‘Dagdi Chawl': “Story starts in era of 1996 and revolves around person called Surya played by Ankush Chaudhari, who leads a peaceful life in one of the chawls of Mumbai. He owns his own work setup and is almost on verge to settle down in life by marrying his beloved. As stated about the era of 1996 where underworld activities were still live on streets of Mumbai. Similarly one such incident happens with Surya which lands him in a situation where he has to come face to face with ‘Daddy’ a.k.a. Arun Gawli played by Makrand Deshpande and his journey in underworld starts, so does his struggle to unassociate himself with the tag of Daagdi Chaawl, which lands him further deep into activities of Daagdi Chaawl in end placing himself against ‘Daddy'”.
