Biography / Profile:

Dr. Shreeram Lagoo, Dr. Girish Oak and now Dr. Amol Kolhe. Yes, we are talking about one more addition of an actor in Marathi film industry from the medical fraternity. Since his childhood Amol has been passionate about acting and went on to prove his skills in this area, while he was in school and college. But, at the same time he realized that education was equally important. So, he tried to balance on both the sides.
After proving his worth on stage, he made his entry with a big bang on small screen through Nitin Chandrakant Desai’s mega serial ‘Raja Shivchhatrapati‘ and that too in the lead role. Dr.Amol Kolhe who came into limelight, through his admired character of Shivaji Maharaj in Star Pravah’s popular serial ‘Raja Shiv Chhatrapati’.
Amol found his entry into the big screen through Kedar Shinde’s  film ‘On Duty 24 Taas‘ his another film ‘Aaghat‘ based on medical profession.
