Mi Shivaji Raje Bhosle Boltoy tripping to America
After being running successfully throughout Maharashtra the movie ‘Mi Shivajiraje Bhosle Boltoy’ now has been release in America’s big cities San Francisco and New jersey and is planning to get released in England also. This is first commercial Marathi movie to be released in America.
First of all in olden days Marathi movies are known as boring, the audience was very limited also so the movie used to get released in less prints in limited areas. But the scenario has change a lot. Surprisingly ‘Mi Shivajiraje Bhosle Boltoy‘ is being preferred to watch by non Maharashtrians. So in the states like Gujarat, Karnataka, Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh it has been running houseful. And also breaking records of Marathi movies box office.
Now it has been noticed that this movie has collected two cores eighty five lakhs in its first week itself and expected to collect more in coming weeks.

Renowned actor Dilip Prabhavalkar’s five-book series ‘Bokya Satbande‘ has been a big hit with children over the years. And now the film of the same name and based on the books is line up to release on April 17. Bokya, the protagonist, can best be described as a Marathi avatar of Harry Potter and Dennis the Menace..
Aryan Narvekar the son of noted actor Sanjay Narvekar, will play the lead role. He is currently appearing for his Std IV examinations at Hiranandani Foundation School in Mumbai’s Powai area. He was thrilled about his debut performance.
“I enjoyed working in the film with Dilip kaka and others. Now I understand how difficult acting is and appreciate my dad’s popularity more,” he said while talking in press conference. He is waiting for his summer vacation to start, so that he gets the time to read the ‘Bokya Satbande’ series.
On 17 April there is another movie going to release is ‘Nau mahine nau diwas’ of Sanjay Narvekar, Aryan’s father. This story is a comedy flick of a family where a child is going to be born after seven generation. First time audience will get a treat of son father duo through different films.

“Chitrapati V. Shantaram award, 2009″ Ceremony organized by V. Shantaram entertainment took place incredibly at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Mumbai. The V. Shantaram Awards are given in tribute of distinguished film maker V. Shantaram. In 2009 award ceremony ‘Gabhricha Paus’ directed by Satish Manwar has made his mark with 6 awards including best film and best Director, while Rajiv Patil’s ‘Jogwa‘ has bagged 5 award including Best Actor and Best Cinematography.

Javed Ali has sang to Marathi tunes in Mohan Aavate (true man, true story).
After SP Balasubramanyam, Sonu Nigam, Kunal Ganjawala, Hariharan, its now Hindi music’s famous and topmost singer who has given his voice to songs in Gajani, Jodha Akbar Javed Ali has sang to Marathi tunes in the movie ‘Mohaan Aavatey (true man, true story)‘. The song ‘Jadle Nate‘ has been written by producer and musician Aniruddha Kale. Speaking about his new venture, Ali said, “I have sung songs in many languages but I always wanted to sing in Marathi. I am thankful to Aniruddha and Subhash Kale for giving me this opportunity.”
‘Mohan Aavate’, a story about a man who is extremely intelligent but cannot seen injustice being done to others started with its shoot with a mahurat at the Ajiwasan Studio.
The movie produced under the banner of musician Aniruddha Kale and Haroon Shaikh’s Arch Film and Entertainment is about Mohan who does not think about the consequences of his action and goes ahead to help the person in need. It is about how his short-tempered personality causes a lot of in his love life and also brings problems in his social life.
The movie, been directed by Subhash Kale, has actors Sanjay Narvekar , Siya Patil in the lead role. Sanjay Narvekar has worked in movie like ‘Vastav’ and is now doing a movie called Pakkya Bhai. The plot and the dialogues are written by Subhash Kale. The story is by Aniruddha Kale. The other actors are Mohan Joshi, Mohan Aghase, Nirmal Pande, Ahok Shinde, Madhu Kambikar.

Reality game show has a new name on E TV with ‘Bin Bhintiche Ghar’
To catch up with the trend of reality shows which are fast becoming a liking of television audiences, E TV- Marathi has come up with a new reality game show ‘Bin Bhintiche Ghar’ to be telecast on every Monday and Tuesday at 9:30. The anchors of the show are actors Ravindra Mankani and Amruta Ghayarkar.
With the generation gap starting to show its effects prominently, there is a clear difference between two people of the same house approaching things, relations and life. These differences have created fights and tensions between them creating a mental gap between them. ‘Bin Bhintiche Ghar’ focuses on this issue and to create awareness about it and find solutions for it.
The one-hour show is a presentation of Seem Art and has been produced by producers Dr. Arun Kedar Nigvekar and Saurabh Gadgil and is directed by Girish Kemkar.
This reality game show which started its telecast on March 9 invites families in each of its episode. The members are tested about the relationships between them through questions and games by psychologists. A happy family will be chosen through this and they will be awarded and honored.
“Such a show has never been on television before. Also we have done a lot of research for it and have not imitated any show of the foreign television. It is purely based on Indian culture. We also found out that the audience needs such a show and so we decided to start it,” said the director Girish Kemkar.
