Gautam Joglekar thinks big for ‘Jai Jai Maharashtra’
Marathi films have been inviting attention from all over the world for their unique scripts. But, there is no big investment coming from the film makers to make Marathi films to compete with Bollywood and South Indian films, as far as the commercial success is concerned. We haven’t seen a remake of any marathi films into other languages, as we notice in the case of south Indian films. Only exception being that of ‘Pathlaag’ based on which ‘Mera saayaa’ was made in Bollywood.
But, now Gautam Joglekar’s new film ‘Jai Jai Maharashtra’ is all set to bring in that desired change into traditional marathi cinema. His film ‘Jai jai Maharashtra’ will be the fist Marathi film, which will also be dubbed into other Indian languages before its release. The subject of this film will be ready for release on 15th October 2011 and that too in 200 cinema houses simultaneously all over Maharashtra.
Co-produced by Anirruddha Deshpande of City Corporation, Pune, the film is all set to create a record in Marathi cinema with a grand release.
