‘Takatak 2′, the sequel to the Marathi film ‘Takatak’ which took the Marathi box office by storm, is getting ready for release on 18^th August 2022.  Recently, the motion poster of ‘Tatatak 2′ was released on social media. Lead Actors of this film can be clearly seen in the motion poster , inviting the attention of their fans and has been receiving record number of likes.

According to the makers, through ‘Takatak 2′, fans will once again get to experience a fresh storyline. In this part 2 also Prathamesh Parab is playing the lead role and therefore  the fans will experience the chemistry between the successful director of famous films and the popular actor of Marathi fans. In the past, Milind Kavde as a film maker has always tried to convey a social message to the society while entertaining the audience through an interesting plot.

 This film being  an adult comedy, Kavde has expressed the belief that the audience will take the movie to heart just as they understood the meaning of ‘Takatak’ and ‘Takatak 2′ too. ‘Takatak 2’  also stars Prathamesh along with Akshay Kelkar, Ajinkya Raut, Bhoomika Kadam, Pranali Bhalerao, Komal Bodkhe, Sushant Divekar, Swapnil Rajashekhar, Kiran Mane, Pankaj Vishnu, Kiran Berad, RJ Mahesh Kale, Smita Dongre and others. Director Milind Kavde has also written the story and screenplay of this film. Kiran Berad and Sanjay Navgire have written dialogues .  Cinematography is done by Hazrat Sheikh Wali. Background by Abhinay Jagtap, lyrics by  Jay Atre and music by Varun Likhte are the other credits.

The film is presented by Reliance Entertainment Studios in association with Purple Bull Entertainment and produced by Omprakash Bhatt, Reliance Entertainment Studios, Naresh choudhary and Aditya Joshi.

World famous author Mario Puzo’s  crime novel ‘The Godfather‘ which was published in 1969 became so popular that it inspired 1972 Hollywood  film with the same name, followed by sequel few years later. This novel also inspired 80 film makers from all over the world to make films in their language on this subject.

‘The Godfather’ is a famous crime novel written by Italian American author Mario Puzo, originally published in 1969. It details the story of a fictional Mafia family based in New York City, headed by Don Vito Corleone  and also provides the back story of Vito Corleone from early childhood to adulthood. In Hindi, we have seen films like ‘Dharmatma‘ , ‘Dayavan‘ and many other crime based films on underworld, inspired by this novel.

Now, Marathi film maker Milind Arun Kavde, who has made films like ‘Yedyanchi Jatra‘, ‘Four Idiots‘,’Just Gammat‘, ‘Shinma‘ and ‘1234‘ has accepted the challenge of making a Marathi film titled ‘Raaiba‘ on this subject. Having noticed the success of films like ‘Rege‘ and ‘Dagadi Chawl‘, it is not surprising that a film based a world famous crime novel is being made. According to Milind Kavde, he was in search of a script to make a film on this subject. And, he felt that the subject of Godfather was more interesting. He has however made suitable changes to suit the subject to Marathi audience. This will be the  story of a farmer’s son, who later becomes a Don. The film will star 35 well known artistes from Marathi film industry and it will be a song based film.

Known for his films like ‘Yedyanchi Jatra‘,’4 Idiots‘,’Just Gammat‘ and ‘Shinma‘, director Milind Kavde will be back, this time with a new Marathi film titled ‘1234‘. Marathi Movie World spoke to Milind Kavde, recently, when he spoke, about his film, which is for the first time shot in India, with Erich Tilt camera using shift lens. Tilt–shift “encompasses two different types of movements: rotation of the lens plane relative to the image plane, called tilt, and movement of the lens parallel to the image plane, called shift. Tilt–shift” encompasses two different types of movements, i.e. rotation of the lens plane relative to the image plane, called tilt, and movement of the lens parallel to the image plane, called shift.

In short, it was very difficult to shoot the entire film with this process, but Milind could do it with the help of his expert cameraman Sentanio Terezio and excellent cooperation received from all artistes. “Through ‘1234‘ I am offering humor, through this action packed thriller and I am sure, our Marathi audience would appreciate this new experiment. It was difficult to shoot in Hyderabad in 45 degree temperature, which sometimes touched 48 degrees; but with 26 recognised artistes together, I could finish the shoot in 26 days, including one song picturisation,” said Milind, while speaking about his film.

As a film maker, Milind has always experimented new things through all his 4 films in the past, attempting new subjects. Now, his film ‘1234‘ which is a multi starrer, is all set to release on coming Friday , i.e.5^th August 2016.
