Yallapa Gullar are the other credits of this play.

His last film ‘Sur Lagu De’, which is very heart-wrenching, is soon coming to his fans. The new poster of this film was released recently.

Produced by Nitin Upadhyay and Abhishek ‘King’ Kumar under the banner Odball Motion Pictures, ‘Sur Lagui De’ is produced by Ratish Tawde, Ashwin Panchal and Devang Gandhi. This film is directed by Praveen Vijaya Eknath Birje and will be released  through Pickle Entertainment Studios all over Maharashtra.

Actor Vikram Gokhale’s birth anniversary was on October 30. On the occasion , the new poster of ‘Sur Lagu De’ was unveiled by actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar and actor Manoj Joshi in the presence of Vikram Gokhale’s wife Vrushali Vikram Gokhale at MIG Club in Bandra. The event was attended by Anil Kalelkar, Manoj Pakhade, film producers, directors, actors and dignitaries from the film industry.

Dedicated to Vikram Gokhale, this film has been written by Ashish Dev and music composed by music composer Pankaj Padghan. Along with the series, there is a surprise package featuring Reena Madhukar and Meghna Naidu . They are joined by Ashish Newalkar, Jayraj Nair, Sunil Godbole, Siddheshwar Zadbukke, Nitin Jadhav, Asha Nyate, Meru Vernekar, Anuradha More, Shekhar Shukla, Sandeep Gaikwad, Hitendra Upasani, Pradeep Patwardhan, Aslam Wadkar, Somnath Talwalkar, Sunil Jadhav, Deepika Golipkar, Alka Parab, Atul Ganorkar, Dilip Karade, Sandeep Jayagade, Amogh Chavan and Audumbar Babar. The film will be released on 12th January 2024.

After a long break due to lockdown, the shootings of Marathi films are slowly returning to normal. And one such project is from NH Studioz first untitled Marathi film, which is co produced by Vijay Shinde and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. NH Studioz had earlier been part of popular films like ‘Pink’, ‘Shivaay’, ‘Began Jaan’, ‘Omerta’.

This film will be a crime thriller and is supposed to be the big project of 2021. So far, not many details about this film are disclosed. But, the film will begin its first shooting schedule soon. The muhurat shot was taken on 28th October. Talking about this ambitious project, director Mahesh Manjrekar said, “I have been thinking about making this project for a long time, the story was already built up in my head and when I met my long-time friend Vijay Shinde on one of the occasions I narrated this storyline to him. Immediately, Vijay roped in Narendra ji, knowing his inclination towards content driven films. With Ninety-nine productions and NH Studioz, We have the most appropriate synergy backing the film. I am deeply humbled by this and thank them for keeping faith in me and the project.”

The film marks the entry of NH Studioz into regional cinema as producers. Mahesh Manjrekar‘s production house ‘Mahesh Manjrekar Movies’ are the line producers and Vijay Shinde’s 99 Productions are the co-producers on the film.
