‘Natsamrat’ to hit the Big Screens once again
Some films are memorable and can be seen again and again. Marathi film ‘Natasamrat‘ (read review) is one of them. The makers of this film are all set to release this film once again at Single screens and multiplexes from Friday 27th November 2020. An official announcement has been made, after watching the reopening of cinema halls after a long period of lock down due to spread of corona virus. It may be recalled that the film had done a good business of Rs. 50 Cr. At the box office, when it was released in January 2016.
The film depicts the tragic family life of a stage actor Ganpat Ramchandra Belwalkar, who has retired from acting but is unable to forget his fond memories of theatre and the stage. Versatile actor Nana Patekar had put in his heart to portray this difficult role on the big screen. And he received very good response from other artistes like Vikram Gokhale, Medha Manjrekar and others. In addition to this Mahesh Manjrekar’s direction added that special flavour to this original story penned by V.V. Shirwadkar.
By releasing this film once again in cinema theatres, the presenters have taken a good decision to invite the film lovers to the theatres once again. But, it all remains to be seen how the people would respond to this offer.
