Om Prakash Shinde was born in Ahmednagar. He had his school and junior college education in Ahmednagar. He came to Pune to pursue higher education in mechanical engineering from Sinhgad College Of Engineering. After completing his education, he worked in KPIT Cummins. But because of his passion, he left the job and turned to acting.He shifted to Mumbai from Pune in 2015.
He made his debut in the serial from ‘Ka Re Durava‘. He played the lead role of Dr. Vikrant Dalvi in ‘Khulata Kali Khulena‘. Omprakash Shinde also acted in Marathi films like ‘Double Seat‘ and ‘Kanha‘.
