Forthcoming Marathi film suitably titled ‘My Lek’ which is based on delicate Mother and daughter relationship will release on 19^th April 2024. Presented by Sonali Saraogi under the banner of Blooming Lotus Productions, produced by Kalpita Khare & Bijay Anand this film is directed by Priyanka Tanwar. The film stars Sonalee Khare, Sanaya Anand, Umesh Kamat, Bijay anand, Shubhangi Latkar, Sanjay Mone, Mahesh Patwardhan, Vansh Agrawal in lead roles. Nitin Prakash Vaidya is Associate Producer of this film.

Highlight of this film is that real life Mother and daughter Sonalee Khare and Sanaya Anand will be playing reel life title roles in this film. The poster of this film has shown them together. The relationship between mother and daughter is always special. Sometimes they are friends while on some occasions there are conflicts too.Producer Sonalee Khare feels that every mother and daughter will find this film close to them. Director Priyanka Tanwar calls her film a perfect family film, showing how important it is for mother and daughter to understand eachother.

Recently there was a lot of talk about ‘Lipstick’ on social media. But now, it has come to notice that it was a part of promotion of new Marathi web series ‘Anuradha’ directed by Sanjay Jadhav. This is Sanjay’s first web series and therefore there is a lot of curiosity about this seven part web series which has been released on Planet Marathi OTT and Vistas Media Capital. This web series stars Tejaswini Pandit, Sonalee Khare, Sukanya Kulkarni Mone, Sachit Patil, Sushant Shelar, Vidyadhar Joshi, Snehalata Vasaikar, Sanjay Khapre, Aastaad Kale, Vijay Andalkar, Chinmay Shintre, Vrushali Chavan in lead roles.

The poster and teaser of this web series was held recently in presence of artistes and crew of this film. Produced by Hiralal Dafda and Aakash Dafda the script is written by Sanjay Jadhav and Vaibhav Chinchalkar. With music by Pankaj Padgham, the editing of this series is done by Apoorva Motiwale Sahay and art direction by Satish Chipkar. According to Planet Marathi OTT Chief, Akshay Bardapurkar, this web series is a suspense thriller. Director Sanjay Jadhav who is making his debut as a director in web series, is also excited to know, how the audience would respond to his work on a web series platform.

After discussing the possibility of Sai Tamhankar, Umesh kamat, Tejaswini Pandit, Siddharth Jadhav, Spruha Joshi, Shreya Bugade & Sonali Khare to be part of Sanjay Jadhav’s next film ‘Lucky‘, the curtain has now been raised on this suspense. Now, Sanjay Jadhav has himself disclosed the names of his lead stars on social networking sites as Abhay Mahajan & Deepti Sati.

Sanjay has released a song picturised on this lead pair which has certainly invited the attention of young film lovers. This entertaining song has been penned by Sachin Pathak and rendered by singers Amitraj, Sayali Pankaj and Rohit Raut on the music of Pankaj Padghan, with Umesh Jadhav as choreographer. Produced by Sanjay Kukreja, Suraj Singh & Deepak pandurang rane, this film will be released all over Maharashtra on 7^th December 2018.

Marathi films are bringing in the desired change, as far the presentation of serious and thought provoking subjects are concerned. It all began with ‘Shwaas‘ and recently we saw a film ‘Braveheart‘ handling a serious subject with a timely message. Latest released Marathi film which is a debut film for Bollywood fashion designer turned director Vikram Phadnis, offers one more serious subject in an artistic way.

‘Hrudayantar‘ is actually an emotional drama, which revolves around a well off couple Shekhar and Samaira Joshi( Subodh Bhave & Mukta Barve) married for over 12 years and now preparing for separation. The reason is simple, as workaholic Shekhar a successful hotelier, cannot find time for his wife Samaira, who in spite of being a working woman, also manages household matters skillfully. She also gives much required time and affection to her two little daughters Nitya and Nysha (Trushnika Shinde & Nishtha Vaidya). Dancing becomes a passion for 10 year old Nitya, while Nysha excels in athletics. The girls get all luxuries in life, but are witness to the verbal fights between their parents most of the time.

As the couple is all set for a break up, their elder daughter Nitya is diagnosed with a serious ailment and this puts her near and dear ones into turmoil. But, through this period, the family learns the importance of real family bonding. ‘Hrudayantar‘ is certainly not an entertaining film, but is a serious story very well given a cinematic form, to give a realistic look. Both Subodh Bhave and Mukta Barve are at their best, as expected. Interestingly, Mukta also plays the narrator of this film. But, talented child artiste Trushnika Shinde, steals the show with her spontaneous expressions in all important scenes especially in the post interval session.

Good support comes from another child artiste Nishtha Vaidya, apart from other senior artistes like Meena Naik, Sonali Khare & Ameet Khedekar. Other Popular artistes like Atul Parchure, Vishakha Subhedar, Amol Bavdekar, Shiamak Davar , Manish Paul and above all popular Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan are seen in cameo roles. Dr. Namjoshi, in whose CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, the film has been shot, also makes a special appearance.

Wonderful cinematography by Dilshad V.A and superb background music by Praful Karlekar give a polished look to this film. Well written dialogues by Rohini Ninawe for every situation catch the attention of the audience. Vikram Phadnis direction on debut is also worth appreciating, though he could have made  ‘Hrudayantar‘ film more interesting. He has however shot the most important emotion filled scenes very cleverly, including that of Hrithik Roshan, without making the actor utter a singles dialogue.

Sensitive audience is sure to shed tears during most of the scenes, in the concluding part of this film. All in all, ‘Hrudayantar‘ is an artistically presented film, which needs sensible audience to appreciate. The film is surely in the race to win popular awards for the year 2017.

Recently, when he approached popular Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to release the music of ‘Hrudayantar‘ film, she immediately agreed to be present.

So, after releasing the music of this film, she was all praise for wonderful presentation of emotion filled story through this film. Vikram Phadnis also reciprocated , recalling his long time friendship and association with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Renowned Bollywood dress designer Vikram Phadnis is now turning into a Producer. Recently, in association with Purvesh Sarnaik, he launched his own Marathi film ‘Hrudayantar‘ in presence of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, who as a chief guest, gave the clap during the launch of this film. The film stars Subodh Bhave, Mukta Barve and Sonali Anand Khare in lead roles.

Besides Shahrukh Khan the other celebrities present during this event were, director Duo Abbas Mastan, Vipul Shah, Sanjay Gupta, Sohail Khan, Athiya Shetty, Ritesh Sidhwani, Sanjay Kapoor, Baba Siddique, Kiyara Advani, Neel Nitin Mukesh, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, & Anu Diwan.

Speaking on the occasion, Shahrukh Khan wished a grand success for this first production of Vikram Phadnis and added that he was capable of producing even a Hindi film.

Vikram Phadnis while speaking about this film said that being a Maharashtrian , he felt that it was more convenient for him to produce a Marathi film first. “Luckily, I had a good script, which was most suited to artistes like Subodh Bhave and Mukta Barve“.
