Presented by Jio Studios, produced by Madhuri Bhosale, director Kedar Shinde has announced the release date of his new film ‘Baipan Bhari Deva’ on 6^th January 2023.  After ‘Ghe Double’ and ‘Godavari’, this is the third Marathi film to be presented by Jio Studios. This film is co produced by Bela Shinde and Ajit Bhure and will be dedicated to women. It is a story of six sisters who are separated while facing personal, family and financial problems.

The film ‘Baipan Bhari Devaa’ stars versatile actresses like Rohini Hattangadi, Vandana Gupte, Sukanya Kulkarni, Deepa Parab, Shilpa Navalkar and Suchitra Bandekar in lead roles. Speaking about his film, kedar Shinde said that this story of six sisters will be appreciated by Marathi film lovers and they will begin their new year with happiness and with lots of hopes. Recently there was a lot of talk about ‘Lipstick’ on social media. But now, it has come to notice that it was a part of promotion of new Marathi web series ‘Anuradha’ directed by Sanjay Jadhav. This is Sanjay’s first web series and therefore there is a lot of curiosity about this seven part web series which has been released on Planet Marathi OTT and Vistas Media Capital. This web series stars Tejaswini Pandit, Sonalee Khare, Sukanya Kulkarni Mone, Sachit Patil, Sushant Shelar, Vidyadhar Joshi, Snehalata Vasaikar, Sanjay Khapre, Aastaad Kale, Vijay Andalkar, Chinmay Shintre, Vrushali Chavan in lead roles.

The poster and teaser of this web series was held recently in presence of artistes and crew of this film. Produced by Hiralal Dafda and Aakash Dafda the script is written by Sanjay Jadhav and Vaibhav Chinchalkar. With music by Pankaj Padgham, the editing of this series is done by Apoorva Motiwale Sahay and art direction by Satish Chipkar. According to Planet Marathi OTT Chief, Akshay Bardapurkar, this web series is a suspense thriller. Director Sanjay Jadhav who is making his debut as a director in web series, is also excited to know, how the audience would respond to his work on a web series platform.

Biography / Profile:

Sukanya Kulkarni began her acting career through Hindi film ‘Ishwar‘. Since then, Sukanya Mone has performed in many Hindi films and serials. In Vijaya Mehta’s popular ‘Lifeline‘ TV serial, she played an important prominent role, followed by few other popular Hindi serials like ‘Byomkesh Bakshi‘ and ‘Shanti‘. Then, we also noticed her as Aamir Khan’s bhabhi in hit film ‘Sarfarosh‘. In Marathi, Sukanya has worked on stage, television and films, with well known personalities like Dr.Shriram Lagu, Ashok Saraf & Dr. Girish Oak and directors like Vijay Kenkre, Vijayabai Mehta & Basu Chatterjee.

Well Known Marathi stage ,TV and Film actor Anand Abhyankar is no more. 3 years ago he died in a road accident, on Mumbai Pune Expressway on 23^rd December 2012, while returning from shooting in Pune. Now, his family members remember  him, every year, by hosting an event titled ‘AnandRang’  in his memory, to felicitate  a technician or a worker from our Marathi film industry.

This year being the third anniversary, the beneficiary of the award was Mohammed Chacha, who has served this industry for more than forty years, doing multiple services, such as Spot Boy, Tea boy and other miscellaneous duties. He also suggested home remedies for different ailments. Mohammed Chacha has been associated with film maker  Sanjay Jadhav’s unit for the past several years. On Sunday 26^th December 2015, the award was presented to him at the hands of actress Sukanya Kulkarni-Mone, in presence of Anand’s mother Ashadevi,wife Anjali and daughter Sanika. Few celebrities like Sharad Ponkshe, Ashwini Ekbote and others were also present at the event.

Anand always encouraged the people behind the screen, behind the stage and on the sets, who put in hard work in making the play, serial and film a success. Mohammed Chacha is also one of them. While speaking on the occasion, he recalled his experience with Mr. Abhyankar and praised him for his terrific sense of humour.

During his acting career, Mr. Abhyankar had performed variety of roles on stage, television and films. His performance in comedy show ‘Fu Bai Fu’ and his portrayal of head of the family Dinanath Shastri in TVserial ‘Asambhav’ are still fresh in the memory of home viewers.

Producer Dev Raj and director Santosh Gaikwad have launched their film ‘Family 420′ with muhurat performed in presence of Bollywood film maker Rakesh Roshan & President of Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal President Vijay Patkar.  Audio of the songs recorded for the film were played on this occasion at A.B. Studios, Andheri.

The makers of this film have promised total entertainment through this film. The film stars popular artistes like Vijay Patkar, Vijay Kadam, Bhushan Kadoo, Sunil Pal, Harshada Patil & Sukanya Kulkarni . Other artistes and technicians will be finalized soon, after which the shooting of the film will begin sometime in January 2016. Well Known singers like Avadhoot Gupte, Bela Shende, Sudesh Bhosale, Vaishali made have rendered their voices for the songs in this film on the music of Sushil Pendhar.

On the occasion of Ganesh festival, Zee Marathi will be offering a treat to their viewers, in the form of a programme titiled “kurkure Prastut ‘Jallosh Ganarayacha'”. The programme will be telecast daily at 6 pm from the first day i.e Ganesh Chaturthi till the last day, i.e. Anant Chaturdadhi. There will be different kinds of competitions on this occasion, right from decorating the Makhar of Ganapati to preparing the most favourite sweet dish of Ganapati, i.e. Modak.
