Zee Talkies’ new movie ‘Gallit Gondhal, Dillit Mujara’ ready to hit the Theatre on 1st May.
The highly acclaimed and current reigning superstar of Marathi Cinema, Makarand Anaspure, noted actor from Bollywood and Tollywood Sayaji Shinde and well known Theatre artist Nagesh Bhonsale has entered the electoral fray and has decided to fight the coming elections on their own steam.
This election will be shortly seen in the hilarious social satire ‘Gallit Gondhal, Dillit Mujara’, the new film of Zee Talkies which will be released all over the State on the occasion of Maharashtra day on May 1, 2009.Produced by Pentagon Productions, the movie ‘Gallit Gondhal, Dillit Mujara’ has been directed by actor Nagesh Bhonsale while Arvind Jagtap has written the screenplay and dialogues and Suresh Suvarna has handled the Cinematography, music by Shailendra Barve and edited by Raj Surve.
Village level politics, infighting amongst political leaders, differences over distribution of seats and other such currently hot topics, tackled by the film in an extremely amusing manner, are sure to highly entertain the viewers.
The towering, unabashed comical genius of the triumvirate of Makarand Anaspure, Nagesh Bhonsale and Sayaji Shinde in full flow and the crisp dialogues of Arvind Jagtap are the special features of this film.

The story takes place at a ‘Tapri’ of Babi Gaonkar- a typical Malvani character. Just like any other Kokni village, this Tapri is place of time pass for whole village. A retired politician Tatya Rane, unemployed after strike of mill ” Janya Parab” and retired school teacher ‘Tendulkar Guruji'” are the other regular characters who provides “sensational” and “breaking” news of the village at ‘Tapri.’ Apart from them many visitors like police, guests, postman, government officials are some of the other characters who adds perfect malvani flavor to the serial.

The great epics Mahabharata and Ramayana have become popular not only in India but also all over the world. Produced by Navneet Productions with the same concept the new play ‘Aisabhi Yada Kadaichit Made in Mumbai’ shows the different characters of Mahabharata eligently. This play is not related to the play produced by Santosh Pawar namely ‘Yada Kadachit’. This is tottaly different play.
This play is written and directed by Raj Patil and produced by Hemant Sansare. Today’s social, political and cultural position is being displayed in this play. The charaters of Dharma, Duryodhan, Krishna, Karma , Shakunimama, Dhustrastrya, Narad and Draupadi are modified to match with current scenario with a comic touch.

Surprisingly ‘Mi Shivajiraje Bhosle Boltoy‘ is being preferred to watch by non Maharashtrians. So in the states like Gujarat, Karnataka, Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh it has been running houseful. And also breaking records of Marathi movies box office.

Renowned actor Dilip Prabhavalkar’s five-book series ‘Bokya Satbande‘ has been a big hit with children over the years. And now the film of the same name and based on the books is line up to release on April 17. Bokya, the protagonist, can best be described as a Marathi avatar of Harry Potter and Dennis the Menace..
Aryan Narvekar the son of noted actor Sanjay Narvekar, will play the lead role. He is currently appearing for his Std IV examinations at Hiranandani Foundation School in Mumbai’s Powai area. He was thrilled about his debut performance.
“I enjoyed working in the film with Dilip kaka and others. Now I understand how difficult acting is and appreciate my dad’s popularity more,” he said while talking in press conference. He is waiting for his summer vacation to start, so that he gets the time to read the ‘Bokya Satbande’ series.
On 17 April there is another movie going to release is ‘Nau mahine nau diwas’ of Sanjay Narvekar, Aryan’s father. This story is a comedy flick of a family where a child is going to be born after seven generation. First time audience will get a treat of son father duo through different films.

Catch the Chitrapati “V. Shantaram Award ceremony” on Zee Marathi
“Chitrapati V. Shantaram award, 2009″ Ceremony organized by V. Shantaram entertainment took place incredibly at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Mumbai. The V. Shantaram Awards are given in tribute of distinguished film maker V. Shantaram. In 2009 award ceremony ‘Gabhricha Paus’ directed by Satish Manwar has made his mark with 6 awards including best film and best Director, while Rajiv Patil’s ‘Jogwa‘ has bagged 5 award including Best Actor and Best Cinematography.
