Popular Marathi TV serial ‘Dil Dosti Duniyadari’ brought into light a talented actor Suvrat Joshi along with few others, who were part of this serial. Today, we find him in the role of TV anchor in another popular Dance Reality show Dance Maharashtra Dance. And now, he is all set to grab the attention of Marathi film lovers, as he has found a big opportunity to prove his mettle on big screen in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Shikari’. Fortunately for him, this film is presented by Mahesh Waman Manjrekar and directed by renowned film director Viju Mane and is all set to release on 20th April 2018 all over Maharashtra.

Suvrat plays lead role in this film opposite actress Neha Khan, who makes her debut in Marathi. Mrunmayee Deshpande also plays another lead role in this film, in the company of other versatile artistes like Kashmira Shah, Prasad Oak, Siddharth Jadhav, Bhalchandra kadam, Vaibhav Mangale, Bharat Ganeshpure. Recently in a press conference in Mumbai , details of this film were disclosed to the media. Suvrat who has studied his acting from NSD was the centre of attraction during this function, which was also attended by all the artistes along with producer Vijay Patil of Aryan Global Entertainment . According to makers of this film, this film will be a tribute to late film maker dada Kondke, as it presents a comedy with a message.

Now, Suvrat the past student of National School of Drama(NSD)Delhi, will be seen in a lead role in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Shikari‘. Presented by Mahesh Waman Manjrekar and directed by renowned director Viju Mane, the film has raised lot of hopes, due to its bold posters and teasers which were released recently.

As Mahesh Manjrekar known for presenting films with different story angles and thinking, the Marathi film lovers are wondering if Shikari could be a Laugh Riot, a Sex Comedy or a Serious Social Drama.
