‘Welcome Zindagi’ Music launched by paying tributes to Phalke
There was something special at the music launch of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Welcome Zindagi’. The producers of this film, Ajit Satam, Sanjay Ahuwalia, Bibhas Chaya and director Umesh Ghadge, began the event, paying tributes to Late Dadasheb Phalke, showing the video of his passion for film making. Incidentally, this is 102 year of celebration, since the first Indian feature film was made by Mr. Phalke.
Bollywood writer Salim Khan, who was the chief guest for the occasion, entertained the audience , narrating some humor filled experiences in his life. Instead of himself releasing the music, he asked Mr. Honey Chaya his old friend and father of producer Bibhas Chaya to do the honors.
Present on the occasion were all team members of the film, including big team of music directors comprising of Amitraj, Pankaj Padgham, Shamir Tandon,Soumeel & Siddhant. The film starring Swapnil Joshi, Amruta Khanvilkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Dr.Mohan agashe, Bharati Achrekar, Prashant Damle, Urmila kanetkar, Pushkar Shrotri and others will be released on 26th June 2015.
मराठी चित्रपट ‘नागरिक’ १२ जून पासून सर्वत्र प्रदर्शित

राज्य चित्रपट पुरस्कारात ‘नागरिक’ ह्या चित्रपटास ‘सर्वोत्कृष्ट सामाजिक चित्रपटा’सह इतर पाच पुरस्कार मिळाले आहेत . चित्रपटाचे संवाद पत्रकार- कवी महेश केळूस्करांचे असून पटकथा विस्तार केळूस्करांसोबत दिग्दर्शक जयप्रद देसाई यांनी केला आहे. येत्या १२ जूनला हा चित्रपट संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात प्रदर्शित होणार आहे.
Now, Amruta & Himanshu are preparing for ‘Nach Baliye’
We have seen Marathi artistes Sachin & Supriya performing in the first reality dance show ‘Nach Baliye’ on Hindi television. And, we also saw them winning that contest successfully. Now, another popular Marathi actress Amruta Khanvilkar is getting ready to perform, with her hubby Himanshu Malhotra, in the seventh edition of this reality show. Last month, Marathi Movie World had already acknowledged Amruta as the only Marathi actress well versed with dance.
So, after ‘Eka Peksha Ek’, Amruta will be shaking her legs on dance floor, in this popular television programme, representing Maharashtra. At present, she is working very hard, rehearsing different dance forms like Salsa, tango and Hip-hop etc. But, more than this, she is also acting as dance teacher for her partner Himanshu, who is also responding well. Now, all that they expect, are good wishes from their well wishers in Maharashtra.
‘युद्ध’ मध्ये दिसणार समाजात घडणाऱ्या कलंकित घटनांचं प्रतिबिंब
‘माय फ्रेंड गणेशा’ ह्या हिंदी चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शक राजीव रुईया ह्यांचे ‘युद्ध’ ह्या सिनेमाद्वारे मराठीत पदार्पण होत आहे. चित्रपटाच्या शीर्षकावरूनच आपल्याला कळालेच असेल कि, हा एक अॅक्शन चित्रपट आहे म्हणून. समाजातील प्रतिष्ठीत लोकांचे बुरखे फाडून त्यांना समाजासमोर आणण्याची धाडस करणारी ही कथा आहे. पत्रकार रागिणी, या तरुणीची अन्यायामुळे झालेली होरपळ व तिला भोगाव्या लागलेल्या यातनाया व तिने दिलेला त्या अन्यायाविरुद्धचा लढा हा चित्रपटात दाखवण्यात आला आहे.
शेखर गिजरे निर्मित राजीव रुईया दिग्दर्शित ‘युद्धएक अस्तित्वाची लढाई’ या चित्रपटातून स्त्रीच्या आत्मसन्मानाची गोष्ट मांडण्यात आली आहे. चित्रपटाची कथा शेखर गिजरे यांची आहे. अभिजीत गाडगीळ यांनी या सिनेमाचे लेखन केलं आहे, तर छायांकन सुरेश बिसावेनी व कला दिग्दर्शन सुरेश पिल्लई याचं आहे.
राजेश शृंगारपुरे, तेजस्विनी पंडित, क्रांती रेडकर ह्यांच्या चित्रपटात मुख्य भूमिका असून सोबतीला पंकज विष्णू, वर्षा उसगांवकर, स्मिता ओक, संजय कुलकर्णी, सोमनाथ तडवलकर, शीतल मंत्री हि कलाकार मंडळी आहेत. श्रद्धा एंटरटेण्मेंटची निर्मिती, राजीव रुईया दिग्दर्शित हा सिनेमा १५ मे पासून संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात प्रदर्शित होतोय.
‘Yes I Can’ progresses with song recording
Director Sangeeta Rao recorded a song in the voice of ‘Aashiqui- 2′ Singer Arijit Singh recently, for her Marathi film ‘Yes I Can’. Arijit recorded a meaningful Marathi song ‘Pavalanna marg kale na…’. for this film, which has been penned by Akshay Khot on his own music. The story of this film highlights the relationship between father and son. Director Sangeeta Rao and Abhijit Gadgil have written the screenplay of this film together, while the dialogues are written by Abhijit Gadgil.
Made under the banner of Jigvi Productions, the cinematography of this film is done by Naren Godia , while the main star cast of this film comprises of Rajesh Shringarpure, Neena Kulkarni, Mihir Soni, Mrunal Thakur & Paresh Ganatra. The film will be released soon.
‘Tu Hi Re’ launched with song recording
Known for presenting intense love stories through his films like ‘Duniyadari’ and ‘Pyar Wali Love Story’, cinematographer turned director Sanjay Jadhav has now launched his next film ‘Tu Hi Re’ with a recording of song, at Aajivasan studios. The romantic song was recorded in the voice of singer Aadarsh Shinde. Not much is known about the film’s story, but surely it is a romantic love story.
Starring popular stars Swapnil Joshi, Sai Tamhankar & Tejaswini Pandit in lead roles, the film’s music is composed by Amitraj and Pankaj Padgham on the lyrics of Guru Thakur. Manaswini Lata Ravindra has penned the story of this film, which is being made jointly under the banners of Karan Entertainment, Indian Film Studio and Dreaming 24/7. They have planned to release this film in September 2015.
Muhurat of ‘Shinma’ with song recording
Known for his films like ‘Yedyanchi Jatra’, ‘4 Idiots’, ‘Just Gammat’, director Milind Arun Kavde is all set to release his next Marathi film ‘1234’ soon. But, in the meanwhile, he has performed Muhurat of his new film ‘Shinma’, with recording of a song ‘Panyavarati Halla Zala….’ rendered by popular singer Aadarsh Shinde. This song has been penned by Sagar Wankhede with the music provided by Music director of this film, Rohan Pradhan and Rohan Gokhale.
Produced by Anil Joshi, the story of this film is written by Milind Kavde , besides directing this film. Like his previous comedy films, even this film stars a big team of artistes comprising of Ajinka Deo Vijay Patkar, Yatin karyekar, Ganesh Yadav, Kishori Shahane , Saurabh Gokhale, Sanskruti Balgude, Anshuman Vichare, Arun Kadam, Abhijit Chavan, Digambar Naik, Ashish Pawar, Jaywant Wadkar, Ananda karekar, Nisha Parulekar, Gurleen Chopra and others.

Grand Music Launch of ‘Ek Hotee Ranee’ in Sangamner
Producer Yogesh Bhalerao & director Prasad Tarkar had a grand music launch of their film ‘Ek Hoti Rani’ at Sangamner. Mr. Ranjit Singh Deshmukh was the chief guest on the occasion. This film is a romantic comedy, starring Aniket Vishwasrao, Minal Ghorpade, Usha nadkarni, Uday Tikekar, Kishori Ambiye & Ashwini Ekbote.
Presented under the banner of Swaroop Samartha Entertainment, the film’s story and screenplay is written by Mahendra Patil; which shows how circumstances changes a person from good to bad. Music of this film has been composed by Salil Amrute, with well known singers like Shaan, Mahalaxmi Iyer , Hrishikesh kamerkar, Neha Rajpal, Janhavi Prabhu rendering their voices for the variety of songs in this film.
Now, watching the good response for this event, the makes of this film are planning another event at Mumbai.
Shashikala & Suryakant Lavande to receive Lifetime awards
Well known cinematographer Suryakant Lavande & Veteran actress Shashikala will receive Raj Kapoor and V. Shantaram Lifetime awards respectively, from The Maharashtra State Government. Announcement to this effect was made by Maharashtra Cultural Minister Mr. Vinod Tawde. Both of them will receive Rs. 5 Lakh each, besides citation and a memento .
Two more special contribution awards have also been announced for Vidya Balan for Hindi films , and Sonali Kulkarni for Marathi films. Both will comprise of Rs.3 Lakh each with citation and memento. The awards will be presented on 30 April 2015, at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch, Pune. The entire programme will be sponsored by a private television channel. Other awards for Marathi films, will also be announced and presented on this day.
