Anandi Joshi was India’s first woman Doctor who selected her career in medicine at a time, when in 1882 no other woman from this country would dare to enter this male dominated profession. Now, a biopic on this brave lady is being presented through forthcoming Marathi film ‘Anandi Gopal’. Actually, this film presents the life journey of Anandi and her husband Gopal . Actually, without the support of her husband Anandi wouldn’t have been able to achieve her dream of becoming a doctor.

Bhagyashree Milind (Bhagyashree Shankpal) plays the title role of this film in the company of Lalit Prabhakar who plays her dear encouraging husband. The film also stars Geetanjali Kulkarni, Kshiti Jog, Yogesh Soman, child artiste Ankita Goswami & Atharva Kulkarni. The film is presented by Zee Studios and directed by Sameer Vidwans. Recently, the music release of this film was held when music director trio Hrishikesh- Saurabh and Jasraj Joshi were present. They have composed total five songs for this film.The film is due for release on 15th February 2019.
