‘Duniyadari’ is about Dil, Dosti n Prestine Love story

Once addicted, you can’t restrict three things. i.e. Dil, Dosti n Duniyadari. Forthcoming Marathi film “Duniyadari” is an Eastman Color Love Story, which promises to sprinkle the colors of friendship n love from 19th July , across Maharashtra. It’s a much talked about film in Marathi Entertainment Industry.
Suitably tagged as an Eastman Color Love Story, ‘Duniyadari’ is set on the backdrop of 70’s and has relevance to youth of current generation. The film is inspired by a beautiful phase put across by eminent Marathi novelist late Shri Suhas Shirvalkar.
After the completion of the film shooting, Producer & Director Sanjay Jadhav came out with a fantastic concept of making 11 artists from Marathi Film Industry sing a song for this film. The catchy lyrics… Zindagi Zindagi… Doston Ki Duniyadari Mein Haseen Meri Zindagi…happened to be so good, that immediately Sanjay Jadhav came out with the novel idea of getting this friendship song sung by as many artist singers as he could. Above all they sang without any remuneration as they had strong liking to the feel of the song & enjoyed singing it.
Highlight of this film is that it is for the first time that a title song has been sung by 11 leading artists namely: Sachin Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sumit Raghavan, Sunil Barve, Prasad Oak, Kedar shinde, Pandharinath Kambli, Siddhartha Jadhav, Vaibhav Mangle, Ankush Chaudhari and Swapnil Joshi, who have rendered their voice for recording this song of ‘Duniyadari’.
The music for this song ‘Zindagi Zindagi’… song has been composed by ‘SAY band’ and lyrics penned by Sachin Pathak alias ‘Yo’ of the same SAY band. A perfect blend of Marathi and Hindi words have been mixed well in the lyrical composition of this song. The music will be released by Nanubhai Jaisi of “Video Palace”. The film’s star cast comprises of Ankush Chaudhari, Swapnil Joshi, Sai Tamhankar, Jitendra Joshi, Urmila Kanetkar, Richa Pariyalli, Varsha Usgaonkar, Uday Tikekar, Sushant Shelar & Uday Sabnis. ‘Honaar Suun Mee Hya Gharachi’ to replace Unch Maza Zoka

Zee Marathi’s extremely successful show ‘Unch Maza Zoka’ comes to an end on 14th July, while marking the beginning of a fresh & unique story ‘Honaar Suun Me Hya Gharachi’ from Monday 15th July 2013. .
Marriage brings in a lot of hope, excitement, happiness, to every girl. She keeps herself mentally prepared for little challenges and conflicts that she would face from her mother-in-law and other members of the new family. Actually, she makes adjustments and makes her way into the family, following a different lifestyle. But, what if she is to be blessed with six mothers-in-law……and more so all with distinct and widely opposing natures.
This new serial is a story of a simple yet charismatic girl Janhavi who gets married into a home where she finds not 1 but 6 mothers-in-law. Her husband Sreerang, dotes on each of these six women as they are his centre of being. It is then Janhavi’s quest of winning over these very distinct women with her love and kindness. The show espouses the value, that with a large heart one can find happiness in every situation.
These important characters have been played by some of the most renowned faces in Marathi acting fraternity: Rohini Hattangadi, Suhita Thatte, Supriya Pathare, Leena Bhagwat, Poornima Talwalkar & Smita Saravde; who will be playing the roles of six mothers-in-law and Janhavi is essayed by talented Tejashree Pradhan with Shashank Ketkar playing the role of Sreerang.
This so called light entertainer family drama on conventional relationships of every household will be aired on on Zee Marathi from 15th Julyevery Monday to Saturday at 8:00 PM.
Mirah entertainment announce their next Marathi film ‘Popat’

Mirah Entertainment is a big name in Film entertainment, having produced, co-produced, edited and distributed many Hollywood, Bollywood and regional films. On 1st February they released their second Marathi film ‘Premachi Goshta’, which received an overwhelming response. To celebrate the success of this film, they had hosted a party in Mumbai on Wednesday evening.
On this happy occasion, director Satish Rajwade made announcement of their next film ‘Popat’ with almost the same team comprising of Atul kulkarni in the lead and writer Chinmay kelkar and favourite playback singers like Swapnil Bandodkar, Bela shende,Prasanjit and Maithili Panse Joshi.
The three youngsters Amey Wagh, Siddharth Menon and ketan Pawar introduced the artistes present and also narrated their experience, while working in this film. The film also stars Anita Date, Neha Shitole and Megha Ghadge. Cinematography by Bhaskar Samla , Choreography by Phulwa khamkar, editing by Rajesh Rao and Music by Avinash Vishwajeet are other credits. This film is due for release on 23 rd August 2013.
While speaking on the occasion, director Satish Rajwade expressed satisfaction about the film’s timely schedule and thanked Mr. Amit Bhanushali of Mirah Entertainment for the finest support extended to him during the making of this film for the past five months. The actual shooting of this film took only 30 days at a stretch in kolhapur.
The first look of the film will be disclosed on 23rd July; but few clippings from the film to introduce the main artistes were shown on this occasion.Almost all the artistes and crew members of the film were present, except Megha Ghadge, who is now days busy leading one of the teams of Apsaras in the ongoing TV show Ekapeksha Ek'; but ‘Tu Tithe Mee’ TV serial fame Neha Shitole invited all the attention with her mod looks in western outfits. The event was well organised by Vaibhav Patil and his PR team at the new venue .
Universal presents Music album for rainy season

Universal Music company have released a music album of Marathi songs ideally suited for monsoon season. The album titled ‘Paus Tujhya Majhya Manatla’ has 24 songs on rain, which have been rendered by 16 popular singers including veteran singers like Suman kalyanpur, Suresh Wadkar, Hariharan, Devki Pandit, besides Vaishali Samant, Shankar Mahadevan, Swapnil Bandodkar, Sadhana Sargam, Bela Shende and others, who have come to limelight through reality shows.
Music of this album has been composed by 6 Music directors including Ashok Patki, Pushpa Bhave and Nilesh Mohrir. This album is a timely presentation for the monsoon season.
‘Narbachi Wadi’ promises humour filled story

There is a lot of resemblance in Marathi and Bengali culture. No wonder, Manoj Mitra’s popular Bengali novel ‘Sajjano Bagan’s is being adapted into cinematic format to present a Marathi film ‘Narbachi Wadi’ by director Aditya Sarpotdar. Produced by TV serial producers Kalyan and Rupali Guha, the film is set on the backdrop of picturesque village in konkan and promises humour filled story of an old farmer and his adamant landlord.
Versatile actor Dilip Prabhavalkar is playing the lead role in this film, in the company of talented artistes like Manoj Joshi, Nikhil Ratnaparakhi, Atul Parchure, Kishori Shahane, Vikas Kadam, Jyoti Malde, Bhau kadam and Kamlakar Satpute. With cinematography by Rahul Jadhav and Music by Mangesh Dhakde , the film will be released on 20th September 2013 in Maharashtra.
Shooting schedule of ‘Aandolan’ begins in Konkan

Shree Krupa Productions & Produced by Mr. Babubhoir Koprawale, the shooting of new Marathi film ‘Aandolan – Ek Suruwat Ek Shevat’ is in progress in Konkan. The film is written & directed by Mr. Prashant Madhukar Rane. Story of the film deals with the education system in the society, during our school days, when we learned about the morals of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Aabedkar, Mahatma Phule etc. But, when we compare those morals with our today’s situation, we can’t even think that we learned something like this before.
Star cast includes Milind Gawli, Arun Nalawade & Nisha Parulekar, Sagar Panjhari, Sansrkuti Kamble, Pritesh Parkar & Aaditya Nerurkar. It is for the first time, Nisha is playing a role of lady police officer. The execution of the film is handled by Ms. Mahima Malgoankar, cinematography by Amit Singh & music by Harshit Amitraj. The film includes three songs.

After bringing one of his plays ‘Lochya Jhala Re’ into cinematic form through ‘Kho Kho’ only few days back, director Kedar Shinde is all set to release his another play into cinematic form with ‘Shrimant Damodarpant’. Luckily for him, this time he has found support from a new producer Saurabh Pradhan, who is making his film debut through his company ‘Cottstown Pictures Pvt. Ltd.’ Presently his Cottstown is into manufacture of readymade garments with the brand ‘Bombay High’.
The first look of this film was released by Kedar Shinde on Wednesday night, in presence of entire cast of the film and media representatives. Lead hero Bharat Jadhav, while speaking on the occasion lauded the efforts of Kedar Shinde and appealed to him to get all his plays converted into cinematic form; as they had suitable script to entertain the audience.
Kedar invited all those behind making of this film beginning with producer Saurabh Pradhan, followed by artistes beginning with Bharat Jadhav, Alka kubal Athlye , Vijay Chavan, Jairaj Nayar, Piyush Ranade, Chaitrali Gupte, Abhinay Sawant ( son of Nirmiti Sawant), Varad Chavan, Deepak Alegaonkar and Mrunal Dusanis, who is making her film debut through this film. However, Sunil Barve, who is working for the first time with Kedar Shinde, however, could not make it for the function.
Being a good host, Kedar Shinde made a special mention of veteran editing master V.N.Mayekar , who was present on the occasion and called him to the dais, besides other technical experts and music director Vaishali Samant. Mr. Mayekar has edited this film alongwith Pareh Manjrekar The film is all set to release on 26th July 2013, along with two other Marathi films ’72 Miles Ek Pravas’ and ‘Time Please – Love Story Lagnanantarchi’. And this will certainly divide the audience. By the way, there is no Marathi film releasing on coming Friday i.e. 5th July.
Sad demise of Popular actor Satish Tare

Popular comedy actor on Marathi Stage, television and films , Satish Tare passed away today afternoon at Sujay Hospital in Juhu. He was being treated for past few days, for complications arising out of Diabetes, Liver malfunctioning and Gangrene. For the past two days, he was on ventilator. Known for his perfect timing in comedy, Satish Tare was declared the winner of 4th edition of Fu Bai Fu , a popular TV Comedy reality show on Zee Marathi channel.
Having performed in many stage plays right from his childhood, Tare was recently seen in Marathi film ‘Balak Palak’. His performance in the role of Mauli in popular TV serial ‘Eka Lagnachi Doosari Goshta’ is still fresh in our memory. Marathi Movie World pays sincere tributes to his departed soul and pray for his soul to rest in peace.
Ramesh Deo and Seema celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary

Having spent 50 glorious years together, popular veteran Marathi artistes Ramesh Deo and Seema celebrated their anniversary in a big way on 1st July 2013 at Iskon , Juhu. 50 years ago, the couple got married at Kolhapur, when both of them were on the top of their acting career.
Besides their official marriage, both of them got married several times on screen. But, Monday’s ceremony was a special one; when in the presence of family members, well wishers from film industry and media representatives, they performed all the rituals of marriage once again.
Music of ‘Time Please’ released in a style

It was a happy moment for young couple Umesh Kamat and Priya Bapat-Kamat, as the music of their first film together ‘Time Please -Love story Lagnanantarchi’ was released in a style at Ravindra Natya Mandir Mini theatre today evening. On this occasion, the other two main artistes of the film Siddharth Jadhav and Saie Tamhankar were also present, besides all the singers, Music composers and arrangers. In fact, little before the official release of Music CD, live song performances were given by Music director Hrishikesh Kamerkar, Neha Rajpal, Bela Shende and Jasraj Joshi.
Highlight of this function was good presentation by actress Kadambari Kadam, who played the role of anchor, besides interviewing each one of them. She also made Distributor of the film Sanjay Chhabria speak few words in Marathi. Mr. Chhabria not only obliged but also disclosed that Mr. Mahesh Manjrekar had given him a new surname – Chabriyakar. While speaking about the music of this film Music director Hrishikesh Kamerkar was all praise for the producers of the film Anish Jog and Saurabh Gadgil for being liberal on budget of music.
“It is because of their support, I could hire the best team of musicians and music arrangers. I have recorded the songs at Yashraj Studios, to get the best effect.,” he said. He specially thanked all the singers and his associates in music team. Veteran actress Vandana Gupte, who was also present on the occasion, wished the team all success. Director Sameer Vidwans and Story –Screenplay –dialogue writer and lyricist Kshitij Patwardhan were more than happy to witness such a grand music release of their film, which was well planned.
‘Time Please’ which is based on the comedy theme of popular Marathi play ‘Nava Gadee Nave Rajya’ has been modified to suit in the cinematic format, according to Sameer Vidwans and kshitij Patwardhan. The film is due for release on 26th July 2013.
