Landmarc Production’s new Marathi film ‘Sangto Aika’ (which Sachin claims as his comeback film), has hit the theatres on 2nd Oct ’14. The background of this film is that, Kambalwadi’s beloved leader Annasaheb Thorat’s statue is to be unveiled. But some miscreants put a garland of shoes on it ; which sparks a big trouble.
Annasaheb’s two unscrupulous sons, (Jaggannath Nivangune, Milind Shinde) who don’t see eye to eye with each other, try to seize this opportunity, to gather political mileage out of it. A newly appointed sub inspector ( Bhau Kadam) announces that within 24 hours the culprit will be booked, else he, along with his senior constable, (Vaibhav Mangle) is prepared for a donkey ride in birthday suit.
To save their face, they catch hold of an innocent person, ‘Aambat’, ( Sachin Pilgaonkar) who most of the time is in inebriated state, but is die hard performer, comedian, a ‘Songadya’, and also a part time ventriloquist by profession. To fulfil individual political ambitions, both the sons try to manipulate ‘Aambat’. In the process ‘Aambat’ loses the trust of his wife (Sanskruti Balgude) and doting six year old son, (Shubham Parab), who says ‘ You are no longer my hero’.
His son being his weakness, ‘Aambat decides to get himself exonerated, by using his presence of mind and wit. Does ‘Aambat, manage to tackle two warring brothers who are after his throat, and whether he is successful in emerging as a hero in his son’s eyes? To find the answers, please watch the film ‘Sanngto Aika’.

Putative director Satish Rajwade ( Eka Premachi Goshta, Mumbai Pune Mumbai fame) has presented a different genre, i.e. comedy with drama, this time and is succinct in storytelling. He is successful in maintaining the pace with interwoven emotions and not letting the comic moments go out of hand. Debutant producer Vidhi Kasliwal, being associated with renowned ‘Rajashri Production’ earlier, has infused high production values, so as not to lag behind any Hindi film. Story and screenplay (Parag Kulkarni) gets a strong boost with the dialogues, (Sanjay Pawar) which are hard hitting as well as witty. DOP Suhas Gujarathi camerawork is noteworthy. Music director duo Avinash-Vishwajit’s music is already a chart buster. Songs by Sachin and Urmila Dhangar stand out.
Vijay Chavan, Jaggannath Nivangune, Madhav Abhyankar, Pooja Sawant (she has good screen presence), have done their jobs as per the requirement of the script. Shubham Parab, though has very little screen space, wins hearts with his expressive face. Milind Shinde justifies his character and is very good in a scene before TV camera. Vaibhav Mangle scores in his scenes with his witty dialogues. Bhau Kadam is hilarious with his innocent face along with his typical (person not good in but want to talk in English) English dialogues/accent. Sanskruti Balgude is being introduced in this movie. She is a marvelous dancer and emotes well. And last but not the least, evergreen Sachin Pilgaonkar, has marveled as a performer. Singing beautifully, dancing gracefully, acting effervescently, everything he does with flair and his pairing with Sanskruti’s does look good on screen, not mismatching at all. It’s laudable that a person can be so enthusiastic even after spending half a century on screen.
All in all this socio-political-satirical-comedy film is a good watch. It’s highly advised to listen to Sachin in ‘Sangto Aika’.

Studio / Presenter: Surya Film Creation Producer: Dr. Mrunalinni Patil Director: Dr. Mrunalinni Patil DOP: Jehangir Chowdhury Music: Kanak Raj, Sameer Phaterpekar Cast: Ajinkya Deo, Jitendra Joshi, Anuja Sathe, Satish Pulekar, Ravindra Mahajani, Hansraj Jagtap, Anup Choudhary Genre: Drama Movie Review by: Keerti Kadam |
Surya Film Creation’s new Marathi movie ‘Rakhandaar’, which was in news recently, is releasing on 26th Sept ’14 all over Maharashtra. In this world, some feel that God is to be felt within, while the atheists question about existence of God. Producer, Director Dr. Mrunalinni Patil, has toyed with this idea, in her latest film ‘Raakhandaar’.
A simpleton, Sadanand Lokre (Jitendra Joshi), is an innocent person, who believes in helping his neighbours without any expectations. But, in the process, loses his job and starts working in his late father’s shop as a cobbler, with the only thought in his mind, ‘work is worship’. Khushaba (Ajinkya Deo), appears in the scene, as a villager with his special attire, and meets Sadanand, who realizes and believes that Khushaba is godly personality.
In comes, Australia returned Madhavi (Anuja Sathe), who falls in love with the innocence of Sadanand and they get married, defying Madhavi’s father’s wish of she getting married to the Manager in his office. Later, she gives birth to a son. Just before that Sadanand prays to God, for a son. But, unaware of her husband’s wish, Madhavi promises a return gift to God, that she shall return the same back to him.
There’s a villain in the form of Manager, (Anup Choudhary), who is bent upon marrying Madhavi, who tries, in vain, to spoil her marital bliss; with his childish acts. Khashaba – the Raakhandaar, of whom Sadanand & Madhavi’s son Chhota- Malhar (Master Shreeveer Kadam), also gets extremely fond of; affectionately calls him Devappa, who is always there to rescue our Sadanand whenever in trouble.
The story by Anand More, is a bit lengthy and screenplay also bit patchy. Some scenes erupt abruptly, without any connection to previous scene. Editing should have been handled a bit professionally. Jitendra Joshi does justice to Sadanand, with his innocent face and his couple of one-liners do collect laughter. Anuja Sathe has done very well, as bubbly as well as serious Madhavi and has good screen presence. Ajinkya Deo who plays Raakhandaar, looks handsome in this character and has done justice to his role. Music (Kanak Raj, Sameer Phaterpekar) is saving grace of the movie and filming of songs is very good. Background score of Sameer Phaterpekar, is apt.
Cinematographer Jehangir Choudhary is successful in capturing the required mood of the film. Director, Dr Mrunalinni Patil has tried to camouflage fiction with drama, with some philosophy thrown in. There’s always a next time. Jai Maharashtra. Jai Malhar…..Yalkot Yalkot Jai Malhar.

Studio / Presenter: Video Palace, Ashwini Darekar Producer: ARD Entertainments Director: Manva Naik DOP: Dhananjay Kulkarni Music: Shailendra Barvet Cast: Sai Tamhankar, Satya Manjrekar, Dharmaj Joshi, Sakhil Parchure, Swarangi Marathe, Anurag Varalikar, Swanand Kirkire, Ankush Chaudhari Genre: Drama Movie Review by: Keerti Kadam |
Until recently, Marathi cinema was concentrated upon limited subjects like family dramas, Tamasha, comedy and politics. But the new Marathi films are now attempting a variety of topics, such as farmers’ suicides (Gabhricha Paus), pains and gains of college life (Duniyadari) adult love (Premachi Goshta) and Prem Mhanaje Prem Mhanaje Prem Asate ), social injustice and oppression (Jogwa Dhag and Fandry), success story of a mentally challenged girl (Yellow), youths involvement with underworld (Rege) etc. The new film ‘Por Bazaar’ has touched upon yet another new subject, of ‘child trafficking’. With an ‘Item’ song choreographed and filmed beautifully on the current heartthrob Swapnil Joshi ‘Por Bazaar’ opens up with increasing expectations about the film.
It’s a story of five youngsters, who enjoy bunking classes from college and often frequent lonely places together, on the outskirts of the city. On one such gallivanting session, they accidentally come across a forlorn bungalow and sense some dubious activities around it. When they attempt to find out, they are shocked to know that lots of young children are there in captive state. Upon discussing the matter with their professor, they are still astonished to know that it’s a case of child trafficking, which is second largest racket in the crime world, wherein children are molested, used for illegal drugs delivery, begging, sexual abuse etc. In the absence of getting genuine police help, they decide to help those helpless children, on their own. They are ultimately able to launch their own rescue operation and are successful in the venture, after conquering over the villain.

The plot sounds very easy and has been shown in the film in the same easy and simple manner, although in real life it could be the contrary. In fact, the story idea is brilliant, but fails to create the desired impact on screen. First half of the film gives the feel of a documentary. Director Manava Naik, who has a degree in film making from New York Film Academy, has kept the story telling simple and straight forward without using any gimmicks. The movie had initially created a buzz, due to involvement of the offspring of famous Marathi film stars, debuting in it.
‘Por Bazaar’ has been presented by Video Palace and Ashwini Darekar and produced by ARD Entertainment. Mahesh Manjrekar’s son, Satya, who has portrayed today’s ‘headphone plugged’, ‘minimal conversation’ youth, quite nicely. Atul Parchure’s daughter, Sakhil shows promise and the director should have used her tomboyish character more effectively in the climax. Swarangi, grand daughter of Ram Marathe, has essayed, with enthusiasm, today’s college pair, along with Anurag Warlikar. Manoj Joshi’s son Dharmaj is effective in lighter moments.

Ankush Chaudhary, playing a baddy, uses his Base voice to create villainous effect. Sai Tamhankar, who plays a college professor helping her students in their endeavour, displays required maturity of the character and steals the show in all the frames. Prajakta Dighe, Swanand Kirkire (yes, the same), Chitra Nawathe, do their jobs with ease. Chinmayee Sumeet looks convincing in a doting yet worrisome mother of today’s young children. Music director Shailendra Barve has very well adorned the beautiful lyrics of Guru Thakur, especially the first and last song. Background score is appropriate and suits the situations, also DOP Dhananjay Kulkarni is successful in capturing right mood of the movie.
Overall, ‘Por Bazaar’ fails to live up to the expectations initially created by the film. However, its theme of ‘children saving children;s lives’ is to be appreciated.

Most of the Marathi films have certain amount of humour included in the main story. But, pure comedy films are rarely done. After, late Dada Kondke’s rib tickling village based comedies and the perfect timing of comedy used by Ashok Saraf and late Laxmikant Berde in few of their past films, no such attempt appears to have been made, in the recent past. But, new Marathi film ‘Poshter Boyz’ is purely an entertaining film of a different style. It is a story of three gentlemen staying in Vadaner village of Maharashtra, whose photos together appear on a poster. These three main characters in the title roles are Jagan Deshmukh alias Aaba (Dilip Prabhavalkar) Sadanand Kulkarni alias Mastar (Hrishikesh Joshi) and young Arjun Jagtap (Aniket Vishwasrao).

At the beginning of the film the trio visit a Village fair and take their photographs. How these photographs are misused, has been disclosed at the end of the film. After this, some strange incidents take place. Engagement of the daughter of Aaba Deshmukh is broken. When Arjun Jagtap’s girlfriend (Pooja Sawant)’s father sees him first time, he opposes their marriage. Mastarji’s wife (Neha Joshi) suddenly comes to his school and threatens him to divorce. Finally, when they notice the poster on a bus off neighbouring Takali village, the trio realises the matter.

How the careless and clumsy attitude of Health Department tarnishes the image of three simple living villagers, how their lives are affected and how they fight against the injustice, is superbly depicted in the film. Finally, the Chief Minister (Shreyas Talapade) very delicately untangles this mess.
All the actors have played their roles very convincingly. Director Sameer Patil has presented all the scenes in such a way that that the film has turned out to be a super duper comedy. Music of the film composed by Leslie Lewis matches well with the tempo of the film. The brief appearances of celebrities has been used well in this film. The movie is successful in giving a good message.
‘Poshter Boyz’ is an entertaining and hilarious film with all the potentials to pull the audience to the theatre. Just like popular Hindi movies ‘Jane Bhi Do Yaro’ or ‘Hera Pheri’, you would like to watch the film again and again. A must watch Film !
‘Anvatt’ challenges blind faith

Genres: Drama Censor: U/A Duration: 120 mins Studio/presenter: Pooja Jyoti Producer: Shekhar Jyoti Director: Gajendra Ahire Writer: Gajendra Ahire Lyrics: na Music: Hridaynath Mangeshkar Cinematographer (DOP): Krishna Soren Cast: Adinath kothare, Urmila Kanitkar-Kothare, Makarand Anaspure, Vibhavari Deshpande, Kishore Kadam , Bhargavi Chirmule Movie Review by: Ullhas Shirke |
Now Writer – director Gajndra Ahire is back again. This time, he strikes with a psycho thriller which makes an attempt to remove blind faith among the people, about ghosts and spirits. The film begins with the arrival of a young doctor Vinay ( Adinath kothare) with his nature loving beautiful wife – Madhura ( Urmila Kanitkar-Kothare) to a remote village. They are welcomed by the attendant at the deserted village hospital- Sadanand Kamat ( Makarand Anaspure). Behaving like a typical government servant, Mr. Kamat has that ‘Yes Sir’ attitude. So, when Doctor Vinay expresses his desire to visit the village clinic, on his arrival, Mr. Kamat is taken for surprise.

During that evening hour, while Dr. Vinay goes to inspect his clinic along with Kamat, Madhu, who is made comfortable in an old big house; she interacts with a suspicious looking house maid Bayjama ( Vibhavari Deshpande). Later, she walks out of the old house to inspect the surroundings and clicks photos. Out of curiosity, she also clicks the decors at the haunted tree and also brings home a dried scented leaf lying over there. Trouble begins for her, when she develops the photos in her readymade dark room. Even otherwise, the entire house is in the dark, with the lights going off, every now and then, perhaps due to heavy power cuts in that region. The use of old telephone at home, gives a clear indication of the period, around 70s.
So, with that ideal location, with jungle like surroundings, the director finds an excellent opportunity to present this psycho thriller, with the strange happenings experienced by Madhu. Dr. Vinay however, not believing in such things, dares to go into the origin of the problem, besides doing his regular medical practice. In the meanwhile, Kamat keeps moving around suspiciously, with his entry and exit in different scenes and so is the behaviour of the maid Bayjama. The clever director, with the help of cameraman , sound designer and background music at appropriate places, manages to hold the mystery; which he unfolds in the climax.
To make this film more effective, the artistes in this film namely Adinath Kothare, Urmila kanitkar Kothare, Makarand Anaspure, Vibhavari Deshpande, supported by kishore kadam , Bhargavi Chirmule and others, play an important role. They have all put in a great effort. Urmila in particular, has a big role to play and she has lived up to the expectations of the director. Her clicking the photos in dark places, moving all alone in the forest area, however looks odd. But, she has performed her part very well. Makarand does well with his puzzled and suspicious looks. Adinath looks totally different in his new look, while Vibhavari has done well with her quick changing expressions, according to situation. Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar ‘s music has been cleverly used to describe the climatic changes.
‘Anvatt’ is a cleverly executed psycho thriller, which holds your attention; but fails to make a deep impact. The film, however succeeds in passing a social message
‘Lai Bhari’ serves Bollywood Cocktail to Marathi audience

Studio / Presenter: Zee Talkies, Essel Vision Producers: Jitendra Thakare, Amey Khopkar, Jenelia Deshmukh Director: Nishikant Kamat Writer: Sajid Nadiadwala Cinematographer: Suresh Deshmane Music: Ajay – Atul Cast: Riteish deshmukh, Radhika Apte, Sharad Kelkar, Tanvi Azmi, Aditi Pohankar, Sanjay Khapre , Uday Tikekar Movie Review by: Ulhas Shirke |
After a successful stint as a parallel hero, well versed with comedy, Riteish Vilasrao Deshmukh was looking for a change and hence he preferred to perform a negative role of a villain, in recently released Bollywood film ‘Ek Villain’. Now, with ‘Lai Bhari’ he plays an action hero, on the lines of Akshay Kumar, Ajay Deogan and Salman Khan. With the available script, director Nishikant Kamat has tried his best to present him as a modern day Robinhood in this film. So, ‘Mauli’ played by Riteish Vilasrao Deshmukh , instead of propelling arrows with the use of a bow; uses a brick, his wonder kicks and his strong hands to counter all the injustice around. He punches them, kicks them in the air and breaks their head using a brick.
Actually, the lead character of Mauli, who is an orphan, runs his business of brick-making in Pandharpur, the holy place in Maharashtra. But, instead of spending time in his business, he is more into fights, teaching a lesson to all those evil doers, with the blessings of Lord Vitthal. He wears today’s modern day jeans and designer shirt and walks in style, wearing thick high heel shoes; strong enough to kick his opponents.
The character of Mauli in a post interval scene admits that his search was almost on the lines of the story of any Bollywood film. And, this hint is enough to understand the story of this film. Nevertheless, Riteish stands tall on his debut in Marathi, through this film, considering his Bollywood hero image and a typical style of delivering the dialogues. His role in this film is author backed, obviously to extract his potential as an actor. Be it, 70’s or 80s Amitabh Bachchan like angry young man looks, Abhishek Bachchan style of walking or Ajay Deogan type of fight scenes; he has excelled in all these acts. On many occasions, he has tried to be his own, especially in emotion filled scenes. And, he has done extremely well.

By the way, ‘Lai Bhari’ is an emotion filled film, backed by action filled fight scenes; including some bloodshed. When you have to present a protagonist hero, the villain has to be powerful. And, Sharad Kelkar perfectly fits into that role; though he doesn’t look very dangerous. With his stylish looks, he reminds you of olden days Kiran Kumar . Tanvi Azmi, who plays the emotion filled mother in this film, has done a fairly good job. And, she reminds you of Nirupa Roy & Rakhee, in some of the scenes, where she seeks justice.
Radhika Apte plays a typical Gaon ki Chhori and a girlfriend of Riteish Deshmukh. She has played her role very well; but she too reminds you of Rekha of 70s and 80s. The entire screenplay of the film has the influence of Bollywood. There was no need to show her wearing those typical costumes, which were used by Mumtaz, Rekha and others, those days; while performing such characters. When her boyfriend was shown in modern outfits, why she shouldn’t wear a Punjabi dress, commonly used by today’s young girls from lower middle class, in small towns? But, she does get a chance to wear designer sarees, in one song sequence.
‘Lai Bhari’ also presents a new face in the form of Aditi Pohankar, who plays a modern day young ambitious girl. But, her character has been given the kind of shade, noticed in Abbas Mastan type films. She looks good in her limited role; but she will have to work hard on her acting skills. Sanjay Khapre finds better scope in this film, in the supporting cast. Uday Tikekar is fine and also the right choice for the role of Nimbalkar – the industrialist. Others in the supporting cast have offered good support, including the little child artiste. Bollywood actor Salman Khan also makes his debut in Marathi through this film, with a special appearance for one scene, while Riteish’s wife Jenelia also does so, during a song sequence picturised on the occasion of Holi. But, it is Riteish Deshmukh, who has lifted this ‘Lai Bhari’ film on his shoulders all alone, while making his successful debut in Marathi.
Suresh Deshmane’s cinematography, Ajay Atul’s music, Kaushal Moses’ action are other plus points of this film. All in all, Writer Sajid Nadiadwala & Director Nishikant Kamat have tried to pay tributes to all those veteran Bollywood film makers, through various action and emotion filled scenes in this film. They seemed to have been inspired by Ramesh Behl’s ‘Kasme Vaade’, besides Yash Chopra,Manmohan Desai and Prakash Mehra’s films and the style of twists used by Abbas Mastan. Both writer and director have received good support from Sanjay Pawar, who has written effective dialogues with punch lines, suited to this kind of commercial film, offered to the masses.
Those who liked Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Kasme Vaade’ & ‘Lawaris’, Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ and Ajay Deogan’s ‘Singham’, this Marathi ‘Lai Bhari’ is just the right choice for them. After all, ‘Lai Bhari’ has served Bollywood Cocktail to Marathi audience.

Studio / Presenter: 4fs Chitra Producer: Sudarshan Warale,Mahesh Rajmane Director: Sudarshan Warale, Mahesh Rajmane Dialogues: Mahesh Rajmane Cinematographer: Rajendra, Kumar, Mahesh Music: Yugandhar Deshmukh Cast: Niyati Ghate, Yogesh Shinde, Swaraj Kadam, Prakash Dhotre, Yashwant Barve, Ankush Kane, Devyani More Movie Review by: Ulhas Shirke |
New film makers are entering Marathi cinema, with their unique themes. Director duo Sudarshan Warale and Mahesh Rajmane are the new entrants in this category. The US returned software engineers, who quit their well paying jobs, to make this film ‘Mukkam Post Dhanori'; have offered their unusual creation on debut. And their experiment has been successful to a great extent ,for the manner in which the film has been presented.
Pooja (Niyati Ghate) is an archaeology student, haunting her past, to make her mother happy, for all that research done by her. With the help of her two friends Raghu and Sameer (Yogesh Shinde & Swaraj Kadam), she travels all the way, to a remote village Dhanori, in search of ancient hidden treasure. On the way, her team comes across a young couple Ganu & Phulwa (Ankush Kane & Devyani More) ; who flee from their village for their secret marriage. To escape from the villagers, they join Pooja’s group, to assist them in their mission.

When five of them reach village Dhanori, they come across all such people, who try to scare them and prevent them from undertaking their mission; in spite of their holding proper permission for the study. By the way, Pooja’s father is a collector of one of the district places. But, regardless of their good contacts, the team faces resistance from strangers. In every scene that follows their actual work, the director duo have very effectively unfolded the mystery.
Baring few scenes like a baithak lavani by Priyanka at landlord’s place and few over stretched conversations between Pooja and the landlord- Balasaheb (Prakash Dhotre), and Balasaheb with Priyanka, the film has been able to keep the audience engaged with the new developments in the screenplay. There are only two songs besides the title song in this film ,rendered by popular singers like Bela Shende, Jasraj Joshi, Priyanka Barve & Mangesh Borgaonkar. Don’t know the reason for using good lyrics and music in title song at the end of the film; as hardly anyone notices the same, after film’s completion. But, Yugandhar Deshmukh’s background music in this film, is more impressive. Making their debut in cinematography too, the director duo have tried their best to capture some action moments well, besides the facial expressions of important characters. But, the effective special effects done in post production and brilliant sound design, are more striking features.

There are all newcomers in this film, whose selection was done after six month long auditions. No wonder, they have all given satisfactory performances. Special mention for Niyati Ghate, who has given a remarkable debut performance. She is the lead character in this film. If there is any award for best female on debut, it should go to her, provided, there is no other competitor, by end of this year. Besides her realistic acting, her expertise in taekwondo has been used well in this film. Another important character of a landlord- Balasaheb, has been effectively performed by Prakash Dhotre. Good support comes from other artistes of the film, namely Yogesh Shinde, Swaraj kadam, Yashwant Barve, Ankush Kane, Devyani More and others .
The sincere effort put in by the director duo is certainly to be applauded, besides complimenting the equally good performances coming from main artistes. ‘Mukkam Post Dhanori’ has surely turned out to be a different psycho thriller, with brilliant adventures in the screenplay, supported by excellent post production work. No wonder, the film’s remake is to be made in tamil, as per the latest news. Though targeted at young audience, the film can be enjoyed by real film lovers.

He spends most of his time in the company of his two close friends Goli and Vihnu, doing petty jobs, only because he gets self satisfaction. He works late night hours, eats double burger with Cola and sleeps till noon, unless there is any urgent assignment from home front. One day, his elder sister Sandhya (Mrunalini Jambhle) takes him along with her, to receive her friend Aditi at the airport. Aditi arrives from Goa.
In the company of Aditi who is five years older to him, Indraneil discovers a new friend. He clicks lots of photographs of Aditi and falls in love with her. After Aditi leaves for Goa and having come to know about the proposed engagement of Aditi; Indraneil becomes restless and leaves for Goa, seeking the help of his friend Goli. After reaching Goa, we find new developments in this intense love story , with the biggest opposition coming from Aditi’s brother (Varad Chavan) who has fixed Aditi’s marriage to his friend (Shrikant Kamat), obviously for his business gain. This 112 minute long film, then concludes with an extension to a happening shown in the beginning of the film.
‘Tujhi Majhi Love Story’ is no doubt an intense love story; but is not very fascinating. It has many such scenes of past love stories, witnessed on big screen; including one song sequence going on the lines of “Agar Main kahoo…” from the Hrithik Roshan – Priety Zinta’s film ‘Lakshya’. There are also few minor lapses by debutant director Rushikesh More on maintaining perfection towards continuity of scenes. But, there are more plus points too; which makes this film appealing.
The selection of new artistes for different character roles, is perfect. Especially, Sanket More, who has played the character of Goli, a close friend of Neil. He looks so natural ! Thanks to director Rushikesh More, for extracting the best out of him.. Even Shrikant kamat, who plays the role of Aditi’s ‘would be’ husband looks a perfect Goan. Varad Chavan is impressive in the role of Aditi’s brother. With his perfect physique and body language, he invites all the attention in that negative role. Even Mrunalini Jambhale has performed her limited role with ease, along with other supporting artistes .

Playing that difficult character of Aditi, Shruti Marathe has succeeded in proving that she is well versed in playing such a character, who is in a dilemma. She has expressed the happiness and attitude of a typical Goan girl very well, besides turning emotional at one point. Gaurav Ghatnekar is a gift to Marathi cinema, as he has performed the role of Indraneil with total conviction. At no point, he was found as a debutant actor. Having received the experience of a Marathi and Hindi serial, he looked more comfortable on big screen. This Whistling Woods trained actor, who has taken acting lessons from Naseeruddin Shah, certainly has a bright future.
Two other areas, where this film has scored, are Music and cinematography. While Bapi -Tutul impressed more with his background music, Arun Sorte displayed his wonderful photography, especially capturing the picturesque outdoor locations. All in all, ‘Tujhi Majhi Love Story’ is surely a one time watch for all age groups, on account of its plus points.
