Shalaka and Nikhil Khazindar. Have announced the release date of their forthcoming Marathi film ‘Darling’ as 10^th December 2021 all over Maharashtra in theatres. Since the announcement of this film directed by Sameer Asha Patil this film has been the subject of discussion among the Marathi film lovers. Prathamesh Parab, who plays the protagonist with co star  Ritika shrotri,  who was his co-star in the previous hit film ‘Takatak’. Now, she plays the role of his darling in this film.

In this film, apart from lead artistes Ritika Shrotri, Prathamesh Parab and Nikhil Chavan, actors like Anand Ingale and Mangesh Kadam will be seen in  key roles. The music director duo Chinar-Mahesh have composed the music for the film. With Prathamesh and Rithika pair having already become popular through their previous hit, there are big expectations from this film too.  After experiencing grand success of his previous Marathi film ‘Takatak’, Film maker Milind Kavde has now announced the sequel titled ‘Takatak 2′ To be produced by Omprakash Bhatt and Dhananjay Singh Masoom of Purple Bull Entertainment & Jagat Singh . The motion poster of this film was unveiled on social media. Besides directing this film, Milind has also written the story and screenplay of this film, while the dialogues are penned by Kiran Berad. Jay Atre has written the lyrics, while music will be scored by Varun Likhate. Hajrat Shaikh Wali is the DOP of this film.

When asked how thought of the idea of making a sequel of the film, Milind said that the sequel of the film will prove to be a love story with a difference with visionary lyrics and brilliant music as its USP.
