On the 2nd day of Sanskruti Kaladarpan Marathi film festival, a debate was held on the topic ‘Promotion of Marathi films’ . Actor Milind Gavli, Producer Director Viju Mane, Producer- director kanchan Adhikari, Journalist Amit Bhandari, PRO Ganesh Gargote, Marathi Movie World founder Jitendra More and Designer Milind Matkar took part in the debate and expressed their views on this topic. Viju Mane felt that by copying the style of Bollywood, many Marathi films fail to impress, while Ganesh gargote felt that to compete with Hollywood and Bollywood, Marathi films needed better promotion.

While speaking about the Online promotion, Mr. Jitendra More felt that many Marathi artistes and technical people are not aware of the importance and benefits through online promotion. “ Today when Englsih and Hindi film makers are making maximum use of internet for the promotion of their films, its high time that our Marathi film makers realize the importance of this media.
