After receiving overwhelming response for her first two series of ‘Savanee Unplugged’, popular Marathi singer Savaniee Ravindrra has now launched her third series of ‘Savanee Unplugged’ with the Gazal title ‘Itna Shor Sharaba Kyun Hai’. Speaking about this new launch Savanee says, “There were already inquiries coming about the third series from the music lovers, after appreciating the first two series. And therefoe, I thought of launching this third series coinciding with the World music day.”

This Gazal is written by Vaibhav Joshi and the music is composed by Dataprasad Ranade . In this video of Gazal Savanee Ravindra’s melodious voice has received the support of piano played by Ninad Solapurkar, while Mayur Dhande is seen completing his wonderful painting . Mayur was earlier seen doing his remarkable painting in Savanee’s previous song video ‘Mahiya’. All in all the superb combination of a singer , painter and a piano artist makes this Gazal more effective. Now every week you will find a new song in this third series.

Now, with this new presentation on Lata Mangeshkar Savaniee has been receiving good response in Mumbai after winning the hearts of audience in Pune.

Speaking about this concept, Savaniee says, “In the recent past we celebrated the 90th birthday of the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and therefore I thought of saluting her long career with this presentation from me. And I am glad that there is overwhelming response from the audience in Pune and Mumbai.”

Speaking about her husband’s debut in this entertainment industry, Savanee says, “This year’s Valentine’s day was our first after our marriage. And on this day, Ashish had expressed his desire to produce a song album for me. He also felt that this first song should be dedicated to the nation and therefore it was decided to produce ‘Vande mataram’ song to begin with. Recently I started ‘Savanee original’ series and released a tamil song which received overwhelming response. So, I decided to do the next song in Hindi. Till recently, I have sung songs dedicated to our nation for other groups. But, always felt that there should be a song of my own and that’s how ‘Vande Mataram’ song  became a reality.”

Speaking about her unique way of celebrating birthday, Savaniee says, “I never believed in celebrating my birthdays by throwing away parties and accepting gifts. I always felt that on my birthday, I should bring smile on someone who really deserves  a  gift. And when I made a beginning, I continued with this practice till now. It really makes me happy too.”  Then narrating her experience of being with such children, she added, “Actually, I had come to meet these children to give them a surprise. Instead, they only surprised me, by singing songs and performing dances to welcome me. And, this turned out to be the best offering to me, to energise me till next  birthday.”

Then briefing about her music series, Savani says, “This new series contains combination of old and new Marathi and Hindi songs. It has different moods like devotional, romantic, rain songs etc. Now days, music lovers like to listen to something new and raw. Another highlight of this series is that while shooting these songs there was no break taken and therefore, there was no question of retakes. I am glad that this music series has been receiving very good response from the music lovers.”

सावनी पूढे सांगते, “माझी मैत्रीण सची पटवर्धनच्या ‘एबनी बाय आयवरी’चे कपडे मी नेहमी घालते. म्हणूनच हे फोटोशूट करण्याची कल्पना मला तिने दिली. मी जर वैयक्तिक जीवनात कॅज्युअल वेअर घालते. तर एकदा त्यामध्ये फोटोशूटही करावे, असे तिला वाटत होते.”

Now, another popular singer from Marathi Savani Ravindra has also made her acting debut recently, through a web series ‘Galimaar’ on youtube , produced by Aditi Dravid. In this web series she has performed with popular television actor Suyash Tilak.

Speaking about her acting debut, Singer Savani Ravindra says, “I have always given top priority to singing and have been rejecting acting offers coming to me. But, when my old friend Aditi Dravid approached me with this offer, I could not say ‘no’ to her. It was all because of our good friendship. Moreover, Suyash has been my friend since my college days and hence there was no tension while acting. Actually, it was a good experience and I enjoyed it.”

Daughter of Dr. Ravindra Ghangurde and Dr. Vandana Ghangurde who are both singers, Savaniee Ravindrra did her schooling from Fergusson College, Pune. She has a strong classical background. Speaking about her latest achievement, Savaniee Ravindrra says, ” Composer Sanjay Ravi did listen to one of my cover songs ‘Confluence of Indian Music’, he connected with me through Facebook & a friend Abhay who is the co-singer for the same song. He asked me to sing a tamil song for him and it was like a dream come true. So, without a second thought I flew down to Chennai and recorded my first Tamil song.”

This song has been penned by Bala, Composed by Sanjay Ravi, beautifully sung by Savaniee Ravindrra & Keshav. The video is created by The Studio, and the song is being appreciated by many stalwarts like composer Ghibran, Hariharan jee & others.
