In appreciation of different subjects being handled by today’s Marathi films, The National Centre for Performing Arts ( NCPA) began hosting the festival of Marathi films called ‘Nave Valaan’ since last year. This year’s festival began with ‘Natarang’ followed by screening of films like ‘Jetaa‘ and ‘Lalbaug Parel‘. The festival will go on till 13th October 2010, with entry on first come first served basis, at the NCPA complex; Mumbai.

On Monday at 6.30 pm, there will be screening of Sanjay Jadhav’s ‘Ringa Ringa‘ and on Tuesday it will be Satish rajwade’s film ‘Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai‘. The festival will conclude on 13th October 2010 at 6.30 pm, with the screening of Nitin Nandan’s ‘Jhing Chik Jhing.’ After every screening, a talk show ‘Chouraha’ is being organized with the director and artistes of the film
